Suzura was quick to comply with that request, though she had to spell out the word, seeing as there was no real word for it, then explained it the best she could to see if it could jog Skye's memory.
'When someone is very good at running or doing other physical activities, they are called athletic. It comes from the word athlete...' That was honestly the best she could explain it right now.

Skye watched Suzura's explanation closely, then nodded and smiled.
"Athletic," she said again, returning to her spot. "Good at physical activities."
She finished her sandwich and reached for some onigiri. Taking a bite, she smiled at Syrus again. "You made very good food," she told him warmly. "Even if you are not ... athletic ... you are a very good cook, and that is important."

Syrus smiled as he finally when about making himself a sandwich for himself and for his sister. Skye was always so quick to compliment him. It made him feel rather good, and awkward at the sametime.
"Thank you Skye," he said before handing Suzura her own food before munching on his some. "If you think this is good, you'll really enjoy what I brought for dessert."

Skye smiled at Syrus, and her blue eyes reflected her curiosity. She wanted to know what he had brought for dessert ... she liked dessert. But she was a polite girl, and she refrained from asking.
As she drank some of her iced tea, her thoughts wandered to the present she had brought for Suzura. She wondered when she should give it to her friend ... perhaps when she had to go home again, it would make her feel better from not being allowed to sleep here with Skye and Syrus.
Her eyes clouded over as she lost herself in her thoughts. She still wanted to give Syrus a gift ... she thought he was very special ... but she still couldn't figure out what sort of a gift he would like. She found herself staring at him absently, without meaning to, as she thought about the sort of thing he might like.

"We'll have dessert in a little while, if that's okay," Syrus said, busying himself with cleaning up a few things here and there. He felt someone's eyes on him, which made him feel uncomfortable, but he didn't want to stop to look to see who it was, so he tried his best to ignore it.
Suzura watched Skye with a musing smile on her face as she stared at Syrus. Being a surprise still, even though technically she was only a few days younger then Skye herself, she interperited Skye's watchful eyes in a slightly different way, and it amused her to no end.

Skye wasn't watching Syrus's mouth, so she had no idea what she said - and she wasn't even aware that he was speaking until she felt the vibrations from his mouth penetrating her thoughts. She blushed hotly, hoping that no one had seen her staring at him, and cleared her throat softly.
"Sorry?" she said, trying to catch his attention. "I did not see what you said ..."
She rubbed her knee, trying not to make her embarrassment obvious.

Syrus turned around to face Skye, though he saw that there was a shade of pink on her face that she was trying to draw attention away from. He really didn't pay it much mind, seeing as it was most likey to feeling awkward for missing what he had said.
"I said that we should have dessert later. Let us digest our food so we have more room for it. That sound good?" he asked.
If Suzura could let out an audible giggle she would have, so very amused in a girly sort of way by Skye's reaction and Syrus' obviviousness to it, though she sort of was painting a picture in her head slightly different then what was really going on

Skye's lips moved along with Syrus's as she repeated his words silently so that she could know better what he was saying, and when she understood his message she nodded.
"Yes," she said softly, her blush fading slightly now that she was sure he hadn't noticed. "That sound good. Maybe play a game? Rest for a bit? Or help Suzura with walk and flap wings at same time? Maybe teach some dance?"
As usual, her quality of speech deteriorated with how flustered she was, and now her speech was showing that she was a little off normal - though not too bad anymore.

'Dance! I want to learn more!' Suzura was quick to say. She was getting tired of just sitting there anyway.
"That's fine by me. Gives me some time to finish up a few things," Syrus said

Skye nodded and finished her riceball quickly, then downed her iced tea and dabbed at her mouth with a napkin.
"Ready?" she smiled, back to her usual self, looking down at Suzura. "We can dance while Syrus finish what he is doing, what you think? Maybe by time he is ready we can have a whole dance to show him!"
She giggled and glanced at Syrus slyly. She was teasing him, of course - but she just hoped he wouldn't take it the wrong way.

Syrus, of course, was used to both Suzura's and Api's teasing, and knew how to take it. He stuck out his tongue playfully, but said nothing, going back to what he was doing.
Suzura laughed a bit silently and stood up in a flash. 'Oh, we will have much more then just one dance done by the time he finally gets finished with what he is doing,' she joked.

Skye giggled and stuck her own tongue back out at Syrus, then giggled at Suzura.
"Let us go!" she laughed, pulling her sandals on once more and jumping off the blanket. "We can have lots fun while we wait for Syrus to be done!"
She turned back to face Suzura and, seeing that Syrus wasn't paying attention to them, she signed, 'What is he doing, anyways?'

'Being Syrus,' she replied with a smile, but of course went on to explain. 'He is just taking his time to get things cleaned up. He does not like to rush,' she said, and what she said was half true, but she also knew that he might be looking for something special that he had found in a shop for her.

'Oh,' Skye signed back with a smile. 'I see. Then maybe I should help clean things up ... he worked hard to make such a good meal, he should not have to clean it all up by himself.'
She looked back at him thoughtfully, then looked back at Suzura and nodded.
'Yes, I should help him,' she signed, nodding certainly. 'You have to warm up anyways and do stretches so that you do not hurt yourself when we dance. I will join you when everything is clean, all right?'
She smiled encouragingly.

Suzura sighed. If she said anything to stop Skye, it would ruin the surprise even more, so she just nodded and went to work on stretching herself.
