She laughed some. "How about we just feed them bread then, hm? I have yet to see a magikarp get angry about plain old bread."

"Thank god for that." he chuckled nervously, pulling his bag from his shoulder to pull out the bread.

Laughing, she moved to head down to a lower dock so that they could get a bit closer to the magikarp. It would be a lot easier that way, and a good way to get him closer to the water pokemon. Hopefully this would work out how she hoped it would.

Following after her, he forced himself to go on with bread in hand. Well, if he did manage to get himself eaten, there at least would be a witness to let the cops know so they could inform his parents.

Taking a deep breath he shoved most of his nervousness away. "I'm working on it." he chuckled lightly. He stepped carefully toward the edge, peering down into the waters below.
"As long as I've got you watching my back, no pokemon would dare try it."

"You're darn right!" she grinned, holding out her hand to take a piece of bread from him. "After today you won't have to fear magikarp at all!" Well... he should still be wary of them, at any rate.

Giving her some bread, he took the initiative of tossing in the first piece and watching as the Magikarp came bobbling to the surface.
Maybe it was that mindless look they had to them? The kind of eyes that signaled no sort of brain activity at all. There was just a deep, bottomless feel to them. Shuddering, he looked away.

Breaking the bread into small pieces, Aimi hummed as she tossed them in one by one, not seeming perturbed by the blank and mindless stare of the magikarp. In fact she seemed to exude an air of calm about her as she hummed, a happy smile on her face.

She wasn't just exuding calm, she was contagious. He found himself settling down and inched forward. Tossing another piece in, an impatient Magikarp made a jump for it.
"Nice." he chuckled.

Having felt him sit down next to her, Aimi giggled and watched him play with the magikarp. It wasn't all that bad to be around them. Well... Once you got past their mind-numbing stares. "Not bad."

A few of the other Magikarp were beginning to realize that the feisty one was getting all of their bread and were trying to get into he action. Some of them however, were blissfully unaware.
As close as he was, he didn't go any farther should he leave the safety of her side. Though, he had to say they were looking less and less harmful the more they milled about.
"They aren't little bloodsuckers after all..."

She laughed loudly, some of the less intelligent magikarp diving down into the water from fright. "No, they aren't bloodsuckers. Those are more Zubat and Goldbat." He was really quite adorable, she had to admit.

He flushed a bit in embarrassment as he tossed some more bread into the water. It had been quite silly to be afraid of them, but he still wouldn't truly enjoy them. He had just the luck that if he were to stick his hand into the water, a Magikarp with teeth would be in the vicinity and think his hand a tasty treat.
"Good. I'd much rather the Zubat and Golbat stick to that than the Magikarp." he chuckled. "After all. They're everywhere all the time."

Giggling a bit more, she shook her head and finished tossing in the bread pieces for the magikarp. "You're silly.. But really, do you feel a bit better now?"
