Daven closed the distance between him and Fiey with several shunpos to keep the pressure on.
He launched a series of attacks with his zanpakto, making sure that he was striking overhand, side ways and thrusting, staying close to her.. No more Meteor Hammer, no slap balls, no more punches, just straight attacks.
He increased the tempo of his attacks, getting faster and faster, seeming to strike from every angle possible. He used his skills in Capoeira to attack while flipping, while doing a cartwheel, flipping and hand springing. The advantage was that it was very very hard to anticipate where the attacks were coming from, much less what the next one would be. This was the big advantage of being the master of as many styles as he was. He could combine them in ways that made his opponents job much harder.
He finally worked himself around to a point where he was crouched below her, and he thrust ahead with his Kidorui Genso. He felt the tip impact and he called "Way of Destruction Number 4, White Lightning!" and while that flowed out of him, through the metal sword and into her, he immediately cast "Way of Binding number 1: RESTRAIN!"
He was working to give her too many disadvantages to overcome him. He knew that she was probably going to break these easily, but they would take time, take reiatsu and also leave her vulnerable for a little while as she did it. It's not necessary to kill a gnat with a shotgun, which is why he hadn't pulled out his bankai yet.

Feiy was really beginning to enjoy herself in her fight with Daven. She countered and attack as often as he countered her own moves. Moving when he did, their movements almost looking like a dance of body and blades.
It was quite graceful until Feiy had made her first true mistake. Not paying attention to what Daven had said after clashed blades, her body had instantly went numb before she could counteract. The situation became worse as she binded by his badou (thats the binding ones, right?). She struggled and fidgeted within the chains, flipping back to gain some distance as she increased her reiatsu to break the binding spell.

NOW!Daven lept after Fiey to keep the distance close as possible, he noted that she was starting to run, which put her on the defensive. He swung Kidorui Genso downward, calling "Split the Mountain!" His sword contacted some part of her body, but his reiatsu flowed out through the sword and into Fiey, multiplying her inertia by several thousand times. She was driven downward from the force of the blow, even though he didn't really hit her that hard. But the impact she would feel when she hit the ground would be painful enough. The fight was as good as over now, if that's all she had. [ 7/15 ] (( here's the specs on this special strike. Quote: Kiri Kuzusu! "To Split A Mountain" The Special Power is that it can actually split a mountain, but instead of being an energy wave that shoots like Ichigo's Crescent Moon Wave, it is focused on a point, where it is contacting the enemy. It hits and all the energy of the spirit pressure flows out and crushes the enemy, cleaving spirits, bone, matter, and all. At a full power strike, assuming the target survived, it would be driven into the ground better than 30 feet, with a resulting crater of about 60 feet in diameter. That crater is now a lake. It can be controled as to the amount of power. So far, it can only be used in a downward strike, either shoulder to groin or straight overhand. The fighting style with this form is very circular, very deceptive, capable of hitting from any direction on a whim. The entanglment weight can also cause the Kiri Kuzusu strike. ))

She finally broke the chains before Daven had reached her. He yelled out his attack with such power and ferocity that she was briefly taken aback, her body reacting on its own, as if it had known what was about to happen. Without her calling out her own attack, the rapier began to spin acting almost as it was a drill.
As soon as she was hit with the attack, her heart skipped a beat as the shtck of the shot of the attack hit her right hand, in which she involuntarily used to block. Her left hand gripped the spinning blade and drove it into the ground, drilling her down as Daven's attack pushed her.
"AUGH!" She screamed loudly as she snapped back to reality. Her reiatsu flared from the whole she made, erupting like a geyser. Her left glowed green as she dropped her rapier to mend her now broken hand. She couldn't heal it all the way since she was still in the fight.
"THAT'S IT! I WASN'T GOING TO DO IT BUT NOW YA PISSED ME OFF!" Her flaring reiatsu began to turn dark, threading itself with black and purple energy. It flared once again, out of the hole. In a mere second, she was behind Dave, using her shunpo a heavy amount of reiatsu amassed in her right hand. She aimed a palm thrust to Daven't back. "ETERNAL GALE!" Her voice distorted by her hollow energy. Her mask was on and she wasn't happy anymore.

((Forget editing posts... I'm posting now... Thanks Jan ^_^ I am stupidly excited. The gaia booth is playing spin the wheel of gaia for positions as beta testers!!! ))
Yuki was starting to feel the impact of the electric impulses. She backed off on her attacks to give her a moment to think about what exactly to do. And when she actually thought about it, she found it to be a relatively simple and smart idea. She backed off a considerable distance with a shunpo, enough to keep Jan off her for a second or two. That would be plenty of time.
By now her stomach was starting to cramp painfully, to nullify it she made a small line of riatsu from run from every point of her body, gathering the electricity as it went along. The riatsu she gathered into her finger, that jerked violently as all the electricity ran to it. She had to remind herself that this was the same kido she used all the time, only she was skipping a step.
"hadÅ #4, White Lightning."
She said, not careing if she could even shoot in a streight line at this point. The lightning went off to some random direction and all the electricity left her body, she suddenly felt rather still and her nerves calm. A brilliant idea, if she did say so herself. To use a kido that usualy made electricity, but rather than make it herself just direct it... Simply skip a step.
Yeah sure, Yuki took a breath of relief. Happy as hell that it actually worked. [4/15]

((Thanks, Daven.))
Huh... Such a simple solution. If I had attacked the same way I did to Feiy, she wouldn't have even been able to focus her reiatsu or say the name of the Kido. This does make things interesting, though! Jan spoke to Yuki with the air of a teacher challenging a student to excel at a test, not as an opponent in a potentially deadly battle. "I'm sure you've guessed at what happens when I connect, or when you manage to land a physical blow... How will you counter now? I've heard of you from Rhia, so I'd like to test something out on you..."
Taking his sparking Zanpakuto in both hands, Jan used a series of Shunpo to appear at Yuki's left side, slashing upwards at her chest. This is relatively simple, and as the former Captain of Squad 2, I'm sure she could see it coming, but that's the fun of it! She should know what will happen with any contact, and it looks like all she can do with that Shikai is send some heat waves at me... Surely there's more to it...

Daven was very grateful to see the "Split the Mountain" strike have such a powerful effect on Fiey, driving her into the ground, just as it was intended to do. He smiled a bit behind his men (Japanese armor mask) and relaxed a bit.
That was his mistake.
He had forgotten that she was a Vizard.
He saw and felt her reiatsu flow and explode out of the crater, and he knew that he was in some serious trouble.
When she appeared behind him, he knew that he was going to be hurting soon.
He did his best to minimize the damage that she did to him, but in the midst of twisting to block her strike, she hit him in the shoulder with her palm-strike, sending him flying across the arena. He felt pain in the shoulder, and if it wasn't broken, it was definitely injured. He could hear thing grinding in his left shoulder, and that worried him.
At least it wasn't my spine. Had that blow landed, I might be paralyzed right now. Thank the gods for small favors.
But when he saw her masked face, a surety of knowledge came over him. He knew that by pulling out her inner hollow, she had achieved the maximum she was capable of. Yes, right now it was more powerful than he was at, but he still had more than a few things he could do, or he wasn't a kitsune worth his tails.
He couldn't heal the damage, but he could move on past it.
He shifted the sword to his off hand and pulled out the Cry of Speed.
He had been spending a lot of time working on this technique. A lot of time in his personal training area. This was the first time he was going to actually use it in combat, and this was going to be interesting.
This technique did to punches what Flash Steps did to running feet. It multiplied the speed with which they could move at a thousand fold. Last time he used this in practice, he messed up his fists. But he also saw just how effective it was.
(( Yes, this is Yoruichi's "Flash Cry" technique. Give me a break, he's reinventing it here.... ))
His reiatsu built in his hands, arms, chest and back. Had he been wearing anything on his top, it would have been shredded by the sheer force of his spiritual pressure now. There was almost a force field around his hands and arms, and he knew he would pay for this later.
He looked up at Fiey from where he was at and knew the battle was about to be truly joined.
He shunpoed to near her and started attacking again. This time it wasn't with feet, it was with his hands, his arms, his elbows, his sword, his pommel, and the edge itself. Anything from the waist up was a potential weapon, and anything on Fiey's body was a potential target. His shoulder screamed in protest at the demands put on it, but he ignored the pain that was burning along his nerves for the greater goal of defeating his enemy and helping his partner. Perhaps if I can get this done fast enough, I can help her defeat Jan. But I can't afford to screw around with Fiey anymore.
His perceptions slowed. Anytime he started fighting at his peak, his perception of what was happening around seemed to crawl. People moved as though they were in honey or molasses, slow and with great exaggeration. He could anticipate what would happen by how they started to move, and a punch or kick was not likely to land since he could clearly see the start of it. From there it was a simple matter to move out of the way.
His strategy was simple; break her mask off her face. To that end, he started a series of attacks to hit her mask with this full force hits from his sword and his fists. And when her guard went up to block the assault high, he took whatever target presented itself on the rest of her body. Pressure points, nerve bundles, major bones, joints, tips of digits and toes, soft tissue like the gut or pelvis all became primary targets, to force her to drop her defenses so that her mask was vulnerable again. And once the mask was vulnerable, he attacked it again.
Thankfully he wasn't attacking or striking to kill. His blows when they landed were just under death blows. They would incapacitate, they would injure, they would hurt, but they wouldn't kill. He had far too much control for him to accidentally kill her.
But he could make her suffer. And now he didn't have to hold back.
Only about half the blows were hitting with the sword, the rest were hitting with his fists and he noticed that the field of reiatsu around his hands seemed to be deflecting some of the blows he was taking as she tried to mount an offensive. It was almost like his spiritual pressure became armor of a kind. And that was an interesting thought to file away for later contemplation.
He wanted her worried and scared. She had to know that she was facing the best Shinigami in the entire Sereitei right now.

Feiy was confused for a moment as she still maintained her composure from Daven's assault. She tried to block some of his attacks, but only seeing them for a second before she was hit somewhere else. In a moment of desperation, she increased her reiatsu around her body to lessen the damage. She knew that at his speed, she wouldn't really be able to dodge as she analyzed his movements to learn of his pattern. Near the end of his assault, she was beginning to dodge a few more.
She stepped back, pulling up her cracked mask from her face. She spat a bit of blood. She glared at him, her anger making her face flushed a deep red. Her hands glowed green as she quickly healed the injuries she sustained to where she can endure the pain. "Alright, so you want to play like that?" She said, tracing her fingers along the mask, the broken pieces of her mask were mended by her reiatsu. She sheathed her rapier as she put her mask back on.
Her reiatsu settled as she assumed a stance. This stance wasn't anything that could be recognized as it was constantly shifting between 4 different styles. Her reiatsu became visible, a translucent purple around her hands. She had an idea as to how this would work. Since he proficient enough at martial she knew an obvious weakness to most martial artists is that their own practice was only made to counter another. But if you constantly switched, they wouldn't know what to do. She would the monkey style to evade, the snake to move in quickly and launch a few speedy strikes, tiger to hit him when he left himself open, all the while using the gentle fist style to attack his body directly from the inside using her reiatsu manipulation. She had more than enough control over her energy to have it pass through his external body and attack his muscles and organs.
If this somehow didn't work, as she swooped in with her excellent speed and grace, she still had one more technique up her sleeve, or was that sixteen? (lol, clue)
((Damn you and your ability to know that move of yours, I thought I had the complete advantage here, lol))

The shift in the back and forth in the fight had Daven off balance for just a bit, but he recovered. He was still defending himself, blocking and striking, but he started taking more and more hits.
Am I slowing down? Or has she gotten faster? The answer to that question would be of critical importance.
At one point she hit him particularly well in the chest and he jumped back and coughed up some blood. Damnit... I'm going to have to change my tactics. s**t!
He dropped back to an extreme Kung Fu he learned centuries ago. His stance shifted so his left leg was behind him, the right leg was bent and his arms came up parallel to each other. To a casual observer, he looked like a Praying Mantis. And he stood there, not moving.
Mantis Kung Fu didn't have any offensive moves. They were all defensive. There were strikes, but they were only in response to someone's attack on him. But there were only four levels of response; Humiliate, Injure, Cripple and Kill. He put himself in the mental mindset to allow himself to Cripple her, he had to disengage soon.
As Fiey came at him again, he countered and responded, feeling bones snap. He knew she had the ability to heal herself from some of these strikes so he would have to do more damage than he wanted to. Punches came in, and his face countered, taking the strike on his forehead, breaking her knuckles, she kicked at him and his stance shifted, his foot coming down on her kneecap, shattering it.
He was wearing out and he was tiring a lot. This was going to have to finish this.
He moved around and got behind her and attacked her other leg. He stomped on the back of her good knee, bringing her down. She couldn't support herself on her broken knee, and with all his weight pinning her other leg to the ground, she wasn't going anyplace.
His right hand whipped out and grabbed her chin and pulled her head back against him, exposing her neck. His other hand, which still held Kidorui Genso in it, laid the edge against her carotid artery and across her windpipe. He said one word.
"Surrender."

((I know. I still have my Cardinal Eight to use.))
The amount of expletives she yelled to Daven was stunning, as one wouldn't know her stellar vocabulary concerning it. She calmed down, still fidgeting to make him think she wasn't giving up. She tallied up that her knuckles and wrist on her left hand were shattered along with her left knee. She inched her hand slowly for him to not notice. Her hand glowed a translucent green as she slowly healed herself. She took care to not heal too fast as her reiatsu would become noticeable.
"Screw you, Daven. A Boelba does not back down, no matter the circumstances. Cardinal Winds: Eight Degrees of Gales!" She risked it, but she didn't care. She knew already that this shinigami didn't have the intent to kill her, even though she was felon; a rogue; a killer. That would be his mistake. She moved her right hand, making it seem like she twitched, the wind blowing past them hard, as got a hold of the back of her rapier, jostling it off the latch. As soon as it was released from the latch, the bladed part of her rapier fell apart into eight shards. She stopped moving her hand.
"Cardinal Winds: Second Degree- Fangs of Nidhogg" She whispered quietly. The shards flew away and then ascended from above as they went for her back. "I'd suggest you to move..." She said, a small crack could be seen on her mask.

DAMNIT!!!
Daven saw the shards collecting in the corner of his eyes, and he shifted. He moved around to place the front of his body in front of her, placing her body in between him and the shards.
"Way of Binding, 65, Sticky Hands." Having his hands on her meant that he could anticipate her now, it wasn't a guarantee he would win, but at least he could know what she was going to do by how her body language shifted.
He dragged Kidorui Genso across her neck.

Now that she healed enough to move around again, her hands shifted along the ground. The ground opened up wide as they both fell in. Hmm, sticky hands, eh? Then he must be stuck then, what an idiot. She thought, not really knowing much about kidou. She shifted her body as to where she was under his sword arm. Now that her hands were free of holding weapons, she had more freedom. Purple energy amassed into her left as wind encircled her right. "ESCOPETA! ETERNAL GALE!" She fired both of her attacks at point blank range.
