Because Asuaki and Gogyou are in sync he can wield it like it is lighter than air.
Asukai can make trails of water follow Gogyou's edge around making the slices extra long and hard. The water trails can also be shot about like bullets through foes.
Water clones
Gogyou can break apart at the hilt and rejoin, small dagger inside) (held together by raitsu)
Raitsu "Wave" (a slash like thing from the tip of blade)
"Taifuu" Typhoon (Asukai spins Gogyou around making a giant vortex that rips surrounding enemies to shreds)
"Junsai" Water shield (Surrounds Asukai in Ice, which he can the shoot back at enemies)

Role Play Sample: Kai walked into empty field wondering what will happen to him on this new day. As he wandered around a low-leveled hollow appeared and fell from the sky. Kai looked up as he saw the hollow coming towards him. "A hollow, here?" He didn't understood how a hollow got here, but he decided he'll have to get rid of it. Unsheathing his zanpakuto and holding it in his right hand he went into an offensive stance. Running towards the hollow, Kai kept his sword down for an upper strike. When he reached the hollow, he brought up his sword and slashed at a high upward slash hopefully ridding the hollow. The hollow tried to block with its arm, but its arm was instead chopped off. The hollow roared at its bleeding remain of an arm and tried to punch with its left arm that wasn't hurt. Kai blocked with his blade, but was pushed back a bit. Putting his left hand on the blade of his sword, he started to walk forward and started to push through the knuckles and fist of the hollow, slashing into it and breaking it down to the elbow. The hollow bled and roared at the pain. Kai now taking the moment, slashed at the mask and down with a high downward slash, breaking and destroying the hollow. "How did the hollow get here?" Kai asked himself and turned around to start leaving.

Shikai: The first release for this zanpakuto is that of the blade disappear turning into golden feathers. It is very similar to the first of captain Kuchiki and that the pink petals in his are the golden feathers in Yoh's shikai. It is better for the golden feathers because they may be able to form small objects such as stepping stones for the user to walk on into the air or many other things. The golden feathers are sharp and are able to slice through everything except diamond. They are small blades that have the potential to kill someone in one hit if hitting the heart.
