Vasu smiled softly, and shut his eyes, laying a kiss on Cedric's cheek as he snuggled up against him, nuzzling his chest in sleep affection. "Thank you, Cedric..." he whispered, and was silent thereafter, gradually drifting into a sound, much-needed sleep.

Cedric smiled and drifted off to sleep, warmed by the feeling of Vasu's body beside his.

The next morning, the princling awoke, blinking and yawning.

Vasu lay curled up at his side, still very much asleep. The angel was curled up, looking a little chilled, through not horribly discomforted. His wings were wrapped around himself, as much as possible. The clothes he was wearing weren't exactly the best for sleeping blanketless with, but he was used to it. He remained in his snoozy state, even as Cedric strirred beside him.

When the larger angel noticed his companion's discomfort, he smiled lovingly, and slowly shifted away and off of the bed. There was an antique chest at the foot of the large bed, and from it he drew a large quilt. Moving back to Vasu, he covered the angel gently, and then lay back down beside him.

At this, Vasu finally roused, and blinked blearily before focusing on Cedric, giving a shy smile, pulling the quilt about himself as he yawned. "Good morning..." he said softly, and scooted over to Cedric to kiss him quickly on the chin, wrapping the quilt around them both as he did so.

"Good morning." Was the quiet reply, paired with a chuckle. "Did you sleep well?" He snuggled up against Vasu, taking in the sight of the sleepy angel with delight.

Though he still looked drowsy, Vasu had gotten a very nice rest. It had been completely free of odd dreams or bad nightmares...perfectly undisturbed. "Very well..." he said, and nuzzled softly. "How about you?" he asked, and glanced about, looking toward the window.

"I slept perfectly." He smiled, draping an arm over Vasu's waist under the quilt, pulling the angel towards him slightly. "Is there anything you'd like to do today?"

"Mmmm..." Vasu smirked, and wrapped his arms about Cedric. He wouldn't have minded just lying in bed with him all day, but he knew that wouldn't do. "What do you usually do?" he asked curiously, and sat up, giving a big stretch. If all else failed, they could always go out to fly.

The angel pushed himself up so that he was resting against the headboard, watching Vasu. "Quite honestly? I usually stay here, or go to the shop. But...perhaps we could do some exploring. There's bound to be something to do around here." He folded his arms over his chest.

Vasu rested his head in the other angel's lap, arms wrapped around his waist now, as he pulled himself up. He gave a playful smirk, his wings ruffling lightly as he stretched them out. "That's no fun....we should definitely do some exploring." he said, nuzzling Cedric's belly.

"Of course, I'm tempted just to spend the day in bed with you." He ran his fingers through the long red hair, smiling at Vasu. "But that would be terribly lazy, I suppose." Still! Tempting!

Vasu chuckled, his middle set of wings flopped over limp on either side of him, folding as he moved to sit next to Cedric. "We could go out to the woods near my caretaker's house. They're quite nice, during the day at least." he said, smiling.

"That sounds enjoyable. I haven't been out in nature as much as I ought to be since I arrived here." Of course, when he had been back in Alar, there was nothing but nature, besides the castle, and Cedric had always adored riding on horseback through it. "We could pack some food and go exploring there." An arm was draped around the angel's shoulders.

"Yeah, it'll be great!" Vasu smiled widely as he stretched again, and moved to get up, sliding out from under the quilt and pulled his scarf on, leaving it lowered from his face. "I'll help get the food ready!" he said, looking quite cheerful.
