oblivion852 Hey Kyrenx What if someone used action replay in the tournament? If the person's Pokemon(s) are hacked beyond fairness and/or any suspicion arises of any such allegation, then I will ask to inspect the Pokemon and make a judgment call on what to do from there. Depending on the severity, I will either ask you to not to use the poke anymore or force an automatic forfeit and ban the person from future tournaments held by yours truly. I know of quite a few people who use the action reply (even though I don't condole such actions personally), but as long as no one has messed with the IVs (IE: has maxed stats), or has any moves/abilities the Pokemon should not normally have via use of AR codes or even Pokesav, it doesn't bother me. So those entering into the tournament are doing so on the honor system, but I will step in and fix/remove any problems if any do arise.

How would you inspect the pokemon? Would you ask them to trade the pokemon to you or what?

I'm just glad there arn't any of those super-garchomps in this tournament. I can tell they're hacked, as "legit" as they might be. Other than the fact it can deat all my pokemon with outrage with one hit, it's faster than my Dragon Dance gyarados. Now, one person with this pokemon might just be a really good Garchomp, but, a series of them and one person admits it's hacked, that's fishy if you ask me. Creating pokemon like that takes the fun right out of it. I traded all my pokemon from scratch.

So like leveling up the pokemon with ar naturally with like rare candies is okay. But like makeing a pokemon having 999 defence is not right?

^_^ I am happy to have trained my ghosties from scratch... I don't like using pokemon that I get from trades because I have no idea what was put into making them... I like taking pride that I bred them, raised them, and leveled them up... And it makes me very happy to see them do well in battles against other peeps.

Yes, pokemon that were leveled are perfect, but, if it was created by some unnatural means, then they are illegal.
That's why I hate lv 100 pokemon. You can't train them your way. I can wipe out a pokemon's EVs when I get it from a trade, but, it if's a super high level, there's nothing I can do with it.

@ Luther - Although I do use some pokes (1 in 10 at best) I've obtained in trades, I've still trained every single one of them from scratch and put tons of hours into perfecting them, breeding them to my liking (IVs, Hidden Powers, etc) and just someone using AR to just cheat with a Wondertomb just annoys me like no other.
@ Sateru - I'd inspect them via a trade and looking up the summary of each of the pokes. There are plenty of ways to tell if something is hacked.
@ Oblivion - Leveling up with Rare candies is fine. It's stat/move/ability tweaking that I loath.
