the chins are pretty calm, but after a minute they tend to jump around and from me to my fiancee. Yeah, I tend to be attracted to fluffy things :p

Geordi is actually pretty easy to care for, we put him in a 5.5 Gallon Aquarium. That way he has room to move around, but everything is still all close so that he can always smell where his water and food and treats are. Like I said, he still runs on his wheel and moves in a ball. Though I was talking to the vet who originally saw him, and I was told that he might be able to make out light/dark or shapes. But we won't really know. sad

Winnowill: Wow. You have a lot of animals. That's great. smile I love your chinchillas. They're so cute. Makes me want to get another chin. 3nodding I love this one on petfinder.com and I want to adopt him so bad.

That, or he was just tired "from party-ing all day instead of sleeping". 'Cause the other night I took him out when my grandparents were over, and he sat there really calm for about half an hour. I could even let go of him.

I can--in a way--see why they're made into coats. Only 'cause of their fur.
But it's still really cruel. I mean, they have personalities, and look much cuter in 3-D, wrapped around their own body, rather than in 2-D wrapped around someone in the form of a coat.

Chins calm down sometimes, they really like schedules as well, ours expect to be taken out and snuggled with every night at about midnight. smile

All my babies are special to me, I think this will be my limit for now though smile

I wish I could take him out more, but he gets excited when he sees his cage. (He loves his cage. XD)
So I wish I could take him out of the room, and/or let him run around, but my friggin' dog thinks he's a squirrel, so....

The only way I can take him out of "his" room is if I hide him under a blanket and make a fort out of pillows on the couch, and put the recliners out... and hope the dog doesn't notice.
(She's a bossy dog. If you put her out for longer than she wants, she barks a lot. Until you let her in....)
