Avalon smiled at Krin. She saw the smile on his face and knew that she was right, she could usually peg people and their personalities after listening to them for a little while. Using her own mischevious smile, she stepped forward, closing the little gap between them. They were literally centimeters apart. Her lips were close to his and she was still smiling. Her grip on his hand tightened and again she smiled, her teeth gleamed in the moon light.
"This is for not answering me before...." Avalon said shortly after twisting his arm and flipping him over onto his back.
Avalon got on top of him and smiled again.
"You seem like a decent person but that little habit of yours could get you in a lot of trouble."

Krin lay on his back as his hand slid into his jacket. he looked directly into her eyes his grin still plastered across his face " You where worth meeting." he said he reached his right hand out to touch her face, not expecting to. "But you just stepped over the line Avalon." He was on his feet so quickly it was inhuman. He stood about two feet away he held a jagged dagger in his left hand. by the look on his face it was impossible to tell what he was thinking. "I do what I want and rarely what I'm told and I have yet to get in any real trouble." he said holding the dagger aloft hoping to have some fun.

Dimtri pulled into the bar parking lot. Him and his squad got out and walked in, they sat down, ordered drinks and some chicken wings and started talking abit. The subjects ranged from the way to what they had used to do and what they were going to do after the war, if there was a after the war.It was a possabality most accepted, that the war wouldn't end. Some thought it would...once every bit of natural resorces were depleted and the countries could no longer make weapons, armor, veichiles, and possably no longer make experimental soliders.

Avalon smiled, getting up and brushing off the dust that was clinging onto her cloak. She half smirked, half smiled at him. Her hand found the holster that held her throwing knives in them and she pulled out a couple, the rested in between her knuckles and looked deadly sharp. They were polished brightly and on the hilt, there was a golden owl encrusted there.
"Keep saying that Krin, maybe you'll jinx yourself one day and get into a load of trouble....then again maybe you won't, who knows?" Avalon smiled brightly.
Avalon walked forward again, getting close to Krin but not as she had before. She placed her hand over his, the one holding the dagger and moved it so it was inches from her mouth. She licked the dagger, obviously on the blunt edge and put it back in his sheath.
"How about we get out of here and go to the bar in town? It's a little to dank around here and I need to pick up feed for my owl anyway."

Krin smiled and let her sheath his dagger. He liked her mainly for the fact she didn't cower or try to flee on top of the fact she had guts and Krin had long awaited the meeting of someone like her. "There are only four people that I have to listen to and only two I respect. Anyway your right lets get out of here." he said and began walking. he wondered if Avalon would trust him to fly them as it was much quicker than walking. He figured he might as well ask. Turning to face Avalon he said "I could fly faster than walking." he posed his question as a statement not quite sure how to say it since he had never been nice to anyone.

Avalon walked backwards, she was still able to avoid objects that might have tripped her and talk to Krin at the same time.
"Well, I've never been flying before....as long as you don't drop me I suppose I'll be okay with it." Avalon smiled, stopping in her tracks.
To be honest, she didn't know what to expect with him. She had to basically trust him...and that was a hard thing to do with other people. She didn't trust anyone except Zroa and he wasn't even a human.
"Just promise you won't drop me though..." Avalon couldn't help but add that in at the end.

Krin watched her back away. "I won't drop you." he said looking her in the eye. He flapped his wings and he lifted off the ground then swooped over and picked Avalon off her feet. "I promise I will not drop you no matter what." he said reassuring her. he flew higher so they where gliding over the rooftops.He looked down at Avalon "What do you think?" he asked.

Avalon smiled, but it wasn't like her other smiles, ones that didn't mean anything. She had never seen the town like this before, the rooftops and the lights that seemed to wink at her. It was all new, exciting, and in a way, frightening. It would be quite a fall if they did fall and she didn't know if she'd be able to walk away alive if that were to happen.
"I...I don't know what to think....there are so many things that I want to say but I can't get it out......this is what you do? Everyday? I would never get sick of this." Avalon smiled, it was genuine.
She felt as if she was young again. Where she didn't have to worry about anything and life was simple and easy. She liked the feeling. Avalon didn't every think she'd feel that way again and Krin seemed to spark that in her. It made her all the more curious about him.

Krin smiled he was happy. "Yes I do this every day, I can't remember a time without." he said looking down at the seine below. "If you look over there you can see where I live, The tall building by the palace" he said adding the last part so he didn't have to point. He was taking the slightly longer way to the bar, He was enjoying this flight.

Avalon looked where he had pointed out and gawked at the building. She didn't remember when she hadn't lived in the shack just outside the town border but she liked it. The place was secluded and no one bothered her. Now that she saw what she had been missing out on, she was having second thoughts.
"It looks like a nice place....why do you live so close to the palace? Do you work for them or something?" Avalon said the last bit with a bit of venom in her voice, she didn't really liked the king because he wasn't exactly kind, and she usually did jobs that worked against him so she grew up with that sort of mind set.

Krin sensed the dislike but figured it was best to tell her the truth "Well what your looking at is the Lab where they conduct experiments but I live there I think I am one of only two that live there voluntarily." He paused not sure how to phrase his next response "I am the King's top spy and information collector." He sounded kind of uneasy about this statement. He wasn't sure how far he should go. Hoping she wouldn't freak out on him.

Avalon's heart felt like it had stopped. Her blood ran cold in her veins and her eyes widened. He was a spy and information collector? Could the king possibly know about who she was? Was this his way of telling her that her days were numbered? So many questions, like the ones she just thought of were buzzing around in her head. She should have known better....her whole life she had been cautious of who she talked to and who she got close to...why had this been any different? Could it have been that she had been alone for so long that she wanted to meet someone....anyone?
"Tell me...did the king send you to try and get rid of me?" Avalon's voice sounded cold and distant, in reality she just wanted to run. She wanted to run, run far away and never come back. One day she'd get even with the king once and for all.
"I swear....if you lie to me...." Avalon couldn't finish her sentence, she didn't know what she would do, rather she didn't know what she was capable of.

Krin's heart sank suddenly he wondered if he should have said anything at all. He was determined to keep the only person he had found similar to him. He was going to tell her all he needed to. Keeping a calm voice he said "No I was not sent to get rid of you. I was sent out to this area to find out about a scientist who was doing things he shouldn't." He paused then trying to reassure her he added "If I was sent to kill you I would have dropped you already." he looked at her trying to hide emotion but having a hard time for the first time in his life.
