When Des was grabbed by the neck with the thieves arm, as Des had realised he wasn't someone of the bum kind, and when the blade tipped Des's jaw, he thought about something to say that wouldn't get him killed. Des took a small time to talk and said "Well most likely here for the thing on the table, but seeing who you are, I don't want it any more"

"Well now...thats now a very nice way to greet the man who could have saved your life" Riley commented with a grin. "Also, two more questions. One, do you want any help with those bandages, and two, do you need somewhere to stay?" he asked casually, looking back over his shoulder at the warehouse. Dimly, he could see two figures standing at the window. Using his hands, Riley motioned that it was alright and there was nothing to worry about. Both figures disappeared soon after and he turned back. "Those where my friends, got a bit spooked from you dropping your dagger, its usually quiet around here" he explained.

Kira started to slip out from behind the crate. she was moving as quiet as a mouse, and was twice as cautious. she kept her glance at Des, Delaney, and Riley as she did so. she was careful in her steps.

The blade slowly slide back and Dimitri released his grip, he moved swift and stood between the intruder and the table. "since you have no business then leave...I've killed once to night and I don't have any qual making it twice in a night" he said, his voice low.

When Des was let go he found his chance to grab the package, but he had his own thing, that he would never rob another thieve. Des thoguht where he was going to go next, he couldn't go back as that could lead to a fight and staying here would help, as he left he saw a Inn and thoguht it was a good place to stay the night.
Des walked in and the place had only one other person in the room and the bartender, Des walked over to the Inn owner and asked "Do you have any open rooms?" and the bartender replied"Well of course i do, nice and cheap"Des took out a bag and passed it to the owner and meed his way upstairs to go to sleep.

Could have saved your life. Those words stung. Delaney would like to think that she was perfectly capable of taking care of herself. Maybe she wasn't as good at this life as she thought. Maybe she wasn't used to it. But it was moments like this where she thought that having an ally might not be so bad....
Offering him her arm to him, she kept her face relatively stoic and devoid of emotion. She just looked blank. This was common when she was deep in thought. Am I okay? Do I need somewhere to stay? Her thoughts so consuming, battling for answers, she barely heard any mention of his friends.
"I'm Delaney," she spoke suddenly. "I'll stay with you tonight."

Sky hated it. All her life she had read about knights and white horses and now she was marrying a pig. God, he must've been twice her age. He was fat, and had multiple chins, and she simply would not marry him. She heard a noise in the hall and froze. There was only one candle lit in her bedroom, no one should think it strange but now that she was planning to run away every little sound made her jump. She listens, but there was no sound. She took a breath and started moving again shoving more clothes into her bag. She thought for a minute. She would need a cloak, they always had cloaks in the stories. She finished packing her bag and slung it over her shoulder. Going to her wardrobe she shelved in fancy dress aside and found the green cloak she had used last winter. she tucked her money bag down the front of her dress as the woman in one of her stories had once done and that the cloak around her shoulders. taking up the candle she crept to the door. She slid along the sleeping corridors as quietly as she could until she reached the kitchen. As quickly and quietly as she could she made a bundle of bread cheese and wine, and tucked it into her bag. From there she tiptoed out the kitchen door and into the night. She felt free, wonderful, exhilarated even. This was going to be an adventure just like the ones in her books. She almost giggled then remembered that she had to be quiet and snuck off around the corner.

Riley took the arm. "Riley O'Toole" he introduced himself. "Alright, follow me. But first, promise me this. You will never, EVER, tell anyone how to get in here, or what you see. The secret it was keeps us alive" he said in a serious tone. He led her up to the warehouse, tugging on the rope to bring down the stairs. By now, Melanie had gone to sleep but Jack had stayed awake. "Who's she?" he asked conversationally. "Just a girl, who nearly got stabbed for no reason" Riley said, looking to Delaney. "Pick a place to sleep, theres a couple empty cots here and there. If you need anything, the three most helpful people are me, Melanie who sleeps there, in the corner-" he indicated a dark-haired girl sleeping in a hammock in the corner. "And Oliver, over there" he finished, pointing at a kid asleep against what used to be a brick wall but was now just a few bricks forming part of it. "If you need me, I'm under the only window that still has glass in it" he added.

Feyth made his way silently thought the allies he stuck to the shadows for even more concealment. He wanted to reach his hideout quickly. He had just finished a job and didn't want others trying to take what was his now. every time he spotted someone he crouched in the shadows. Off and on he would cross rooftops as a quicker way. he slipped past a shabby inn slinked past many buildings with lights on and suddenly halted, he had heard a noise he looked around for anything that could have made a noise. He saw nothing but knew that something was there. cautiously he griped his katana and took a step towards where the sound had come from, prepared for anything. A black dog walked out from behind a trash can and turned it's head to look at him. He sighed walking over to the dog he gave it a pat on the head it waged it's tail. turning he continued down the ally. coming to a dark shabby looking shack he glanced around him seeing nothing other than the black dog which had followed him, he walked though the door. The dog tagged along.

Sky stumbled down a flight of steps skinning her knees at the bottom. "OW." she complained she complained, blowing on them in an attempt to lessen the pain. this was just a bit harder then she had thought. Sneaking away from home in the middle of the night sounded romantic enough, but now she didn't have anywhere to go. She didn't have to leave the city but she definitely had to get to a part of it her parents wouldn't think to look. It was lucky that they had reputations to uphold, they wouldn't tell anyone she had run away unless it was to save their own hides. She had made her choice she was never going back, and that meant she was on her own.

Tried as he did Dimitri couldn`t get back to sleep. He unwrapped the parcel, it was a simple sword in it`s plain sheth. he attached it to his belt and left via the hole in the roof he had used to enter. He roamed around the roof tops of the city moving silently. He stopped on a roof top, seeing a young lady who seemed to be attending to a wound. She was to well dressed and beutiful to be from the streets so perhaps some nobels lost daughter...she did`n`t seemed distressed or confused or anything a lost person would be. maybe...she`s...running away? he thought questioning himself. Dimitri`s chivious side took over him. He dropped down and moved throught some alleyways he came out onto the same street as the girl his hood back and mask down, hiis dark brown hair dropped down, he began to whistle casually to himself and walked past the girl, stooped whistling and turned around, "Excuse me miss...are you ok?" he asked seeming generaly concerned, which he was.

Konokti arched an eyebrow at the man and wiped his hand across his mouth, removing the trickle of blood from his split lip. "You really shouldn't have done that," The words rumbled out in a voice that sounded rarely used. Standing up, Konokti cracked his knuckles; the man who'd punched him backed away, but still glared defiantly.
"You was hitting on my woman." The other man said. Shaking his head, Konokti sighed. He'd known this wasn't exactly the best part of town, but still, he hadn't expected to get into a fight based on where he decided to sit. Konokti grabbed the chair he'd been sitting on and swung it like a bat, hitting the stupid fellow in the waist, sending him crashing through the badly-built wall. Konokti was almost disapointed when he didn't get up again. The seedy little tavern went quiet for a few minutes, then the conversation picked back up as if nothing had happened. Konokti, bored again, quit the building and headed out into the streets.

A man passed, whistling to himself as Sky sat in the street. "Excuse me miss...are you ok?" he asked her. She turned where she sat smiling up at him. "Oh, yes, I'm all right really." She got to her feet dusting off her skirts. "Only, you see I don't have anywhere to stay for the night. I would be ever so thankful if you could perhaps, lead me to a suitable inn? I'm afraid I've lost my way in the darkness. If I had a guide I am sure I would be much more comfortable." she smiled up at him, tucking a stray lock of hair behind one of her ears.

"i'd be happy too show you to the nearest inn" Dimitri said and smiled kindly. He turned and began to walk with her following. "So what's a lovely young lady such as yourself doing in a rough area like this...if I may ask" He said being as polite as he could.
