 Cinder sniffed the air there was so many new wolves showing up and she laid out on the rocks and whined.. so far she was the only pup and she was frightened of all the new comers. She picked herself up and trotted off to where River was for protection

River smiled at the two behind her nattering away and as she reached where cinder and Ren were she was happy to see Cinder run over to her. licking at her head she smiled and turned to Ren. she had a liking for that femme and would talk to her later at some point.
The scent of Diego suddenly hit her and her ears perked up and tail wagged. It was time the pack stayed together for a while. She wanted everyone in the cave. there she could talk to them all at the same time, however before she said about it she would have to talk to Diego. She couldn't live without the ranks and they, well she wanted betas. If they were mates it would be good but if not either way. She wanted some sort of security, however no omegas or wolves run down. That was a good idea.
"Everyone, I would like it if you could go into the cave! Cinder, can you show Inazuma and Koenshan to the cave please.. I will meet you there in a minute!" She nuzzled the pup before trotting over to Ren. She wanted to get to know her better.

The squirrels nose twiched, and it darted forward through the trees, scambering branch to branch, so much that it even caused little tips to fall off. Diego hhheeerrreee! His mind squealed, and soon it was running on the ground and dashing towards the colorfull wolf, leaping to scurrie up his shoulder, chittering madly.

 A tentative smile touched his eyes and he "whuph"ed softly. "Thank you." The she-wolf's words managed to pacify a fraction of his fears somehow, and Koenshan was grateful for that. Still it embarrased him a little. Speaking with females had never been easy for him, and here he was... the only wolves he had met since the destuction of everything he knew were all females. Except for that one male he had caught the scent of before running into River; smelled but never seen.
As if on cue to his thoughts, the male's scent drifted to Koenshan's sensitive nose. His head jerked up & hackles raised, suddenly alert, watching for the other's reactions. River had been nuzzling a small cub and looked at another female as she seemed to notice something. He behavior changed, and Koenshan could only ascertain it was because of the scent of the incoming male. Otherwise her demeanor would have changed as she looked at the other female, not while. With the cheery lilt of her ears & happily wagging tail Koen's own hackles relaxed. If River was unworried it was not only unwise for him to be on edge but rude as well. After all, he was her guest. He nodded at Ren & Cinder as River gave her orders. Obediently he headed towards the cave after the cub. That alone felt wierd, but it was what River wanted. If that meant follow a cub, he would follow a cub. Absently he hoped that was not what he'd be getting himself into if they allowed him into the pack.
A small scutter of leaves moved in the direction of the approaching male. Something so tiny Koenshan could not see it. However he had to suppress the instinct to chase after it and wondered if it could be some type of small prey. His eyes widened at the thought even as he strained to follow it's path. But what would posses prey to run towards a wolf?!?

 She smiled to the green wolf beside her as he seemed to relax, though just a little. "no problem" Hearing River's words she turned to the alpha infront of her, giving a nod she gazed down at the pup. This alpha must put a lot of trust into them, normally a would wouldnt leave a pup to be alone with new commers, but she herself ment no harm to anyone here. Setting off at a slow pace so as to not pass the pup, padding softly towards the cave River had spoken about. The faint sent of another male caught her nose. Could it be another rouge? or was this the Deigo that River had mentioned. Gazing over towards the alpha, she guessed by her posture that it was in ded Diago. Turning back towards the pup she continued on her way.

 Diego steped high with a slight trot to his step, his maw was spread into a wide smile. It was great to be home. His ears suddenly flicked as he heard the squirrel charging at him from a distance. "FUZZY!" His tail wagged and he pranced around much like a young pup. "I haven't seen you in the longest time! I thought something bad happened to you!" Bending down he pressed his nose into the little Squirrels chest and nuzzled his chest fur like an old friend would. He was so caught up in his little friend that he barely noticed the pack giving him weird faces. He just grinned and chuckled. "This is Fuzzy- he's been a long time friend of mine..." He chuckled again and rolled over on his back batting lighty at his little friend with his huge paws.

Inoki, aka Fuzzy wuld have gave the wolf a friendly gnaw on an ear, but the blue wolf was much larger now, and he culdent just clamber up easly, especialy as to him, wolves were quite unstable and moved all the time. And thanks to his larger size, he was almost sent backwards by one breath. "Eeer! >3 " He squealed when paws came at him and the alpha lay on its back, but instead of alloing himself to be sent back, jumped on the wolfs left paw, sticking a pose toshow he was still kickin', before needing to jump to the right one as to not loose his hight, and fall with risk of the rainbow one rolling over and not seeing him.
"Queescree <3 " Fuzzy squealed with a nos, then jumped to the ground, though ahead of his nose, so if he rolled, it'd be to the side, and not on him.

The large rainbow wolf was in complete extacy(sp) as he played with his friend. So long he had waited to just be carefree and happy like this. His whole life up until this point had been nothing but hardship and pain. Oh how many times under Riecher did he just want to be a pup- or himself. His life had been nothing but fear and scars. But now with River his loving mate at his side. And Fuzzy his loyal squirrel friend things were finally changing for him. Even with the truth of his parents loss he couldn't help to feel happy. Prehaps it was selfish but for once he was actully thinking of himself and not worring about what others thought. It was kind of a warm and fuzzy feeling to know he had complete control of his own destiny.
With his eyes flicking about to his pack, he'd try to make the best possible lives for them as well. They deserved it! No wolf should be punished like he had. If they all perished from being happy then so be it. At least he would have felt that he completed something useful in his life.
As his eyes wandered back to the Squirrel that chittered about him he couldn't feel more then happy. As if part of his goal for all creatures in his pack to live in harmony with one another. Although it was true that they still ate other creatures- there hunting wouldn't not just be for the kill. He'd make sure that everything was eatten and if not it would go to the hungry lone animals like foxes that wandered about. Nothing wasted nothing wanted. That was his goal; and to everyone else it might have been impossible but Diego was a dreamer and felt that with just alittle work on everyones part they could all live happily ever after.
With a slighty laugh he yipped like a pup and licked the squirrel with one of the biggest kisses he could muster. And though his mouth was now completly full of fur almost like a shag carpet nothing could ruin his mood. Today was one of the best days in his life.

Again size got the best of the squirrel. The lick almost picked him of the ground, but he knew Diego sense the wolf had been a pup, even though he had passed most of the wolfs life away, He knewDiego wuldent eat him or harm him, not on purpouse, never. He didn't even mind the wolves in the background, he felt totally safe with Diego, especially now that he seemed somewhat more.. High in rank. Of course the rodent didn't know much about wolf ranks, but when he had seen the rainbow wolf, he had noticed his head was higher,and the others, save River, lower. Maybe he was one of those so called 'alpha''s? =0
With a squeak, the squirrel scrambled around Diego as if to try and play a game, even giving a tug on the tail to give Diego the idea that he did want to play, just like they had when they met. Odd how he wasent even much disturbed with Diego's size, he was the luvable goof pup, no matter what. <3

The big wolf flicked his tail about as fuzzy pulled on it, and although he was trying his hardest not to squash his little friend, he himself was wreckless and it took all his might not to roll over at the wrong moment. Chittering playfully like he used to do when he was much younger began to talk almost like he knew what he was saying it squrrial. It was a real shame that he couldn't really speak to his friend like he wanted. But he could somewhat figure out what the other ment threw body language- and he figured the same was true the other way around.
Oh how silly he must have looked rolling about with his squirrel friend. He had never heard of a wolf let alone an alpha that kept a squirrel for a pet. Oh well what did he care? He was probally the alpha of the first pack based on friendship and love and not fear either. At least everyone would know they were safe here. He grinned ad he lighty nipped at the Squirrels tail; but at the same time was careful not to hurt the other for he knew with his size that he could hurt his little friend beyond help. He sighed not wanting that at all, Fuzzy was his first and only friend for the longest time. He was the one that really stayed with him his whole life. Even when he was with Reicher his little friend stayed with him. In some sence he really owed Fuzzy his life for helping him emotionally. Diego didn't mind thought in all sences of the word, Fuzzy was worth evey ounce of it.

River watched Diego with the squirrel and sighed. Now was not the time to talk to Diego so ren was who she went to and sat by. "You ok there?" She smiled like she normally did, something that barely left her face. "You want to come in the cave? I have an announcement that may benefit you!" She wouldn't push the femme as she knew that Ren wasn't one to be pushed around and as her first view of Diego will be playing with a Squirrel, it probably wasn't best. She sighed however, walked over to Diego and licked at his maw quickly. "Everyone is going into the cave. Join us when you wish." She smiled at him and left as quickly as she had got to him. He was busy being a pup again. Something she had lost when becoming an alpha, her old childish behaviour had been pushed down.

Stopping mid stride Koenshan could only stare at the remarkably colored wolf. It was not his flame-like rainbow markings, it was not the casual way River went to him & licked him. It was what he was doing. In his stunned state Koen could do little more than whisper incredulously. "Is he playing with a squirrel?!?"
He could not move, he could not think. It was as if his mind had just gone pop from too many incomprehensible things. All he could do was watch the pup-like male and the tiny squirrel in disbelief.

As the older male beside her stopped, she arched a brow and gazed over her shoulder to where the the Alpha male was playing. It was an odd sight, but she had seen odder. most adult wolves wouldnt go after squirrels, them being such small pray they prefered deer and larger prey. She had occassionally seen a wolf and a deer playing and forming friendships. This pack truely did seem on, but at least there was no tension of fighting for rank or mates like see had seen in packs she had met in passing.

As a reflex when River aproached, Inoki leapt to behind Diego, but peeked out quickly and scampered back to his previous spot, tilting his head and chittering while looking around. He culd see other wolves, and that wuld have normaly freaked him out, but no fear, Diego was here! But again, a reflex did cause him to get a sligh bit nervous, though that nervosity wuld change with time.
Fuzzy wasent stupid, he'd only aproach wolves with Diego near, that was true, but at least hed learn to be a little less... Persay... Defensive?

 Slowly shimmying down one of the tall trees near the waterfall, koi gazed around her, ears pointed forward, nose twitching as she sented the air. she smelt wolves, many wolves, but she was confident she could make it up a tree before they came close enough to make a meal of her. Besides, she was hungry. Touching her paws to the ground she timidly steped forth, in search of some nuts.
