Hannah shrugged. "I'll call her later." She walked with Liam to his house. Every step was harder than the first.

Liam nodded and then noticed she was a little nervous. He looked at her curiously. "Why are you so nervous Hannah? It's just my house, nothing scary about it." He teased her and stuck his tongue out playfully.

Hannah stuck her tongue out back at him. "I'm not nervous. I'm fine." She lied.
Oh Hannah, you know that won't fool him. He's too amazing for that. She thought to herself.
"So," She said changing the subject. "Who's this letter for?"

There., thought Della as the letter slipped into the brilliantly blue mailbox. Now that she had no hope of getting it back, she was no longer worried about it. Of course, she hadn't signed it, and it had been typed out on her computer, but she'd done it. She'd told Ryan how she felt. It had been Jeremy's death more than anything that'd given her the coursge. You never could tell when your time was up, and so, Adella had decided to be brave.
Turning from the box, she saw Hannah and Liam walking down the street. Della smiled and waved at them, before walking up. "Hey, guys. What's going on?"

Liam was about to tell Hannah before he was interuppted by Della. "Oh, hey Della, I am just fine how are you?" He smiled walking up to her looking from Della to Hannah and back to Della.

Hannah smiled. Finally, another female face. Unfortunately, she didn't know what Liam was going to say. "I'm good." She said. Although, that was a lie since she wanted to spend more time with Liam. But she pushed it aside and put a smile on her face.

Ryan was wandering the streets like he always did. He preferred to walk because he was able to take everything in more. It was something he used to do with Jeremy almost daily, he continued the tradition in his honor. He was accustomed to dealing with death, when he was younger his dad passed away from a heart attack, two years later, his grandmother died of natural causes. As he was walking, he saw a familiar sight, Liam, Hannah, and Adella walking together. He decided to go join them, only one thing was missing.
"Hey guys." Ryan shouted enthusiastically.
After he caught up with them, he said, "Just give me a second, I need to mail a letter."
After monthst of wondering if he could end up with Adella, he decided to write her a love letter. He signed it at the bottom with an old nickname Adella had given him. On the back of the envelope was written "To Adella, open this envelope only if you desire to see what's inside."

Liam smiled at Ryan. "Hey Ryan, how's it going? The gang's all here!" then he stopped and frowned looking at the ground. "Well....not the whole gang..." Then he shrugged it off and smiled again.

Hannah smiled and put her hand on his shoulder. "He's with us in spirit." She told him and then looked at the others. "You know what we should do? Let's go to the smoothie shop and sit in our booth."

"Oh, I'm fine, Liam. It's nice to see you, Hannah. Hey, if you're not busy tomorrow, I was thinking we could have a girl's night at my house. You know, chocolate icecream, romantic comedies, nail polish, the works. What do ya say? My sister will be there." Della's siter, Cassie, was a very bubbly, happy person who always made everyone around her feel happy and excited right along with her. "I'd invite you too, Liam, but I don't think you'd enjoy it as much as Hannah would," she teased.
Just then, Ryan joined them. Adella beamed at him. "Hey Ryan. Go Ahead, I don't mind waiting." Secretly tough, she was dying to know what that letter said. She wondered if it might be for her, and the idea made her feel very excited. She'd had a crush on him since about the tenth grade. She was so curious about who Ryan's letter could be for, that she barely acknowleged the Jeremy reference. She did however join Liam in staring at the ground, muttering "Yeah" under her breath. Jeremy had been her surrogate big brother, and she missed him dearly.

Hannah's eyes lit up. "That sounds great. I think it's something the three of us need." She looked at the boys. "So what do you say guys? Shall we head to the smoothie shop?"

Just like Liam, Ryan shrugged at the reference to Jeremy. They had all been very close, it was that closeness that helped Ryan to move on.
"Sure, smoothies sound great!" He said happily
He looked over towrds Adella and said, "Hey Della, haven't seen you in a while, how have you been?"

They started walking towards the smoothie shop but Hannah couldn't help looking at Liam's mail box. The thought of the letter continued to weigh her down. She leaned over to Liam. "We'll go over the letter later." She whispered.

"Oh you know, same old. I'm gonna get carpel tunnel, writing that letter took forever."
