Aras nodded wisely. "And I promised Kanis that I would learn everything I can while I'm there, so that I can teach it all to her when I get home," she said solemnly. "So I have to make sure that I do that - that I learn everything I can."

And suddenly she grinned brightly. "And Daddy says that they have a really big lib'ary with lots of books that I can read when I know how to read!" she said enthusiastically. "Daddy's been teaching me how to read with the books that he has, they're good stories!"

Celebor chuckled at Lin. Well, he did what he could.

"I'll still be coming around every time Donovan goes on a hunt," he reminded her, "as long as someone lets me know ahead of time that he's going."

"Eep!" Miyu skittered out of the way while still clinging to Yue.

It made it so that the men had to shove over to the side so the little girl wouldn't be dragging Yue along. She stared up at the guard and hid again, which couldn't be help. He was a guard, and guards were scary to a little one like her.

"Well if it makes you feel any better," a voice floated behind the door, "I think there's only a few more left."

There outside the door appeared Kara, who looked a bit weary from trying to make sure all the children were there. Well that and Salty kept moving, thumping his tail against her thigh as he tried to take in everything.

"Of course," Lin replied, "There's always someone in the Seconds World visiting now, so I'm sure you'll always get a heads up."

She said this a matter of factly, which it was.

Donovan nearly twitched when they were coming up to the study, "It looks like a zoo up there."

Atalya looked around, hearing Kara's voice, and when she spotted the angel she smiled widely and held out one hand to greet her.

"Welcome back," she said warmly. "Your family is larger than I was led to believe ... have you adopted again since you were here?"

Kara after all had only been there the one time, and Elnara alone had adopted eleven in that time.

Reave however was moving everyone on through and out of the study, towards the banquet hall where there would be more than enough room for all of them. He chatted with Serenity as he went, and with Jair, who knew elvish just as well as anyone else in the family.

"Well....." Lore murmured realizing that Aras had missed the result, "Most of them are family. A good lot of them are your great aunts and uncles and cousins."

So yes... they were all here for him and Elnara, which was just odd thinking about it.

Aras wasn't afraid of the crowd, but she was afraid of getting lost in the enormous rooms and echoing halls. She could hear the echoes in the room past the study already, of voices and footsteps and ...

"Can I go back to Daddy?" she asked Lore, sitting down on his shoulder again and looking at him through large, fearful eyes.

Celebor heard his daughter's request and stepped forward to take her from Lore. "She'll be sleeping with me anyways," he smiled at Lore, "so perhaps it's best if I take her after all."

Besides, they would be here for a while - it wasn't as if she wasn't going to be spending time with Lore.

Kara smiled, "I'll see you later."

She looked down and ushered Azalea along, while the twin angels waved heading to a place with more room. Even though they didn't fear of being stepped on the same couldn't be said for the smaller children.

Meanwhile, Feng was following the others when she spotted Celebor, the baby carrier, far too large for Naida was strapped to her back. Hiding the little Second behind her, who... like her mother with the hair fetish was making small braids into her mother's long black hair.

"Celebor!" she waved and changed direction before her brother could stop her.

"Hugging mermaid alert," Lin muttered as she stepped out of the way so she wouldn't get bowled over by her older sister.

She took this time to hide, or rather take shelter near one of the taller people. The last thing she needed was to get trampled on thank you very much.
