Tortie grinned wider with every statement that Apothecary threw her way. "Yeah! That'd be so great! All of our little ones will be merry and happy together! Romping around and.." she trailed off as she sat there on the log, with a glazed look in her eyes. Her thoughts had taken her into the future. A blurred vision of what it would look like. All of the Talaye were small and adorable, yet she couldn't determain the colors. It's as if she were another creature, examining them from a different point of view. In seconds, she was back, on the log, looking at Apothecary. She smiled so that her dimples showed and she was so happy to have met her. "Yes, this spot," she finally added, calming down.
She looked over at Split Personality and her additude changed immensly. She was calm now, and speaking in the present, seeming more real than before, "Yes, a strong and healthy Talaye would be my one dream. The colors, markings, and gender are all a mere gift to come along with the special day," she was referring to the day that their Talaye would hatch and come out of their baskets. She glanced down at her basket, proud that she would become an owner. She cradled it in her arms, and dreamed of all the gifts she would shower the little one with when it grew older. She then pondered the fact that her little Talaye would be a pup forever. Mixed emotions came with that, she was happy yet.. something in her heart was unclear, but she pushed it away, and kept on laughing and talking with her friends.

Laying by the riverside, the pearl white tala hummed softly as he gently stroked a little orangish creture that lay between his paws. The large white one chuckled slightly, and looked down.
"Well, we finally got you out of that rabbit hole.. what was it like down there?" he gently asked, waiting for the response.
The little orange one looked up and squeaked,
"Well, since Eros hasn't come to torture me yet, it was.. dark. I'll say that much. And, well, being this little gives you a new perspective on life."
"Hmm.. that's intresting."

"So it's settled." She said in a cheery voice. "Whenever we are bored and want to do something together we will meet here." She nodded at the end of the statement and then a smile came on her face. Apoth started to stare at the clouds again. They reminded her of a place that was peaceful and had no conflict. Kinda like this place... Only different in some ways. She could not put her finger on it however.
The fact that her Tala will stay a pup forever came into her mind as Tortie said it. "I like how they will be mini but I don't know about the pup thing. " She said with a crack in her voice. "I mean I will love my Tala no matter what. It is just... That they can't breed or have a mate." More questions ran threw her mind. "I don't mean to sound rude or anything but... I would hvae loved to have my Tala mate and have some pups." She said. "But... As long as my Tala is healthy and strong I don't mind." She laughed to try and break the un-easy feeling.

A stranger by the name of Shukumi suddenly appears by the river. He walks over and sits by a large boulder. In his hands, you can see a little basket with a blanket covered with hearts that is hiding something. He sits down and watches the others as they talk. Shukumi never did like barging into conversations so he sat in his place quietly, waiting for someone to approach him to start a conversation.

Apoth saw the new person sitting near the boulder. She looked at Tortie then back at the new person. "I think I'm going to say hi to the new fella." She said in a friendly voice. She started to walk towards him. Apoth saw he had a Talaye basket. As she came to him she got a little nervous. "What if he does not like me." She said to herself. "Well... I better try atleast."
Apoth walked up to the new person and started to talk. "Hello. My name is Apothecary but you can call me Apoth for short." She said with a smile. "I see you have a basket too." She pointed at her basket. "What are you hoping for?" She tried to start a conversation.

Shukumi looked up at the person who was trying to start a conversation. "Hi. My name is Shukumi. I have many abbraviated names so you can just call me whatever you like." he said with a calm and mellow voice. He then looked at his basket and then looked back at Apoth. "And what do you mean -What Am I Hoping For?-"...

"What I meant was... Are you wishing for a Boy Tala or a Girl Tala?" She said. "You don't have to say it if you don't want to." Her voice began to crack. She started to feel uneasy again.

"Are you feeling alright?" he said while looking concerned after hearing her voice crack. "Do you need some water?". "To be honest, it doesn't really matter to me. A Tala is a Tala and I will love them no matter what gender they are" he said as he reached into his backpack for a bottle of water.

Split notices the stranger too, but she was to interested in her basket to care very much right now. She lifted the package up above her, staring at the bottum of it, half expecting it to have a 'made in china' sticker, but it didn't.

(( Lots of RP yesterday, I see whee ))
Tortie was gazing towards the river, daydreaming. Images of peace and baby Talaye playing together floated through her mind. What an untouched world she whispered to herself amidst her dream. When she heard the others talking, she snapped out of it quickly and the "real world" came into focus again. She looked down to make sure her basket was grasped tight in her arms and saw Apothecary over with a new-comer. Immediately, she walked over to see who it was.
"Shukumi!" her eyes widened as she spoke. The last thing she thought was that she'd actually know the person. "How have you been?" she added, breaking up the silence between her two friends. She smiled at two of them.
She then glanced over her shoulder to Split Personality. She giggled at the image: Split was holding her basket above her head. "C'mon over here," she said in a calm, inviting, and less energetic voice.

Hearing a familiar voice, Shukumi turned his head and he saw Tortie! He quickly got up and rushed over to her.
"Tortie!" he said with a big smile on his face.
"How've you been? whee heart ".

She said beinging to shake. Apoth picked up her basket and started checking it like Split Personality was. "What are you looking for anyway?" She said with a confused look on her face.

Tortie snugged her Talaye basket tight against her body and looked around at the tiny group of friends. She was smiling inside and looked at each one happily.
She giggled at the response that Shukumi gave, the same questions that she had asked him. "I've been great," she smiled, looking through past experiences in her mind, "how about you?" She had known Shukumi for quite some time and it was great to see him here, at the Talaye Meadow. She took another glance at Apoth and Split and smiled warmly.
