 Kimi nods in quiet understanding of Isoke's wise words, his eye on Bel and Ren.
He turns back to his green sister, "What would you have me do, Jei, lock her in a tower? This isn't a fairy tale, our sister is free to choose who she wants as friends. And the friends you made? I'd like to hear the story, what better time, I think we would like to know where you've been, who's been keeping you away?" He stayed leaning against Jei in attempt to distract her, but also because he is curious, indeed, he had missed her. When she spoke up again and with such a harsh tone, he sighed, he was being pulled again, two different ways, this seemed his fate.
"JEI! How can you be so rude?" His father interrupting was the only thing that kept him from saying more, this was so confusing, because he felt that Ren was slipping away, and instead of fighting it, he was arguing the side he wanted to be on... He slumped and put his head on his paws, ignoring for the moment the talk of 'princesses', what good were fairytales anyway? He almost stood, his intention to go and fish, though he'd never been very good at it, it gave him something to do, something that would help, but then Ren, her nervousness showing obviously, he stayed.
"Thanks Ren, I'll have some berries, and fish later, but I'll do it," he turned his eye to Tsu, "so that Da can stay and talk."

Though everyone was being friendly with her Isoke was growing more and more uncomfortable. She nibbled at her food and anxiously rubbed at her antlers, something she usually fought not to do. She called up a smile thinking of the one Jei reminded her of, Tsu's description fit him. "He's a wonderful hunter I remember," she replied just as softly. "I've met him and count him as a friend. I was so happy to hear he was to be a father." She tried not to stare at Jei but she did eyed her curiously for a moment. "Perhaps someday she'll get to know him as he truely is."
Belial was realizing that for some reason he was a cause of contention among the younger members of the party. He called up a grin and picked up one of the strawberries, "I trust your tastes Ren." And he did in fact enjoy the strawberry and offered one to his sister. "I know how much you like berries and there's no branches to get past here," he said teasingly.
"Thanks bro," she replied rolling her eye in response to the tease. She did love berries but it was a bit of a hazard for her to get them herself. She rubbed at her antlers again.

Her tails flailed nervously... but with the calm of talk- settled her just a bit. "Heh. I wanna watch you wish!" She squeked and looked up at Belial for some kind of approval in his eye- she smiled some when he accepted the berry of her taste. She nibbled on another one; though in the back of her head.. was this becoming a war? More than a picnic...?
Tsu blinked and laughed some. "Ah now, -now. Spoiling the fun for this ol' one are yea Hiro.." He leaned down and nipped at his ear. "I think you now spoil me." He leaned his head to one side when Jeiyana thought herself not a princess. "A rebel." He said after Jei spoke up about princesses. "Fairytales are figments of the imageni. Though... if I remember right. I've met one that was stuck in fairytales- sometimes.. fairytales could be what is out there- that ulaya try and seek out. " he remembered The Goddess of Dreams. Shaking his head- she looked like a fairy! How small she was..
"Such harsh words.. Belial and his family-" He looked to isoke. "Are welcome here anytime. Now- just as hiro.. I'd like to know who has kept are rebel away."
When he leaned again, she sighed.. He was ..somehow right.. But keeping her locked away seemed fair in her eyes. Naive mostly. "I met an...ulaya. That saved me from the rain.. I slipped and was hurt pretty bad.. and took me in. Though before the dawn I had disappeared from the grasp of such Ulaya." She cuued some.. "Running from HIM. Is hard.. I hear his steps everywhere I go!" She got quiet.."I've met... a two tailed snake.. He.. Helped nurse me.. said such flowery things. Things that shouldn't be said to one like me." She looked at Tsu.. Then Ren. "It is someone that Ren..and Hiro know. Though our meeting wasn't as kindly the first time..
A family fight it seemed like." Her tail swished to each side.. Then she looked at Hiro.. and slipped her head under his arm. "I did not mean to be away.. I just know he will eventually find me. He is hunting me down."
He leaned back and when he heard that Isoke met him, he turned with a semi smile. "A hunter he is. though someone that doesn't help him in the matter of kits. I laughed.. i remember when we had them in boxes... He was flailing and scared they would get hurt.. Jei's gave him trouble~ lots of it~ and she didn't even come out of her box yet. " He laughed some- then looked to Ren. Noticing her body language.. and hiros.
"Fish.. would you like some Isoke and Belial? We have enough here one each- but Hiro seems to want to fish." He smirked and moved the set of fried fish in the middle of the sheet. Passing them out, one to each child so the adults could decide.
Jei then took notice to Isoke in the corner of her eye.. The look that Sorii would give.. but with the hint of the scared kit that she had become. Then she reverted her look down to Hiro.. trying to calm.. Once the fish was presented in front of her, she took a stab at her with her claws- slicing it in half and then ate it like if it was the last thing she would eat..
Her cheeks burned a bright red as she laid now in front of Belial and cross to Hiro and Jeiyana.. "Family." She smiled softly. Really accepting them in to their place.. Though was worry- but there was no doubt that Ren had clung each one to her heart. Even Isoke.. that she had the hint of jealousy for a moment.. But it started to erase away and she looked to her more.. Calming. "Isoke. Why do you brush your antlers..?" She didn't understand the tease that Belial gave isoke. "you can't go in bushes huh? ... Well. You can ask me! And I can get them for you! No worries right?" She giggled some- the thought of helping. Made her happy~
She turned to her father talking about Fairy tales.. "Dreams can come true." Then looked to Hiro.. " Im living one each and everyday." Thus her voice was rather serious~ then her gaze went to Belial. "You can swim too hm?" She said nipping at her fish. Her eyes questioning.

Kimihiro resettled himself and continued nibbling the berries and other food he was offered, he turned his gaze in turn to those gathered, lingering on Bel, Jei and Isoke each, the two he did not know a little longer still, because he thought that, in just watching them, he could pick up on their personalities a little better than just listening alone.
"Oh I don't need watched, Ren. I'll be fine, you should stay and catch up, yes?" He turned his head to his Da for approval, backing his ear when nipped, then back to her, "Nothing like that Da, you're better still at fishing than me, just Isoke and Belial came to see you and Ren." His gaze fell on Bel again, he was curious what the male would say.
Kimi again turned his attentions on Jei, not being the least be harsh with her now that she was telling her story, and he was sorry to hear it. That hardships had befallen her and he hadn't known a thing. "Well whomever this male is, he'll have to come through me, through all of us, if he dares to track and harm you, Jei." With her curled about his arm, he only nibbled at his fish, offering the rest to her when she wolfed down her own share. "My word may not be worth much as I am now, but we won't always be so young. I want to be protective, if you need me to."
When Ren spoke up again, Kimi watched her, a smile faint upon his lips, though his gaze took in Bel who was sitting there so close. He settled his head low again with a soft sigh. Dreams and nightmares, the gods would see to that.

Isoke tried to grin reasuringly at Jei, she didn't fully understand what was going on but the kit was troubled by her experience. She caught the look and saw Soriii in her mind again. She gave her head a slight shake before returning her attention to Tsu her smile returning, "I'm reallly enjoying the berries acctually. As Bel mentioned I have trouble getting to them sometimes. The young ones can split my share of the fish if they'd like." She hadn't realized she'd been rubbing her antlers again. "Its a nervous habit Ren, I didn't even realize I was doing it. But yeah they're why I can't get to berries a lot of the time; they get tangled in the branches."
Belial was begining to feel like he was being challenged. It seemed little Ren for all she had been alone that one day was in fact surrounded by those willing able and even needing to protect her. He wondered what it was about her that generated such a response. It must be the sweet loving aura and the knowledge that she too would do anything for those for whom she cared.
He rejoined the conversation concerning the fishing. "I honestly don't have much experience with fishing. Isoke and I tend to stick to the land for our hunting. I can swim but I don't do it very often. I've never been swimming in the ocean though."

"See Kimi!" She giggled and flipped her tails lightly, her softness started to flourish again..Now it was beginning. Of the burrying of herself for others, is that what attracted the attention? The kindness and ever giving..
"I can help! Like I said. Da taught me well and Kimi is the best!" Squealing at the various times~ it was shown.
She stretched her neck out a little and barely made it- but she licked her brother's nose softly/barely. "Hehe. If we stay in the shallow end I can play too!" She smiled softly then looked to bel. "Well if you can swim~ oh yea!" She lifted herself on her hind legs. Wrapping her tails behind her. "Saved by him it was! When I was in the water.." She thought and looked up in a bubbly sort of way. "I thought I was swimming then.." She looked to her father, laughing as she softly bounced on her tails like a spring, then settled in them.
"Ah... Then I bid you Kimi, a good catch." He nodded to him and smiled softly. "It is they that took in my words- only mere words and sight to understand things I suppose. I taught them what it means to be on the outside of home. How to find their way back." He looked to each of them. "Isn't that right Jei.."
Unlike Ren, and Kimi. The others.. She did not grow in to a 'proper' sort of ulaya. Rough around the edges, and the will to survive was in her like raging fire. Something that was taken with Sorii.. developed more with her mother even if she didn't know her. Twitch in the ears as she looked over Isoke, then looked at Kimi and what he offered. "thanks kimi..." She nuzzled him and then nibbled more slowly at the fish he gave her...
Swaying her tail, now rather calm.. Even if this brought about tension- it was better now.. They had their own world. Looking up to greet the ol' cat's face softly. "Yes.. I suppose. I don't I would have been alive if it wasn't for some of those teachings.." Remembering the constant way it was to escape the grasp of the large green swirled male. "Though I rather be here with my family." Purring softly, content as she was.
"Jei, Is I think the most best hide n' seeker though. She is really fast... " She nodded in praise. Then looked at her brother when he said his word met such.. significants. "NO!" It slipped again.. Cracking.. Slamming her tails against the sheet.
Catching herself her voice went softer.. "Your word does mean something....it does have worth, even now."

Bel difinately felt in the middle of something now. He wanted to spend time with Ren, but she seem determined that everyone get along and be together. "Well I would like to see how its done, but I understand the desire to want to hunt alone," he replied to Kimihiro. "Though Isoke and I travel together we usually take our own paths when its time to hunt, of course we share when one isn't as successful and hunt as a team when times demand it. Its important to be flexible."
Isoke nibbled at her berries and remained quietly observant. She felt welcomed and yet separated all at the same time. There was so much inner tension among the family and she worried the pressence of herself and her brother was causing more awkwardness. Bel of course was oblivious to it she was sure....

Kimi sighed softly, but managed a smile when she licked his nose. Ren had never learned to swim at all, he didn't want for her to drown, but he wished that she would learn to swim. Though, his eye fell on Bel again, would someone always be there to save her?
"You can't help if you can't swim, Ren, but you can play, play with Bel and I'll do the fishing." He said it as final, as challenge, he didn't like to argue, was mostly content to follow the lead of others, but on this he was going to be adamant. Ren had the idea in her head that he would be leaving her, if that would make the transition easier for her, he would not stand in her way and make it harder. As much as he did not want to, he was slowly letting her go. "If this is Belial's first time to have a chance to play in the ocean, don't go and let yourself get dragged under when you're playing Ren, have your fun with him."
Kimi stood now, to move off from the group, but he turned back to them and consented this to Ren and the others. "Then listen to what I say and don't get hurt."((Sorry this took me so long to get a post into Chi and Silver <333))

"Alright." She finally agreed- like most things.. She just agreed if it came to Kimi. Except when the cracking started- there was no telling what outburst she would have next. She turned to Belial. "Yea... Da tried to teach me.. but I still can't swim." She slipped between the space of Kimi leaving and Belial.
"The ocean is fun! Really! You should come here more often.. first time.. Since I knew how to walk I was by the ocean." She giggled and smiled softly, though looking in the corner of her eye at Kimi. What he said and in her tone. She didn't like it~ though she settled for it. No debates for the moment.. She looked to Belial.
"I dunno how i'd live without the ocean..." She took a few slowly steps towards the water. "It speaks to you~ yea know."
What his children were going through...*le sigh* Had they not found truth in their own feelings.. to not match up to others.. Blood is thicker than water. Though there was no limit to how one represents family.
"Belial~ You are right." He nodded. "Hunting with with others yet alone. It works on both sides of the coin. Perhaps, but flexiblity is keep importance to life- you need to adapt to your surroundings. " He looked as his son left the side of his daughter..
the aura between them and the way ren was talking. Acting. It was distinct.
"Perhaps- have fun.. and heed those words Ren. Be safe." He looked to Belial. "As you did before~ " Referring to when Ren told him the story of the rescue.
"Why do you look at me like that deer." She finally spouted out since Kimi wasn't at her side. A light growl. "Those eyes look of pity." She tossed her head as she curled up in front of tsu.. Sitting and flickering her tail to each side.. how wonderful to live amongst others.. Oh how lovely.
Obviously she was missing out on hunts.. berries. Isoke reminded her of herself- though she had no one to generally be with.
Ren smoothly walked.. looking back at her father and Belial. "I'll be carefully DA! No worries! Im safe since Kimi and belial are here!" A grin came to her as she went to look at Kimi. Feeling he was taring apart from her.. why did he want to be alone!? She couldn't understand.. As she came up to the brim of the water touching her paws... She looked back at Belial. "Come on! It feels nice!" Looking to kimi. "I bet you'll catch lots of fish!"

As Kimi stalked towards the ocean he wobbled, his steps were as unsteady as always, he was mentally cursing this fact now, when it usually never bother him much, he knew it made him look weak in the eyes of others, that coupled with the fact that he only had sight in one eye lead him with disadvantage. He moved faster down the trail to the sand, the uneven surface somehow help to cushion his step and steady him, then he set to running, he wanted to be in the ocean, it was there he felt most steady and sure, he was good at swimming, at fishing. He wasn't good with confrontation, that he felt coming, looming at him. Kimi dove and began paddling as soon as he hit the water, he wanted to be deep and far from Ren and Belial's playing, it would be easier to catch fish further out anyway, but mostly, he wanted to be away.

Belial nodded to Tsu as he stood and followed Ren and Kimihiro toward the water. There was a certain piece about the ocean and he could certainly understand the family's interest in remaining close. He kept an eye on both youngsters though inspite of some unsteadiness on land Kimihiro looked quite confident when he hit the water.
"Yeah the ocean does seem to have a voice," he replied smiling at Rennoa. She looked a little hurt as her brother paddled away from them...So he joined her in entering the water, letting the wave lap against his paws.
Isoke waved a paw as the trio departed. Then Jei growled at her. "I... I'm sorry," the antlered ulaya stammered. She didnt' know what to say not wanting to reveal what she and Tsu had discussed. "You remind me of someone I met once," she said finally. "I havn't seen him in a long time so it makes me a little sad."

Jei gave a snort. Then huffed before slowly getting up. "You shouldn't wait for someone to show up. You shouldn't wait for no one." Sitting up.. Tsu's paw was moved ever so slightly now on her back. Her tail whipping. "Don't just say your sorry. Words don't mean a thing." Showing her small razor sharp teeth. "Actions speak louder than words and I hope this someone that makes you sad- you find someone that makes you happy instead of waiting for others that make you said." Looking away.
Tsu wasn't happy. Putting his paw on the girl's head. "She has a good heart- she tries to speak good words but he isn't really good at it- forgive her." He tried to laugh it out before rolling the kit on her back and rubbing her tummy slightly. "Stop being rude- and treat them as you would Ren and Kimi." Poking her in the face with his snout. Then looked at Isoke. "The ones we are sad about- lets try to think a better place for them? And try to lift those spirits in a positive light.. because their fruit is just as beautiful as the tree.. no?" Trying to give her the hint of saying Sorii was probably fine.. and otherwise. It was Jeiyana.. the fruit of him. Thats what matter.. their offspring were ok? "Why don't you take sister Isoke for some water fun?"
Jei whirled her head and gave that 'SAY WHUT~' Kinda look. Then looked up at Isoke with a harsh looking face.. but this little one.. Just needed attention and love. It was hard when she pushed others away but really.. there was a girl calling out but muted by her heart of stone.
Her face showed still a sad touch but she whirled around to Belial and jumped along the water's edge. Hoping about and then around and under his legs. Giving big splashes. Her tails dancing and wrapping yet leaving each of belial's limbs. Then happily made herself go under him with her head on his chest and looking up. "Mmmmm don't you love the sea?" It danced and whirled around her paws.. then the feeling of the water calling her by her paws.. pulling her in slightly and her footing got light as though the water went under her paws and started to move her. She took about a couple of steps forward then ran back to belial and under his forelegs again.
