"Yep, they're the ones that are small and have pointed ears." He used his paws to make a rough sketch of a cat in the snow. It wasn't very good, but it served its purpose. He debated about whether he should ask it now. In the end he decided to, since there wasn't much else that line of conversation could lead to. "So where did you live before you came to Namiah?"

Keida was not surprised by the question, it was only natural for Jeireth to be curious about her while they were living together. "I have lived in many places. My most recent homes were a small island that was part of an area called The Orange Islands. And in a cave at the summit of a very tall mountain." She frowns briefly as memory flashes to mind, of certain boy with a red hat and his Charizard.
((I'm looking up more info on Articuno to make sure I get my time lines right xD))

Jeireth could imagine what living at the summit of a mountain would be like, but he had no idea what the Orange Islands were like. He thought over it a bit, then decided to inquire. "So what were the Orange Islands like? Cold?"
(I remember Articuno living on an island in the second movie, and also an island within all the Kanto Region games. 3nodding )

"Actually they were very warm. But every year I was drawn there, to the island that was labeled as mine." She did not try to explain the pull for not even she herself knew how to describe it.
((She also makes 2 appeaarances in the anime. 1 where she saves Ash and his friends, and Team Rockets tries to capture her. And then another one where she battles Ash's Charizard for her human friend. A guy named Noland 3nodding ))

"Warm, huh? Well you could always adjust the temperature to whatever you like, so I suppose it doesn't matter too much." Jeireth wondered about the pull that kept her coming back. Should he try to ask about it? No, if she could explain it then he would imagine that she would try. "So how did you come to own the island? Did humans decide on it or something else?"

She frowned, her mind trying to come up with an answer to his question. "I do not know how it came to be mine, it just always has been. Even before the humans entered the islands."

"Wow...wish I had claim to an island!" replied Jeireth jokingly. Truth be told, he wouldn't want an island unless it was naturally cold. If it were cold he would like it though. His next question was carefully asked. He was afraid of prying too much, so he carefully watched her reaction to see if he should back off. "Did you get a lot of company?"

"No I did not," answered Keida, nothing in her voice changing. Though she was steadily growing more comfortable in Jeireth's presence. In her eyes, he was steadily growing from guest to friend. She decided it was time to ask a question of her own. "Mister Jeireth, if you could have anything in the world, what would it be?"

Jeireth thought over the question a bit. He wasn't sure what he would want. Power? Nah, wasn't for him. Money? Of course not! He wouldn't have anything to use it on. Love? Well, that one's iffy. He'll leave that as a reserve answer, since he didn't necessarily want love right this minute. Food? Well he was kinda hungry, but what kind of answer would that be? Friendship?
Jeireth's thoughts stopped on this. It wasn't as if he didn't have friends, but he certainly didn't have very many close friends that he talked to often and felt completely comfortable sharing every thought with. Rajani was about as closest as he got to that, and he didn't see him enough to get to that point. Happy he had an answer, he replied, "I would want a group of friends with which I could spend time with. Not a lot of friends, but a group of close friends."
He silently hoped that Keida understood what he meant, since he was starting to think of her as a friend. Especially now that he knew more about her. The last thing he wanted to do was offend a potiential friend.

"Others would answer by saying that they wish for money, or for ultimate power. Your answer is different from the normal." And it gave her a bit more insight into how the penguin's mind worked and what he found important in life. The corners of her lips twitched upwards to form the small smile that she usually only shared with Nalini. "It is a nice answer Mister Jeireth."

Jeireth wondered why namrah would want money. As far as he could tell there was nowhere to spend it. He could understand the power some, but, again, enemies are scarce here. He smiled back at Keida, and said, "Thanks." He wondered why she didn't smile more often. It was a nice smile, and it made the sad aura around her go away. He debated on saying so, but settled on half saying it. His whole thought would sound almost like he was flirting, and he didn't want to give her that idea. "You know, it's nice to see you smile."
(He might sound like he's flirting anyways, but oh well. xd )

"It is?" She blinked, surprised by the comment. She did not really know how to react to the comment and was half tempted to cover up her smile.

Jeireth nodded. "Yeah. I mean, you don't smile all that often, so it's nice to see you smile." Again, he didn't not add in that it was a nice smile. She looked surprised enough by just half of it. Certainly the whole thing would be just too much for her.

"Unlike Miss Nalini and the other fun loving Namrah, I do not feel comfortable smiling in public. Never did." She tilted her head and searched for a different subject to talk about. "Have you ever built a snowman Mist Jeireth?"

Jeireth understood what Keida was talking about. Plus, it made her smile a bit more honest, he supposed. He felt you could tell that she was actually happy when she smiled. Recognizing the change of subject, Jeireth shook his head, "I've never made a snowman before." He recalled his youth, a slideshow of images barely connected to one another. Yet as far as he could tell, a snowman never appeared in any of them. "Seems like fun though."
