"is good" he said simply. he let the song end then droped his head back to see Mimicry. "Mim, i would ask. are you enjoying the books?"

a small smile showed as he cleared his throught and slid off the branch, grabing his leather back pack as he did. he put his harp away and pulled the thick worn leather whip from his hips. he twined it together loosely, then put it back on. he cast Mimicry a glance, then sat against the tree.
"so all is well with your patrol?"

he laghed. "i think you mean Bain. she is a wolf demon, claims the mainland downtown as her turf. she is called blood wolf because when she takes her collar off... well her wolf comes out to play." he whinced. " she can be very violent at times... its always best the collar stays on." he glanced up calmly. " she didnt attack you did she?"

he smiled slightly. "na, she wont bite.. usualy." he shruged and folded his arms across his chest. " she plays with people, she is a wolf after all."

he pushed his loose hair behind his shoulder as he looked at a star shaped flower, the long petals giveing off a faint orange light. "ah, a sun bird. fairly rare down here." he said as he looked at the flower just to Mimicrys right.

he only smiled at her question, shruging slightly. " your gues is as good as mine Mim."

he looked at the flower and shook his head. " no, Moon Flowers do grow here.. but they are just the most known. there are many plants and flowers that grow here." he turned his hand around the tree trunk and pulled it back holding a blue and green mushroom. " like this, this mushroom can cure any poison. the head can at least, the stem ( if ground into powder) release's a chemical into your skin that lets you sleep peacefuly.. some even say that you can see past events in your dreams if you think about them before falling asleep." he rubed the mushrooms gills, his fingers comeing away with glowing blue dust. " many plants here are a wonder to people.. most dont beleave in them anymore."

he noded, amused that she was determind to gues his speacies.
"these plants are the opposite to the ones above ground. one that is poisonis up there, has one that can cure it down here." he moved his finger and let some of the blue dust settle on Mimicry's hand. it had soothing qualitys, and could heal burns. he felt a slight shift in the air, then in one movement grabed Mimicry around the waist and his bag, then lept easily back into the tree. he sat Mimicry down in a large flat area in the branch and handed her his bag. he put his hands to his lips in the quiet gesture then watched as the theives came in the back entrance to the city. if they knew Mimicry had been here when they opened it they would have to kill her. they did what they could to keep they city secret, even if it ment going that far.

as it happend, he was not going to let them. even if they knew she had seen them, he had no intention of leting Mim get hurt. he watched them leave, listening closely as the made their way to the less wooded area.

he sat his bag down on the ground, then whistled sharply. the back entrance slid open, and the others pulled in a huge sled of odd things. there were toy's, plate's, and all other sorts of things from above. he picked his sack up again and said loudly. " good hull gental theives, take that to base. Turin, take charge of distrabution. ill be aloft." he smiled to himself as he turned, heading into the city. they stuff they took would be given to the people of this place, for all were curiuse about the world above. the bag he carried had something much more intertaining in it, and he knew exactly where he wanted it to go. he whistled cheerfuly as he walked past the old buildings, takeing his time.
