"It does. Though I couldn't tell you why. Maybe it's the adrenaline, the heightened senses. Maybe it's something our mind does to help us cope with the situation we're in." He pondered on this a moment later, then returned to the subject of the army.
He saw interest in Azarax's eyes and nodded, mostly to himself. He, like Azarax, hoped to heighten the look of Firekin. He wanted the Firekin to be respected again, because he felt as if a lot of that respect had gone. Replaced with silent snickers and mockery. Well, no more. Not if he had anything to do with it.
"That's good." He replied. "I'll look forward to it." And he truly was. "I'll seek you out in a couple of days, I think, and talk more on this army. It's something I'd like you to involved in one way or another." He tipped his head. "Now I must go see to my other half and make sure she isn't over-working herself. I'll see you soon, no doubt."
He turned and took a few steps before hesitating. He glanced over his shoulder and nodded again. "Thank you, Azarax." Then he turned and loped away.

"I look forward to that," He said with a tip of his head. Indeed, the thought of forming a new army, the greatest in the land, to restore the respect and admiration that other lions held for the Firekin, seemed a noble thing to do.
"Send her my respect and greetings," He said as Kidondo mentioned the need to return to No. "And my hope that being Regent of the Firekin suits her well."
He stood, watching for a moment as Kidondo turned, and at his words of thanks, the tan lion nodded in response, inclining his head. And then he, too, turned for home.
