Ezuzu nodded "So it's a game...I get it now. So we have to stay together and survive. I have no one in this game....it's only me. You guys are lucky to pretty much have a fam..." She said how tense Kolo got with the mention of the demon pride and stopped with the further questions she had for them.

"Well....could you guys tell me about other prides? I have seen alot of types of lions...whats the difference between the ones that look like teddy bears and the ones in the demon prides" Oops, there she went again went them but she hoped Kolo would calm down before he swung his tail off. She couldn't help but to ask now "You alright Kolo?....hey umm...Nadifa..can you calm him down. Looks like he is getting mad. Something I said?" She didn't want to upset her new friends....pretty much the only ones she had.

“I w-wouldn’t call it a game,” Nadifa mused, thinking this over carefully. “L-lives are at stake here… one of my s-sons is blind and has s-sleeping issues… he’s so t-tired all the time. Outside the c-coalition, he wo-wouldn’t have a ch-chance… and, yes. We are very lucky.” If it wasn’t such a corny thing to do, Nadifa would have admitted to thanking the gods and goddesses every day for sending Kolo her way and for granting her such a lovely family. She actually did do something similar, but she wouldn’t admit to it. She was already weak enough and didn’t need to seem any weaker.

Partly for her own comfort---but mostly for Kolo’s---she leaned against her mate gently, hoping that Ezuzu wouldn’t mind the small display of affection between the mates. It could be awkward, feeling like the proverbial fifth wheel and everything. “O-other prides? No… I don’t kn-know anything about the l-lion prides. I suppose the d-difference between the demons and oth-others is that… some are d-demons. Others are n-not.” She shrugged slightly, not considering this a matter of great importance. As far as she was concerned, every lion was dangerous. Some were more dangerous than others, but that hardly mattered.

“I th-think you’d have to ask the l-lions about it… b-but the d-d-demons aren’t ones for answering.”

Kolo might have said an cheetah was welcome into the collation, but he drew a line now. Kayin was that line, he was not welcome as far the gray cheetah was concerned. As of yet, he hadn't brought up the Kayin incident to Nadie, and didn't intended to, if she found out about it, then it meant that black and white vermin was still around and he had cheetah hunting to do.

Instead, as Nadi's nuzzle calmed him down enough that he could hide his fight better, "You have the coalition for when you need us, either to stay or seak a little shelter and rest." There, that was better, didn't leave it open to all cheetahs, one was out no matter what so long as he was concerned.

Now seemingly cooled, off, though he remained tense he tried to also answer Ezuzu's question, "There are also hyena packs and wild dogs, both of which are just as bad about stealing kills as well. I have heard lions and hyenas take in other cats, including Cheetah's as slaves in some places." It was better just to not encounter them at all, as far as he was concerned. He hated thinking what might have become of their son, had the poor blind soul stayed growing up in the roguelands. Not being able to go anywhere on his own would truly be hobbling the boy. Completely against what he strived to do, treat him like there was nothing wrong with him.

Ezuzu had always felt sorry for blind animals in general, not to say they were useless, but they couldn't do much and usually ended up some cat's meal. She had once watched a cat chase another and take it, not kill it. She always hated having to pretty much sit back and watch cats get taken or get killed...but what much can you do but stay in the tree and hold your breath. She had once been at the claws of a lion but her running saved her from all of that.

Ezuzu watched them together, Nadifa was so lucky. "I have sleeping issues too...I think that five minutes of sleep I got was the best I had had in weeks" She laughed "I plan on visiting this place pretty soon...I wanna check it out. You guys have told me so much..I feel like I'm gonna faint from all the knowledge" She was joking of course. "You guys are gonna raise your cubs right..I have a feeling. For me I don't think I will be such a good mom...I have sleeping problems already.....cubs will just make it so I'm never really getting sleep. Are they really stressful to handle?"

Nadifa smiled sheepishly and hunched her shoulders a bit in embarrassment. “I r-really am sorry for waking y-you up…” she repeated, wondering how many times she had to say this before her message got through. Despite her vaguely guilty conscience, she still knew that she had done the Right Thing, a phrase that fully deserved the capital letter in her mind. If she hadn’t woken Ezuzu up, there was no telling what might have happened to her… the demon lions, for all Nadifa knew, could be following the little cheetah coalition, simply waiting for the right chance to attack. The mere thought of it distressed the easily distressed female cheetah even more.

Lucky for her, Ezuzu and Kolo did a pretty good job of distracting her. “N-no, the cubs are little darlings. They’re growing up s-so fast… pretty s-soon they’ll go off to raise their own families.” That was a little sad, but, it wasn’t like they’d be gone forever. “The b-best way to explore the Duma’Chama l-lands is to see them for yourself. You should s-see them, Ezuzu,” Nadifa went on warmly, smiling at her newfound friend. In the meantime, the brown cheetahess wanted to check on her cubs, just to make sure they were safe.

ooc| Could we wrap this up quickly? :3 I'd like to have this rp finished for a breeding.

Listening to what Ezuzu said about sleeping issues, he was more sympathic before Naddie started apologizing. Wanting to ease the embarrassment and fix things, his mind went whirling elsewhere, away from aggression for now. "I think you'll find it easier to rest here. You’re completely safe in these lands. Maybe a walk around and a cool drink might help you rest well, there are eyes looking out for trouble so you don't have to." He had always had a hard time resting when he knew there was danger, or hadn't expelled enough energy. Now that he thought about it, the gray male wondered if sleeping problems were just a common fact of cheetah life, just another advantage to the scavengers and for the cheetah that might need to get up and fight on short notice.

Looking back to where his cubs were sleeping, he thought of who much of a joy they were to his life, it was sobering to think they would be grown and out on their own soon. He wished they could stay cubs, so he never had to be without having cubs to care for and love. Adding in his bit, feeling he was experienced enough as a father to be able to comment, "You just might make one of the best mothers around, for one you don't have to do it alone." He had never left Nadifa to take care of the cubs on her own, choosing to stay with her because he cared for her and because he didn't want to leave her alone to raise the cubs by herself in the dangerous world.

"Cubs have strong personalities but I think you'll find they will give you enough to do that sleep will come easier, a joy worth experiencing." He might say once, but with as great as this has all been, even with the trails of moving to the Duma lands, the light gray male looked forward to maybe having another litter.

Agreeing with his mate, not that he was eager to part company with the new cheetah but rather wanted her to get the chance to see and fall in love with these lands he says, "Certainly, and there are plenty of other cheetahs here, all friendly. For as long as you are in these lands you can enjoy yourself without stress." Here one could really be a cheetah, free to run and play around with others, socialize and just explore. As well, as being comforted knowing your kill is your own unless you decide to share.

Ezuzu eyed the cats and took what they said to heart in a way because they were her best friends of sorts. She got up and yawned. "I'm sorry to eat and run guys but I want to leave you to your own...I feel I have taken up time. Maybe one day I can met your cubs, eh?" She smiled a sweet smile and walked up to Nadifa "I wish you the best on your relationship with your sweet mate! He is a keeper" She said and laughed then moved over to Kolo "You got a sweet girl! I must say hearing her speak drives me a little batty but she is a good girl! I hope you two have fun with your kids..." She started to feel back that she wasn't mated like other's.

"I'm sorry I have to go...I just have some things to do and some sleep to catch up" She looked at both of them. "Tell your kids I said hi, ok?" She and started to walk off into the distance. Back to her tree in the pride lands...
