((I know...I just want to put up an interesting fight...I know I can't beat them, just make them think i could...))
Rice Country:
*As Shabang made for the clones, shurikens flew out from the trees...Wires that were attached to the shurikens wrapped around both Shabang and Sidori...*
kuso...Rasenga must have relayed the scroll to that black figure...I have no chance of getting it back now...and I'm not authorized to even be in this country...I have to sound the retreat...
*Shunketsu's 4 clones disappeared in a thick smoke...in fact, they acted more like giant smoke bombs...and when the smoke cleared, Shunketsu had retreated back across the borders of Konoha, along with the 4 ANBU that was holding off the Sound ANBU...leaving Rasenga and Sidori tied up at the moment, but the wires soon became loose...*

As Sidori hit the tree, he watched the figure of Shunketsu run back towards the fire country's border, and the hidden leaf. He chuckled to himself and he freed himself with ease. "Im sure we'll meet again" he said quietly as he leapt gracefully into the trees, determined to find Rasenga quickly.

Shino and Shiro had made their way out of the hidden sand and began their journey to the Rice Country to meet up with the other members of their organisation, hoping they'd had better succes than they had.
Shino was more pissed off than usual and she walked, digging her staff into the ground violently with every step, "I cant believe we failed! When i return, i will show NO mercy to my village!!" she shouted, looking at her slashed sand hitai-ate.

Rice-Fire Country
Tomasu watched from his hiding place as the men ran further into the Rice country, and the younger hiiden leaf Shinobi retreated to the fire border.
He knew he had no permission to be in either of the villages, but decided to follow the boy to see if possibly something similar had happened to the hidden leaf.
He chased after in the trees and made two clones to jump down with him in case the boy snapped at the surprise. He and his clones jumped down in front of Shunketsu and raised his hands at once to show he wasnt armed.
"Greetings stranger, I am Kawashi Tomasu. Chuunin from the hidden mist. I mean no quarrel with you but I need to know if something has happened to the hidden leaf, or if something has been taken. the man in black you fought just now is someone I just chased here all the way from my village after he tried to assassinate the Mizukage and steal an ancient scroll of the mist, and it looks as though he and that large man with the slashed leaf symbol were in league with each other."
Tomasu felt strange talking so formally, but it was what he'd been taught as part of the Kawashiu clan, and as the Mizukage's personal asistant.

*Some of the ANBU with Shunketsu were about to start for Tomasu, but Shunketsu held them back...*
well met Tomasu of the Hidden Mist...I am Potensharu Shunketsu of the Hidden Leaf...It does seem that those two were in collaboration with one another, but alas, I have not the permission to say more...maybe we did lose something, maybe we didn't...you'd have to pay a formal visit to my village to find out information about these matters...I'll meet you there if you come...
*Shunketsu proceeded back to Konoha...*

"Very, Potensharu Shunketsu. I will go home to recieve permission to come to the hidden leaf and I will ask for you on arrival." Tomasu said with a bow and dissapeared in a small tornado of water.
3 days later, a blue flash was running through the trees towards Konoha, landing at the gates of the hidden leaf. He walked up to the man on patrol and presented his passport and permission and reason for being there signed by the Mizukage. As he started to walk off and turned around again. "Excuse me sir, do you know where i can find a chuunin by the name of Potensharu Shunketsu?"...

Shunketsu: but Hokage-sama...why did you not send out any Jounin! They could have recovered the scroll!!
Hokage: It's been three days Shunketsu...let it go...I don't believe one stolen scroll can be a real threat...and besides most of our Jounin are indisposed at the moment...most are on missions, and a few are on vacation...but do not disturb me now, dismissed...
Shunketsu: hai, Hokage-sama...
*another nin walked into the office...*
Other Nin: Shunketsu-kun...a Mist nin is asking for you at the village gate...
Shunketsu: hmm...took him long enough...
*Shunketsu arrived at the gate...*
Shunketsu: ahh, Tomasu-kun...you wanted to see me?

"Ahh Shunketsu-kun, glad you could make it. I have the permission to be here as you said, and I need to talk to the person that would be best to talk to about the incidents a few days ago, as I still think they are connected, and Im sure other countries would have precious documents or the like of which will probably be targeted next."

well, that all depends on which set of events you want to talk about...if it's about stolen goods, I can't say too much upon the matter, but I'm sure the Hokage can handle that...if it's about the fight along the border of Fire and Rice countries, I have the most knowledge of that event...

Tomasu thought for a moment before speaking. "Well, is it at all possible to speak with the hokage and yourself at the same time? Im sure he will want to know about the mist's theft attempt and also want to alert other countries in case there are more than those towo in an organistation of some description"

Tomasu nodded apreachiatively and follwed Shunketsu through the streets of the hidden leaf to the Hokage's tower. He never been to Konoha before...it was so different..

[[ Just a note, we still don't have a Hokage. o.0 We'd have a Fire Country Elder standing in on the decision-making process, actually. Konoha's still in ruins from the recent war. ; ; ]]
Konoha:
The shadows coalesced atop of the wrecked Hokage Tower, staring down at the reconstruction currently taking place. "A Mist in Leaf? Interesting enough to warrant my attentions, at any rate." It was that attitude that led the few who'd been close to Kuraisennin to believe he was one arrogant sonuvabitch. In reality, he just thought out loud a little too much...
For the time being, he had Aspects searching the borders, picking their ways through the trails of the thieving shinobi. While he had not stepped in to halt their progress, he stayed out of the matter to ascertain just what it was that the thieves were up to.
A bit better informed, he was nonetheless still in the dark about the whole thing, and had decided to drop in to see the Elder about it.
Hokage's Office:
Kuraisennin stepped in through the window after walking down the side of the roofing. "Oh Village-sama, I wish to speak with you..."
= The elderly man, used to ninjas coming and going over the course of his long life, was not surprised in the least and neither turned nor moved. ""He stalks the living out of envy and pity, a moonlit mask to conceal his shame." I believe that is how the legend begins?"
The shadow was taken aback, taking a few instants to regain his composure and produce a chuckle. "My, you must indeed be an Elder to remember that old line..."
= Turning now, the Elder fixed Kuraisennin with a seasoned but good-natured glare. "And what brings a Forbidden such as yourself to Konoha twice in one generation, Kuraisennin-sama? The war is over, you aided us with that gristly matter. Or, are you here for the cause of more recent events?"
Kuraisennin worked out a sigh, and the mask tilted up and down in what could be described as a nod. "Yes, but I believe you're about to have company, who wish to have the same question answered. Perhaps we will have ourselves a little sit-down and see just what's going on in the Land of Fire these days." With a dismissive gesture of his left hand, the extra aural layer of darkness was dispelled from his body and sent flying out the window. A slightly-built and black-swabbed man now leaned against the left wall of the Hokage's Office, silvery-white mask staring blankly at the floor.

((yea, I know we don't have a hokage, I wasn't sure if Shabang wanted this thread to follow that pattern though, but oh well...))
*Shunketsu arrived once again at the Kage Office to see the Elder...he noticed a figure leaning against the wall...he seemed familiar...yes, Shunketsu had noticed him before when the village was in ruin...but Shunketsu never really knew who he was...*
Elder-sama, a nin from The Hidden Mist is here to inquire about recent events...It seems his village was victim to the exact same crime at about the same time as well...

Shabang and Rasenga returned back to the village as quickly as possible after dispatching the opposing nin that remained.
"You got it, good job."
"Yes, it wasn't difficult."
Rasenga replied with a cocky tone in his brutal voice. They returned home under the veil of night, Rasenga returned home, as did Shabang.
"Here father."
Said the dark figure from before.
"Thank you Nobuhiro, now go."
He said as he began to read the contents of the scroll.

(ooc: guess I better start paying attention to this thread ehe)
::she yawned again, rubbing the back of her hand over her eyes. A shiver ran up her spine which caused her to sit upright and take a quick look around. Something had changed...something familiar was here::
::she got to her feet and began to make her way back into the village proper again. She had an inkling and if she was right she knew exactly where to find her answer. She look around at her village, pained to see it in such ruin, but, if all went well, they would have it rebuilt soon. Although, with the lack of a strong shinobi force, she wondered how long it would remain such::
::Hinata approached the still tarnished Tower and fought back the memories of what things were like before and began to make her way up the stairs. If she was right, than her answers were inside here::

Tomasu bowed deeply to the leaf village elder and rose again.
"Kawashi Tomasu. Chuunin of the hidden mist and trusted page of the Mizukage.
I have come to discuss with the hidden leaf, the possibitly of a full scale attck on not only your village and my own. But possibly even attacks on other countries suich as the wind country and in it, the hidden sand village, and possibly even the hidden grass or rain.."
