James stumbled a bit, then heard the threatening creaking again. Oh, brother. Well, James would get Luna later. But to the matter at hand. James readied his sword and began slicing the trees in an intricate and elegant dance. Within a few moments James kept up to his promise about turning the trees into firewood. James sheathed his sword and examined himself. He was cut in several places and now his clothing was ripped slightly.
-"How unsightly..."
James ignored this and ran off after Luna, getting the feeling she would lead her to Snow White. Lucky for James, his hunch was right. Soon enough, he heard her voice and ran up to her.
-"Snow White! I have arrived!"

Immediately taking full effect of his royal suaveness, James embraced Snow White quickly before holding up his sword to the advancing trees.
-"Back, foul denizens of hell! Back or I will slay you accursed demons!"
James puffed up his chest, not too much, but just right, then stood in a posture that spoke of his status, but not of his arrogance. He looked noble, handsome, and all that crap. To him he felt a bit funny, and knew it was not the greatest posture for battle, nor his favorite, but knew it would at least score some points with Snow White.

Luna to say the least was not a happy camper, actually she was livid. Here she was a demon that could rip a person to shreds without a thought, and yet two humans had miraculously escaped her claws. Sighing she dropped her head and trudged after her female target, once more coming across the prince she had just got away from. 'Is there no way for me to get away from these foolish humans?' she asked herself in despair.

She watched with sad eyes as Prince James took down one tree after another, giving no thought to how much damage he was causing to the forest. 'Guess I can't really talk though, I did just kill one back there.' She thought, hanging her head again. Slowly the sorrow started to build up until she couldn't stand to watch another of the forest's trees fall.

"Stop it!" Luna yelled, trying to bring all attention to her. "Just stop it. You're destroying the forest, you're hurting everything that lives here, and for what!? To get to that witch? Well she lives off that way." Luna ranted pointing off to the west. Just go that way and deal with her. Leave my forest alone!"

There were tears in here eyes as she finished but she refused to let them fall. Silently she stood waiting for the humans to answer or make a move.

Snow looked strangely at the wolf woman, wondering what she was making such a fuss about. Then she seemed to notice there was a world other than the handsome prince, and frowned. "Oh, Prince," she pouted, "you didn't kill all those poor things, did you?"

After some thought she shook her head and tentatively put her hand on his arm. "Oh, well, that's okay. You're right, we should leave. And...will we be going...to your castle?" she asked sweetly, her eyes shining with adoration. Unwillingly she drew closer, still not quite able to believe that her prince had finally come.[/b]

At the mention of going to his castle, James began to figuratively sweat. Not only was his castle currently inhabited by his less-than reputable friends at the moment, it was most likely to be littered with quite a few things that weren't exactly princely. James' eyes began to go this way and that as he thought of an excuse.
-"Umm... my castle? Well... my... castle's... been... umm... sieged! Yes, it was quite horrible. There were monsters, demons, witches everywhere! I tried my hardest, but there were too many, even for myself. Many of my men whom I had called friend had died that day. It was most horrible. So! I will escort you somewhere safe while I go off to defeat their horrible leader in battle, and retake my castle!"
Throughout his entire speech after finding his excuse, James made bold, passionate movements, and if watched by someone who couldn't be effected by James' 'gift', it would seem quite comical and obviously faked, and yet anyone who was effected would somehow find it motivational and moving.

-"NO! I mean, I couldn't possibly allow it. It would be very dangerous, and if something happened to you..."
James looked to the side and closed his eyes for dramatic effect. Yeah, it was cliche, but it somehow worked for James.

James looked back at Snow White.
-"Yes, I suppose we should. The longer we stay here the longer you are exposed to danger."
James looked over to Luna and nodded.
-"Farewell, Luna. Perhaps we'll meet again someday under better conditions."

Snow nodded happily before her attention was arrested by the new arrival. She stared strangely at the girl before drawing close to her prince, protectively.

Her eyes blazing fiercely, she looked at her attire with distaste but could not think of a thing to say. Instead she left it to the Prince, who would be sure to come up with a suave, cool answer to this strange half-threat.
