bluegrass cat jfm567 bluegrass cat jfm567 Metalic_Noodles Oh, so it costs a lot then? Darn...
jfm, what do you mean loss of packets and delay? How could anything but 28K be worse than 56K dial-up?
~Metalic_Noodles dial-up: $10.95 a month with no extra work. satellite internet: $99 a month for lowest service with $50 equipment charges per month. and you have to set it all up yourself, and, if its raining hard you have no internet. not to mention all around bad gaming experience. holy crap, where do you live that its that expensive for satellite internet??? eek dang! Rocky Point, North Carolina. oh, well, north carolina, sure. xd we have the highest gas tax! domokun

4chan is mean, and unhelpful.
So It probably is me that fails.
Any tips on getting more helpful replies from my posts?

~Metalic_Noodles It takes practice. It's more a game of tricking them into doing what you want.

Oh, I thought it was about being as mean, ridiculous and dumb as them, they they let you into their tribe.
*sooo wants to do a report on the hierarchy of 4chan right now*
So, I've been trying mean, and nasty right back at them. 3nodding
I would think they'd want to prove how much they know compared to someone else to enlarge their e-pen0r though. o_O Apparently not though. May have something to do with the anonymous thing though, no one knowing who who is. But I've still seen a few 'your an idiot' type things that are similar to those e-pen0r competitions.

~Metalic_Noodles More or less, though the only people who benefit from epene comparisons are tripfags, and everyone hates them anyways. Only nice board is /x/, and only then if you talk about something that interests them.

From first glance, they are interested in the most absurd, messed up bit of s**t that can be made up or found, mostly in the form of an image.

Metalic_Noodles So... any tips on making better(more productive) threads?
~Metalic_Noodles /g/, for example: Promote argument. Make sure your question has no correct answer that someone would know, but rather an answer they all think they know. For example: Instead of asking "How do I speed up my downloads", ask "what is the best download accelerator"? Instead of asking "How do I hide my personal information?", ask, "What is the best program for shredding your history? What program do YOU use?" etc. Using this method, you're less likely to get flamed. Worst case scenario: Your topic gets no replies. Other boards are more complicated.
