Aaron stared at the boy, somewhat at a loss for words. It was all fine and good that he had actually responded, and that he appeared to be showing a little concern for the fallen lady, but he didn't appear to actually be doing anything. While he admitted that she didn't appear to be quite as injured as he'd previously thought, perhaps just a bit woozy for the time being, he wasn't about to let Mr. Mask n' Gloves get away with just trying to play the gofer. He stepped a bit closer, leaning foreward as it to inspect the boy before giving him a light poke on the forehead, right between the temples.

"If I'd needed someone to get the medical personell over here I could have just shouted out to anybody or even used one of the bazillion and a half emergency phones this place is dotted with. Instead, I asked you because you were the only other guy nearby that didn't appear to be busy eating pavement, or whatever else happened to be underfoot at the time. Not a great deal of trouble to help support someone a few hundred yards, pal."

He momentarily regretted his rudeness, since he was sure the guy was either simply not aware or physically unable to help, but said nothing by way of apology. What was the point when he wouldn't even remember? Also, it wasn't like his poke or his words were particularly harsh.

Logan blinked as he was stared at, and started leaning his head back a little. He opened his mouth to ask what the problem was, and then he was poked in the forehead. With a normal guy, he'd just blink and rub the area effected, but for Memoria, he began hearing a dull rushing sound in his head, even as he listened to Aaron rant at him. Falling backwards, he scrunched his eyes up and covered his face with his hands.

"No... Not again..." Came a soft moan from Logan as things rushed through his head. Bits and pieces of Aaron's life flashed behind his eyes and imprinted themselves in his mind, and he could feel a headache building. He kept trying to focus to get it to stop, but the rush left him speechless and unable to force it to stop until it stopped itself. Finally, after a few minutes of seemingly being unconscious, a dull gray-blue orb flickered open, and tears came to his eyes for a moment before he reached up and wiped them away.

"Aaron! Really it's not that bad you don't need to yell at him" She winced looking down at Logan. Her expression quickly changed to that of surprise and then worry as she saw Logan murmur something before fainting. She was beside him in a second but was terrified to touch him, since thats what Aaron had done to trigger whatever was going on with Logan. She didn't know if it was Aaron's powers or Logans powers that were doing this. "Logan!?"

She looked up at Aaron angrily. "What the hell did you do!?" she exclaimed looking back down to Logan and sighed with relief when he opened his eyes, but the relief was momentary as she saw the tears start to spill out of his eyes. "You okay...?"

Stunned, Aaron simply stood there as Logan reacted, frozen in place has he fell over, Arkell rushing over to the boy's side. Her words finally brought him to.

"I... I didn't do anything, I swear! I mean, I don't even have any powers like that!" Powers. He could run away, right now, and she would forget who he was or that he had anything to do with this before she could get up and follow. It was very tempting, and so easy... how was he to know that this Logan kid couldn't be touched, or whatever it was?

As much as he would have dearly liked to, however, he knew it wasn't really an option. It wasn't like him to escape from things like this, even when he could, not to mention that it was very likely that there were security cameras about, which would remember him even if nobody around would. He got a little closer, kneeling down and tentatively holding a hand out to try and help him up, if it was just skin contact that caused...whatever had just happened.

"I'm so sorry... are you okay? Logan, was it? I shouldn't have done that; just been hectic lately, and I didn't see the harm in it... sorry. Probably doesn't mean much, but still."

Logan frowned at Arkell, before looking to Aaron. The tears started up again, and he shifted and sat up, wincing at the minor bump he could feel growing on the back of his head from where his head hit the ground when he fell. "I-I'm fine..." he mumbled, even as he wiped away tears and rubbed a temple idly to try and get rid of the blossoming headache. His eyes went to Aaron again, observing him, wondering.

Bits and pieces floated through his head... pieces of Aaron's history, his memories. How could he stand that? He now knew all of Aaron's mutation, the gender change, the forgetting and remembering. He didn't say anything about it, though, as he wasn't sure how the other would react with Arkell around to hear as well. However, he had a question he had to ask, and he sniffled and looked to the other male. "Do they remember you when you're not home? Your family?"

"They called it something weird, cyrokinesis, or something like that. Basically, I can sorta control cold. And can't stand anything even remotely warm." Aki said, shrugging and leaning back so her hands were on the ground, her arms straight. "When'd it happen for you? Near-death experience, or did it just happen?" she asked, refering to when he got his power.

She didn't know much about other people's powers, but the little she knew, it seemed that people were jolted into awareness of their powers. Like she had been.

"I lost my temper. Next thing I knew, I was seeing red and blue and yellow. How 'bout you?"

Lois looked at her behind mocha brown bangs. He still remembered that day clearly. The kid wouldn't leave his sister alone, and Lois took matters into his own hands. Of course, he'd gotten away with the whole violence thing, because the kid was too scared to turn in a freshman, but still. Lois had been pretty scared himself, when regular humans had turned into blobs of color.

Aaron quickly drew his hand back, as if it had been burned, and quickly stood and backed away, nearly tripping over Arkell in the process. A thousand questions exploded into his mind at once; how did Logan know? Was it the contact? Was he simply a mind reader? Did he get into the personell files? Even if he had, Aaron was on record as Erin. He shouldn't be able to know, any way he sliced it. He stepped back a bit more, his lungs working a little harder than they ought to be.

"What? I... I... no."

He couldn't take it. He had to leave; he had to make people forget. This was only the first day... everything couldn't be over already. He'd been kept away for months in study and training, given a new identity that people would actually remember; he didn't want to be known as this, some oddball even among mutants without any sort of useful powers. He turned and began walking off, willing with all his might that they would just forget, like everybody else, so he could just write this off as another bad day and not some form of disaster.

Lite looked up upon the dorms confused. He looked around at the different people asking them what they thought were silly questions: “Hey, do you know where the dorms are?” “Excuse me, is this… er… Pacis Salus Academy?” “Man, where are the bathrooms?” He was as clueless as ever and intended to find his way. After being instructed several times and eventually personally led to his dorm, Lite made the best of things as much as he could, it was a sunny day after all. He unpacked his equipment and looked at the window cautiously. He poked at it a few times, possibly expecting it to combust or something else ridiculous. I wonder if I can open it he puzzled. To his surprise, it opened quite easily, and he lifted himself upon the roof of the dorm and rested himself to look upon the clouds. This place will be awesome! The view totally tells me so! he contemplated. He made himself as comfortable as possible, using the air around him to let the breeze flow through his clothes and his mid-chest length dreadlocks.

Lite sat up after a few minutes of cloud gazing and shifted his view to his fellow students down on the grounds. "Man, I'm starving. I wonder if they have some good food," he spoke as if he were speaking to a bunch of idolizing children. He stood up and mindlessly leaped from the roof, slowing his descent only near the ground so he wouldn't harm himself. Looking around he interrogated plethoras of students trying to find the cafeteria. He eventually found his way there and got as much food as he could muster onto a tray. Unlike the students eating indoors, he opted for an outside meal. He ventured around, eating as he walked, trying to find a good spot to plop down and feast. He did so in the middle of the foreground, feeding himself without actually touching the food, but using the air to do the work for him as he lay down looking up at the clouds.

Arkell looked from between Logan and Aaron a very confused expression on her face. She didn't understand what was going on nor the exchange between the two, though she figured it had something to do with what had just happened and why Logan was still crying. When Aaron started to walk away she got up and started walking after him. "Aaron, hey, what's going on?? Don't go..." Her first day here and immediately things were going badly.

"Got dragged on another "family bonding trip"." Aki said, rolling her eyes. "Running away a day before a blizzard came through the mountains probably wasn't the best idea... Anyway, I got caught in it and then the cold just..." she trailed off, shrugging. "They found me perfectly fine a couple days later. Couldn't get far cause of all the snow. Then they tried to warm me up and figured it out." she shrugged again, not sure what else to say. "Can you control when you see in infrared? Or does it just happen?" She was curious. He didn't have a, typical, power. Or at least not one that she would automatically think of.

Logan watched Aaron wander off, and then Arkell was going after him. He shifted and stood, sniffling and rubbing his eyes. He wasn't sure if he wanted to wait for them to return, or if... He looked around a bit and noted some guy with dreadlocks eating. His stomach gave a growl, and he managed to get himself to stop crying and compose himself. While still outside, he lowered his face mask and cleaned up his face a little with a sleeve, before replacing it, and calling a quick, "Sorry!" to the retreating pair, before heading to the cafeteria.

It felt invasive, sometimes. To feel what someone else had felt, to know things he really didn't think he should know. Obviously, it upset Aaron. He managed to get to the cafeteria, through the line, and came out with a sandwich, a bag of chips, some fruit and a drink. There was a secluded spot behind the academic building that he aimed for, plopping down on a rock and looking out to the people on the field, wondering if he should've just kept his mouth shut, or not. "What? I... I... no." Logan frowned. Aaron's parents didn't remember him. What a sad mutation to have.

Aya opened her eyes. She sat up to see that she was surrounded by vast darkness. She looked around in hopes of seeing something familiar, only to see black. For a short moment, she thought she had gone blind. Then she remembered that she had been somewhere green. Somewhere with plants. She breathed in. She could smell grass and hot air, but she couldn't see either. She slowly stood up, reaching out to touch anything if she could. After a short moment she felt something. Some kind of wet cloth. She moved her hands over the object, trying to guess what it was. She felt something soft and thin.
Hair...
A sudden light came from an unknown spot in the darkness. She froze. Her younger sister, Mikayla's body lay in front of her, slightly spattered with blood and unmoving. Aya stared at the 6 year old in shock then looked at her hands. They too, were slightly covered with the crimson liquid. A sudden groan was heard and she snapped her head in the direction of the tiny body.
Mikayla had turned her head to the side, facing her older sister.
"Aya.."
Aya swallowed. "M-M-Mikayla?" she stuttered.
"Aya....why?" the girl asked. Aya stared, frightfully puzzled.
"Why....... did you hurt me? I thought you loved me Aya?" she continued.

Aya shot up from the grass with a gasp, blinking at the overhead sun. She looked around to find herself back in the small forest behind the cafeteria. She looked down at the blackened grass, panting slightly. She put a hand over her eyes.
"Just another nighmare. Not real." she told herself, getting up and brushing herself off, though some traces of the dead vegetation remained in her hair.
She walked out of the forest to see that she was back at the strange school she'd been shipped to. Seeing everyone tripping over each other, she blinked.
This is for 'gifted beings' right?
She shrugged and decided just to walk around aimlessly. If she sat down again, she might fall asleep. And she didn't feel up for another dream.

"I'm still working on that. It usually only occurs when I get angry or someone surprises me. But at night, it's night vision instead of infrared."

Lois sighed. Some people would love the idea of seeing like a cat. But to him, it was a pain. He leaned his head against the tree, the breeze refreshing.

"How long do you think we can manage to avoid everyone for?" Aki asked, dreading the thought of being locked in a stuffy classroom. No one else would notice the heat, only her. The one doomed to never be comfortable unless the temperature was sixty or below. Preferably cold enough for one one else to be anywhere near.
