Mac was walking along Destiny Island's main land. It was mid-day, and was pleasantly warm. He felt very calm, yet unsettled. He made it to the beach, sat down near the shoreline, held his legs close to his chest, and looked out to Destiny Island, the small bit of land that felt to him as though it were a historical place.
