Chen became interested, believing now that Athan may have some clues as to what was going on. But with him suddenly showing an unsure posture, he then took that back, as it seemed the armored swordsman was probably running theories through his head just like the Asian officer.

"Those robots must have been some sort of defense mechanism. I remember seeing this image on one of the missiles that robot shot at me. Don't know what it meant. That may be a clue as to what is going on here."

Chen was persistent because it came with the job. He was an Investigator of the Police, aka GPD, so it was natural for him to be talkative and persistent. Though he knew Athan was probably annoyed by him, given his personality thus far, Chen had a feeling he could get on the guy's good side and at least hold some sort of mutual connection. That way, that can be allies without the concerns of friendship. Athan was probably someone who had his social life somewhat broken by past events of "friendships." At least, that was what Chen could assume from his experience with these cases.

And Athan was lucky. Chen didn't really know of his criminal record, at least not yet. And even if he did, he wasn't someone to arrest a person so soon unless it was necessary. To him, some opponents of the law were more valuable outside of the cell than inside it. It was why he had so many connections in the underworld in the first place, both good and bad.

"Pipes....looks like they lead into some kind of underground sewers, from the looks of it. Should we check it out?"

"Right, irrigation tunnels."

Chen raised his hands lightly in a surrender manner before moving to the tunnels mention, looking down into them. They looked deep, but they weren't going to get anywhere by inspecting everything.

"Don't have to tell me twice."

With that, he heads down into the tunnels.

Draug's question got the attention of one of the regular guys that was set about to just guard the area and was informed that some of the others where exploring some water pipes to see if it was of any strategic value. At least that's what he gleamed from the man's mile a minuet way of talking that chattered like machine gun fire.

In the end he just turned and left the soldier while the talk continued at his back and went looking for the others hoping they wouldn't be so talkative. So into the tunnels did he go.

MEANWHILE SOMETIME NO PC WAS IN THE THREAD- Dramatic music was playing somewhere!

Mike was cowering in the APC while Cloud was desperately tying to open the door, whilst Cameron was fairly successfully holding him back.

"Can you stop trying to get us killed you moron!" Mike was yelling at Cloud despite being as far away from the door as humanly possible, "Do you NOT hear what's going on out there?!"

Of course what was out there was the sound of bullets flying, people screaming, and weapons... Many many weapons... Being slashed, thrown, trusted and what have.

"Take this! AND THAT..." There was a voice yelling very loudly as well, "COWARDS! Do you not want to fight? Is that not what you are here for?"

Quiet.

"Was that it! Are you now hiiiiiding like cowards." The voice echoed from outside the APC, "Never mind! I will find challenges elsewhere! AWAY!"

Much more quiet.

"It... It's over." Sigh of releif.

"Don't you know who that was!" Cloud made a few dramatic gestures, "He has to be here for me!"

And the moron made a dive for the driver's seat.

Mike and Cameron would attempt to stop him, but they couldn't hold him off forever.

+++Dzan came out of the tunnel and was walking out of the place. A big hole was in the wall and he'd chuckle. It was time to ditch these mother ********. Thus, he began to run out of it and towards a place...Where? Well, he wasn't completely sure. He could head...EAST! North Field here we come!

Dramon got up finally, the APC having stopped some time ago but while in meditation the discolored oriental had fallen asleep. Stepping out into the field of snow...Dramon yawned silently and stretched, the leather he was adorning squeaking abit.

His eyes gazing over the blanket of white a bit before and taking notice of movement within the snow. Lighting a cigarette, he wondered what his next course of action would be.

"Ummm Sir" A guard would approach. " I was told to instruct the other members of the mission when they came to..."

He blathered on for a bit and was surprised at his ability to sleep through three explosion. Dramon shrugged it off however, tugged his ebony staff to check it was secure and headed to east.

[North Field HO!]

Lazenca had awesome stamina, but he had the added worry of running from loud voices and gunfire. He did his best to keep an ear out behind him, to see if they were going to follow. From the sound of things, it didn't seem like they were being followed... the gunfire was getting farther away, though it was loud enough to be dangerous, even if only in his mind.

"I don't know, I didn't come this way on the way in. There should be a map somewhere... shows where the water runs. We can read the pipes and hope the maps have plain markers and keys so we can just go the way we need to go. Either way, we need to go quickly-- if those guys behind us get bored and give chase, we'll have some trouble in store."

Then he blinked, looking around. "We should probably get away from the plant too, if something's going to explode. I can slow and stop some water, but I can't stop the sea."

Bleu Ran to the nearest metal walkway and looked around "Laz do me a favor and looks south-ish I would say" Bleu pointed in a direction "Does that look like a snowfort to you?"
