Entering into the Palace Dome, he runs into the audience chamber, heading for the throne. When he stops in front of it, his right hand comes up, and once again, he uses his mental focus to try to find a greater reading than that of the spirits. Something, life forms, magical presences....

And Chen finds more of the same: palace workers, commoners there to meet their goddess, but no goddess herself. She wasn't there.

Tromping down the stairs, Kael was pretty sick of this city. Most specifically, the fact that it had magic all over, but none of it was at least functioning in a way he could notice and deal with. It was just there, somewhere.
And now, assumably, he was surrounded by spirits of people, though Kael was probably entirely unaware of it.
He was storming his way out, assuming nothing stopped him.
((Off to eat dinner, on auto follow behind Lahren. If something pops up that would interrupt us like ghosts or something, go ahead and cut us off.))

Lah wandered down the stairs a few steps behind Kael, moseying about without any real urgency. There was a tenseness in the air, but not much from here, and Lah couldn't pick up on it in any real way. Just an itching at the 'stuff is going to happen that could hurt me' sense he's developed.
Out and through the doors he went, using a foot to open it instead of bothering with his hands. At some point, for some reason, he'd gone from following to leading Kael.
Exeunt to Ascended Way.

Dragging some gibbering unconscious guy wasnt really cool. But after getting here, he let go and took a look around, scowl back on his face.
"Now lets see," he 'hmm-ed', "Which building would be the temple..."
Yup, trying to figure out which of the man buildings surrounding the area would he head towards.

The palace dome was quite a spectacle to behold. Possibly the most extravagant building Mozz had ever laid his eyes upon. Now fully armored, Mozz’s green furry skin was stark in constant to the white and gold, making it far too easy for people to spot him. Thankfully the way his mold was standing on end and the tingle he was feeling in his stomach made him feel sure that he had finally entered a unity field. For a moment He was shocked, as his mold stopped drinking the small bits of blood it needed to keep alive. However them old also didn’t die, it was in stasis, just like everything in a unity field.
“This is place is amazing..." Mozz placed a hand on the ground to watch as his mold grew without the need for blood.
He waited.
Nothing.
He tried again.
Nothing.
"THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!"

Y'know what? It was usually easier to see things from a higher vantage point. Hence, the term 'high ground'.
So, Tzenidaar went ahead and took the liberty to go up those stairs, and up into the upper reaches. Oh yeah, and he had to drag that guy along. Didnt want some suspect waking up and rolling away or something now.

It was then that Mozz noticed a man that he had never seen before, he was dragging someone. Dead? Knocked out? Mozz couldn’t tell from here. Mozz dialed into his communicator watch and called Joseph. “I’ve found someone, they’re heading into the domes in the next three days. I could probably use some back up, none of my powers work here.”
Mozz waited for a second… if this was any type of gaian, he was most likely screwed in his current condition. At the same time though, he couldn’t just let that poor man be treated like that; it was inhuman.
“Screw it! I’m going in after him. Will talk later.”
And with that Mozz chased after his query heading up the Palace dome, and to its upper reaches.

Down the stairs, rolling with Tzenidaar, falling into a pile and then just sort of falling flat on the ground for a brief moment as the past few seconds caught up to him. It was a miracle Athan's headset was still in place by the time he pulled himself free of the mass of tangled limbs.
"God...dammit!"
Assuming he got free without Tzenidaar going meanface on him, Athan would be up and running again.
"ANOTHER TIME, BRIGHT EYES!"

Deciding to do things on his own, Valkyarc hit the ground running as he ran past Athan while the big guy hit the ground, rushing out of the palace and then turning northwest to the central field.

Oh, he'd get free, but he wasnt going to not get meanfaced.

He was going to bolt right up, and chase right after the guy. It didnt matter so much that they were on the same team, since the chimera didnt even know who he was woking with at all. This was about beating some sense into someone. Especially someone who knocks him over, down some stairs, and then runs.

"Ouch..." even in the unity field falling down the stair hurt. It didn't do any permanent damage however. The man he was following was chasing the man from the robot fight. Screw it, it wasn't worth chasing them. He could save the poor hostage and that was all that mattered.
He got up and dusted himself off "What the hell is going on in this city.."
