"Sec... Doing some google-maps-quest s**t to figure out the best way to the residential zone and... Great."

He looked up from his wrist, "looks like they just went in a random direction."

Then he went back to his writst.

Deep rumbling sounds began echo in the distance.

Brrrrzzzttttt-----

And three, if not more snowmobiles came riding into view. All state of the art, just like the ones the others rode, but perhaps just a bit more 'touched' up. As they drove towards the edge of the snow, one snowmobile pulled out in front of the others and then veered sharply to blast a nice blast of snow right towards the group, or any of the group that remained could be seen.

However as the snow passed through the heat shield, it melted, and became a blast of rain. The rider, wearing a purple coat and goggles over the eyes lifted back the hood and lifted the goggles as her hair fell free.

"Told ya it'd be easy to find that lazy slacker!" She called back to the other snowmobiles who were just now pulling up. She flipped back her hair with a grin and then looked over.

"We miss anything important?"

One of the other men lifted his goggles back and grinned wildly. "So you did, Sammie, my girl. And here we are!" He stepped away from his snowmobile and strode towards Joseph.

"Good deal, old boy." And his big beefy hand came down in a slap to Joseph's back. He then grinned even wider as one hand gripped his shoulder with Bryant's arm around his back.

"Look at this Joey, my boy! We're going to know things no one before has known and then we're going to fix this whole mess. Right!" It wasn't a question, it was a statement. Nothing was going to stop Bryant if he had anything to say about it.

Raymond nodded to Joseph, glad to know that he at least had the right idea. Unlike everyone else though Raymond didn't immediately go off with everyone else...no, he opted to stay with Joseph, because he found him a sensible person and one of the few he put his trust into. That and he was his boss, and determined his paycheck.

"I was thinking the same thi-..." but he was cut off by a rather large dousing of snow, flung by none other than the head honcho himself, Mr. Bryant. Sure, the guy had the right intentions, and he was smart and well off...but he gave Raymond the creeps. Too eager to run headlong into danger.

"So Joseph, what sort of building would you think we should use? a house would seem a good choice, but we may need something bigger...perhaps a store or a restaurant. Something with amenities and a good source of power and a good location. Can you find any buildings on that map of yours you thin would be good?" he asked, peering over his shoulder while brushing the snow off with a free hand.

"Looks like the party is here," he looked up to the people arriving, and shrugged it off.

"'v'ry one is splitting. I might as well go the other way. Anyone have a cell t' buzz me when we find something or set up shop?"

He dug out his cell phone and flicked it open, pulling up the number. Considering he'd only just recently gotten the phone, he still couldn't ever remember his number.

"Well, here, anyhow," he turned the phone around and waved it around- basically just to give anyone who wanted a good look at the number on the screen.

Eileen took off her second jacket as she squinted at the phone being waved around. Jacket off, she tapped the number into her phone memory. "...eto...and how do you spell your name again...? mine is 867-5309, e-i-l-e-e-n." She blinked as she felt droplets of water hitting her, and glanced behind her. She smiled happily when she noted who it was.

"Well, good to see you guys finally got here..." and then his back was slapped, "Gah, yeah. I... We're gonna do all this stuff and more, huzzah."

He gave a mock arm pump/swing. And then grinned at the rest of them.

"He's my plan we go into the District of steel, take note of any particular factories, we may need them later... But for now we're gonna be making our way to the subway, seems like the quickest and safest way to the actual residential area."

He was making a line on his wrist thingy.

"From there we can go to the high class area, and turn a mansion into a fortresss." A cough, "Oooor maybe just a comms centre."

"No need to, hun." And Sam climbed off her mobile and went over to Bryant's bag, reaching in and pulling several little walkie talkies out. "Range is 5 miles, so should be enough to cover. Use the phrase '3 days' before any transmission so we know you're okay." It seemed Sam had previous experience with this type of thing. She started tossing them to anyone who seemed to want one.

She grinned over at Joseph. "That little watch of yours is real handy." But she nodded as he spoke, and then added a quip. "Yeah, a mansion is the only place for this group."

With someone looking, he went ahead and held it still for her. He was still sorta acting jerkish- leastwise it was how he felt- but on the other hand he was still feeling like that tingling was just waiting to start screwing with his insides or head or something.

"Eh, yeah, one sec. It's Ka-"

He paused, and frowned. After all, he specifically didn't want people recognizing him as one of the fighters from that televised tournament. He didn't need that kind of reactions during this. But one the other hand, he didn't like the idea of giving out his actual name.

Well, screw it. Might as well keep it consistent.

"Kael. K-A-E-L."

He took a deep breath, and jotted the information into his phone real quick, and was almost immediately right back to feeling edgy again. If anyone else wanted a look, he'd let them see the phone. Otherwise, he was about ready to head off into the city opposite the way everyone else had gone.

"Works for me," he mumbled, regarding the tech-guy's plan. With his snow mobile still out on the snow, he didn't have much to pack up though.

He'd simply wait anxiously, telling himself it was some kind of science, not magic, for everyone else to be ready to move.

And here came the one person who wasn't with the rest of the group, moving through the air. Not nearly as nice as his motorcycle would have been, but it and snow didn't get along. Still, upon seeing the people gathered there, Allen was glad that at least he wasn't going to have to spend a lot of time unting people down again.

It wouldn't be too long after he had flown in and spotted them that he would be landing off to the side, but close enough that they'd know he was there, dematerializing his wings once he touched down. Then, rather than say hi or anything, he would just watch and wait. No point in butting in yet after all, when they likely already had a plan.

Raymond nodded in approval, all in all it sounded like a good plan. Now if only the others hadn't been so hasty and ran off willy nilly. Sure, they had been hired because they were qualified individuals, but that didn't mean that...well...they had all the common sense in the world.

"Only thing is Joseph...that's quite the ways we have to go. Let's just hope we don't run into anything that won't be happy to see us." he said as he moved off a few feet, catching the small radio he had so been tossed.

"Thank you kindly miss." he said with a nod as he moved back to his own snowmobile, which unlike everyone else's was pretty much bare. On the back was strapped his backpack, and that was about it. Undoing the straps he let the backpack fall to the ground as he stripped out of his arctic clothing, all of which came undone with some unzipping. Under that was a rather bulky looking ballistics vest and a pair of Blue jeans, rather simple but it got the job done. On his hip was a rather wicked looking knife, held in a leather pouch. With some shoving he got his arctic clothing into his backpack and hefted it unto his back along with his rifle.

"I'm ready when you are Joseph."

*beep beep beep, beep* A slight pause while trying to find the L, and Eileen had input Kael's number into her jPhone, right along side the other three whose numbers she had been given.

"...ano, sumimasen...that name sounds kind of familiar." She blushed, as if embarrassed that she couldn't remember where she'd heard this name before. Then she turned when Kael addressed someone behind her, in time to see Sam presenting some walkie talkies to Joseph. She blinked, and said quietly, "ooh, give me the frequency is that's set to...i can make use of that later."

"So useful I don't need the walkie talkies, got all I need right here." Tap tap once again on the wrist.

"Kael, from the tournament right?" He responded after the spelling of his name, "Good to see you patched up, and that seems like the sound of someone else..."

He looked over at the newcomer and was decidedly happy it wasn't someone who wanted to kill him. He gave a overhanded follow me this way gesture.

"Once again, here's hoping we don't run into anything that wants to eat us." Another shrug and grin, "Or maybe we should be hoping we DO. It'll probably be a pretty obvious clue and all."

"Anyway, let's head out."

"You don't deserve one anyways," She teased before beginning to dig into her saddle bags. Sam gave the frequency to Eileen. "Just remember to use the code before a transmission. It won't stop any messing around, but could at least limit misdirection and let us know if something is wrong that you can't say." But even as she spoke, she was pulling her coat off and stuffing into one of the saddlebags of the mobile, and pulling out several packs that she stuffed into her purse that was strapped to her side.

Then she pulled out a rifle as well as checked the gun strapped to her thigh and placed something in her ears. "Everything checks out." She muttered and locked the mobile. She knew Joe could call in reinforcements, but she'd rather not lose anything.

Eileen nodded quietly, and tapped the number Mozz had given her, while taking off her third and final jacket, placing them on her snowmobile. She gave the surrounding homeless people a bit of a dubious look, then shrugged and jogged back towards Kael and Joseph while her phone rang. "...i'll let the others know where we're going," she said when she caught up, while nodding to Sam.

With little more than a shrug Raymond followed after Joseph, unslinging his rifle as he did. Never hurt to be prepared. With a pull of the slide on his Ar-15 he made sure it was loaded, and with a small flip of the safety switch he made sure it was safe to carry, until he flipped the switch again. He was ready if anything should jump out and attack. And so he went, off to the industrial section with Joseph and whoever else was coming.
