So it appears that I magically moved in, I had a house and didn't know it, and it put it right where you reserved it for me. I'm confused, but happy.

even if it runs out, there will be a vacancy there, that anyone can still use i think, and i doubt anyone would go around purposefully jumping on a vacant spot.
what bothers me is that a bunch of the kindreds (who i might add rarely visit here anymore) have set up house in their own area (1836)

Well, there are definately more than 6 Kindreds, so I guess it makes sense that we'd need multiple neighborhoods.
I found out that if you click on the Status button, and find your friend, there's a funky little logo under their names that you can click on that takes you straight to their house - so it's no biggie to "teleport" from our block to theirs.

it wasnt so much a fact that they even set up an additional neighborhood, it was the fact that they didnt tell the rest of us about it, and didnt bother inviting any of us either.
