Anna Mnemi 'No, Doctor, this is just... a hairdryer. Yeah, a hairdryer.' 'A hairdryer that kills people?!' '...Yeah, and?' It blows them away. whee (Sorry, bad pun) Writingpen You can flirt for only so long before you both accept it and figure out what comes next. which would be a big nada seeing that he is a Timelord !!! Not to be gross or anything but besides maybe "dating" and making out I don't se any physical possibilities for that particular couple. Hmm... I've always thought humans and timelords were kind of compatible that way since it has been suggested that the Doctor is "half human" in the 1996 Movie. (I don't believe it though. He's 100% timelord in my book.) But because of that and considering the timelords look just like humans on the outside I've always thought hybrid half-human-half-timelord children are possible. Though it would probably be kind for sad the timelord who might outlive their partner and children...

RogueModron And, yeah, that guy with the Dalek skirt is probably Davros. There's no point in not showing the top half of the Dalek if it were just a normal Dalek, since there's Daleks all over the rest of the trailer. Unless it's not Davros, but some other dude sitting in a Dalek wheelchair. Hmm... Imagine if it was actually Rose in the Davros chair... Nah. More likely to be Jackie. xp

Naterbee Richard_Swift Interesting, isn't it, that they've foregrounded "the Doctor doesn't like people who carry guns" so heavily over the last few episodes? (Though can you imagine if they'd done so when he travelled with K9? "I can't talk to you when your nose is like that!")True that, but if it's linked with anything to do with the daleks... I think that it would be an exception. *nod nod* I agree, Daleks are special. In "Doomsday," the Doctor told Jake and the other Pete's World guys to tune their guns to the skin of a Dalek, so maybe Rose's huge arse gun does that.

Rose would be brilliant though, especially if they had her as a recurring maniacal villain...

Rose...Eh....She had her time, not to thrilled about her coming back... You know what companion I wanna see? ROMANA!

RogueModron Anakoreta *Will Not Cheapen Doomsday* *Will Not Cheapen Doomsday* *Cheapens Doomsday*
Yep, Rose is comin' back, and I for one am not that happy. I liked Rose best with Nine, and this gun-totin' darker newer Rose is not exactly the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Rose. I don't mind that Rose is coming back. As long as she dies FOR REAL this time. Because she promised me she'd die at the beginning of 'Doomsday', and she totally lied... razz Trufax. Seriously that be the ultmiate "Doomsday" ending, no coming back for Rose. Unless they pull the whole entire "Turn-one-of-the-team-members-into-a-whiny-zombie" thing that happend on Torchwood.

Aww, but Owen is so much easier to stand now. xD I used hate him... Till he died.

Unless they pull the whole entire "Turn-one-of-the-team-members-into-a-whiny-zombie" thing that happend on Torchwood. Got this off Outpost Gallifrey, about the Piper inteview in DWM 396... Billie promises another healthy quota of tear-jerking, heart-rending moments in this year's finale. Are those sorts of scenes as exhausting to perform as the technically-complex effects sequences? "It's just a different kind of intensity, but equally as intense, because you really have to focus. You're imagining things, seeing things, that aren't there. That takes a lot of concentration. But this series will make you cry. That’s a promise."Makes me even more convinced that someone's gonna die (or regenerate) this time 'round.

Yeah, I kinda really doubt there's gonna be any regenerating... Unless The Doctor can pull another timelord outta his butt. (Disturbing imagery, sorry) 'Cos David has told everyone quite firmly that he's coming back in 2010 as the Doctor. Sorry to disappoint anyone who was wanting otherwise. Yeah, someone may die, but this is Doctor Who, lots of people die. But I think Rose chooses this Alternate universe in the end, which would be a tear jerker for some.

Actually, he's only confirmed he's in the specials in 2009. Nothing has been confirmed for 2010 (except Steven Moffat as showrunner).
