Suzura nodded an ok and held out her own arms to make it easier for Skye to pick her up. She was feeling excited to learn something new. It was always a rush.
"Umm...I think I will watch for now, but I might try later if I feel up to it..." Syrus said, waiting for Skye to lead the way to the place that was going to be Suzura's training ground.

Skye lifted Suzura in her arms and held her close to her chest, cradling her almost like an infant, and smiled at Syrus.
"Okay," she agreed cheerfully. "And maybe when I have to go home Suzura can teach you some of what I teach her, and it will be good practice for her, right?" She giggled and headed off towards the great oak tree, where the grass was short and the ground mostly flat - but she walked backwards, so that she could watch Syrus as she walked, just in case he said something more.

Suzura wiggled slightly with glee and kept looking from Skye to Syrus and back in pure energetic excitement.
Syrus nodded as he followed. "That sounds good" he said, making sure to watch out of the corner of his eye for things that just might trip Skye, seeing as she was walking backwards and all

Skye giggled and bounced Suzura a bit in her arms. "What means, sounds good?" she asked curiously.
After all, words pertaining to the sense of hearing were mostly out of her vocabulary. She had learned once what hearing was, but she hadn't really understood anything more than the fact that most people could know what other people were saying without even looking at them, and that it had something to do with their ears for some reason.

Syrus blinked a few times, trying to figure out the best way to explain what it meant. After grabbing a few words in his mind, he smiled a little bit.
"Sounds good is a phrase that means 'It seems like a good idea', or close to that," he attempted to explain, shifting his small round glasses as a nervous habbit.
Suzura was just enjoying herself right now in Skye's arms, a wide grin of amuzment on her face.

Skye smiled and nodded in understanding. Yes, she could understand that!
"I see," she said gratefully, swinging Suzura around once before setting her on the ground. She smiled up at Syrus again. "Where would you like sit?" she asked him softly. "Somewhere we not hit you ... maybe ... up in tree? You can see lots from there, just like birds!"
She straightened and stuck her hands behind her back again, smiling warmly at him.

Syrus looked up at the tree and then back to Skye.
"The tree seems like the best place to watch," he said with a nod, and went to work in pulling himself up to the closest branch that looked like it could support his weight.
Suzura, gleeful and grinning, looked up at Skye, giving a quick twirl in excitement. 'So what are you going to teach me first?' she asked, ready to learn

Skye watched Syrus climb the tree, then turned her attention back to Suzura.
"First," she giggled, "you have to know how to stand good ... like this."
And she stood, back straight, legs together, one foot pointed forward, one to the side, her arms held out straight behind her, but lowered. She turned her head to look over at Suzura and see if she was doing the same.

Slowly, Suzura attempted to shift her body so that it would look like Skye's as much as she could. The hard part was keeping her legs so close together without using the curve of her spine to keep her in balance. She wibbled a little bit, but as soon as she got her arms in around the right place she stopped being so off balance.
After she got herself steady she looked back at Skye to see if she was close.

Skye smiled warmly at her little student. "Very good," she beamed. "But ..."
She knelt down next to Suzura and turned her feet ever so slightly so that the girl would be facing the right direction - after all, running into a tree was no fun - and then put one finger in the small of her back and touched it gently so that she would straighten a bit more.
"Can hold that?" she asked, smiling encouragingly at Suzura.

Suzura, seeing as she didn't want to move her hands from where they were, simply nodded, though her back did start to move back, but she was quick to fix it to where Skye had placed it before.
Syrus now had finally gotten comfortable in the branch he had chosen to sit in, and now was watching quietly from his perch.

Skye smiled and nodded, then rose and resumed the position herself.
"Is called, starting position," she explained, "so if I say, take starting position, you go like this, okay?"
She smiled warmly down at Suzura, completely lost in the lesson now and oblivious to Syrus's attention from above.

Suzura gave a firm nod once more and then smiled. Starting position. Everyone has to start somewhere.
She watched Skye intently, waiting for the next set of instructions.

Skye giggled. She found she was very much enjoying having a student ... maybe someday she would be just like her own teachers! The thought crossed her mind and then fled again. No, she would never be able to do that ... everyone around her had always told her how difficult it was to be a teacher, and how much hearing was required in order to know what the music was really doing anyways.
No, she would be happy to stay here, doing what she was doing.
"Next," she smiled, " you have to keep your arms where they are ... but now we go forward ... one, two, three hops!" And she showed Suzura what she meant. "And if you want you can use wings, it makes it look like you flying even if you not!" She giggled.

Suzura blinked, watching her teacher. She was about to move and try what Skye had just shown her, but she wasn't sure if she knew how to do it right. Quickly she moved her hands in front of her in attempts at communication.
'Again please?' she asked, then placed her hands back where they were supposed to go.
