Bloodless Amber Right, the pronunciation... XD According to the order of the letters shown above: A B T TH J KH (guttural H) CH (somewhat similar to the German ch, only more guttural) D DH R Z S SH S (heavier) D (heavier) T (heavier) DH (heavier) A (guttural) G (guttural) F Q K L M N H W Y Arabic is difficult to pronounce. I really can not make those sounds, so I guess I'm not the right person to turn to on the exact pronunciation of those. I suppose it's possible finding recordings over the internet. What do you mean by "guttural"? xp

Quite gutteral... http://www.languageguide.org/francais/grammar/pronunciation/consonants.html Listen to the one at the top. ninja Yes, it's quite similar. @Spanishnerd: Guttural means it is produced in the throat. You can listen to examples on this page. http://www.shariahprogram.ca/Arabic-alphabet.shtml

Yeah the kh is said like the "ch" in "loch", its like a....rolled k in the back of your throat I guess, thats the only way i think to explain it.
The "H" is the coolest sounding letter, its a breathy h that's pronounced by constricting the back of your throat a little and trying to make an "hhh" sound. This h makes words sound so cool! And the "Q" is a basically a q pronounced with the back of your throat. And its the "ghayn" letter that's pronounced like the French "R"

um ok lemme make sure I read this right is it translated:
ارموا اسلحتكم و استسلموا rmo sleHtekem oo steslamu?
is it something like drop your weapons and surrender? ya the sentence structure is right... but on the second word *hunts through phrasbook* I think "your weapons" would be "sleHekum"... i think.... do u know what dialect it is?
