Proudly_Jewish You know, Hebrew really is unique. I don't know of any other language that has both masculine and feminine numbers eek Arabic has that too. 3nodding Well, you'll soon notice EVERYTHING in Hebrew is either masculine or feminine. And I do mean everything. I think it might seem very, very confusing for those who don't speak Hebrew as a first language - getting the verbs right is kind of complicated. That's why, in my opinion, it's better to learn Hebrew by speaking and listening to it, and not by memorizing the grammatical rules. They're just way too complicated and illogical. It seems to me that the program Berlitz has is perfect. I wouldn't mind giving such lessons, hey, I have a microphone.

Thank you so much for the lesson this morning! blaugh I really do appreciate it ^_^ It helps a lot to hear the phrases 3nodding Can I ask for one more favour though? http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=3169075In this thread (which is in the Multi-lingual GD sub-forum of this guild) there's a discussion about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Can you just take a few minutes to explain why you're pro-Israeli and such? I mean apart from the fact that you actually live in Israel and all, can you just quickly explain how Israel never belonged to Arabs anyway (it was an English colony before 194 cool , etc? A lot of the discussion is in French but the idea is that you can use any language that's not your mother language, so you're allowed to write in English. 3nodding I'd really appreciate it if you could do that sweatdrop I'm the only pro-Israeli in the thread right now and it's hard explaining the obvious to the Goyim xp
