Bloodless Amber Przepraszam, ja nie mowie po Polsku . (And that's pretty much ALL I can say in Polish.) Me too...I can't say anything else clearly, but I write O.K. in my opinion.

I'd love to be able to speak Polish, (I'm half Polish, and it's all my nana speaks, so it'd be helpful to be able to understand her). My father tried teaching me some, but he can't pronounce it properly and he can't read or write it, cause he left Poland when he was four and was made to learn English as soon as he arrived in Australia. If anyone knows how to speak Polish, or knows any useful websites, it would be greatly appreciated!

today, at the trainstation, an elderly woman approached me and my friends and started ranting in polish... (well, we think it was polish because she said the word "poland" alot) i think she might have been slightly deranged..i think she was compairing the sanitation conditions of american train stations to ones in poland.. none of us speak polish but she was making hand guestures like crazy and threw in the words America..poland and bacteria.... ...but it was really cool.. the language sounded awesome..er..then she said "sorry baby!" in english, patted my arm and walked away..it was kinda strange..

For all of those wanting to learn Polish I'm here to help ya smile Polish is my native language, so yeah, should have no problems with it smile ... you wanna start somewhere in particular?

Tak w ogole, duzo ludzi w tej gildii mowi po polsku? smile I'm Polish, and my Grandma speaks it. I've tried to learn some, but it's quite difficult...but pretty! heart Maybe you could give me the very basics with pronounciation? biggrin

Nie umiem polskiego eek
I fell in love with "i tak dalej" and haven't really recovered yet.
I will definitely learn to speak Polish, remotely far away in the future.
