Nabbing the spare clothes, Demy slid out of his chair and ran off after Spence.
"Wait up!"

Spence ran into his room before letting the boy catch up. "Hurry up and change so we can play!" the boy urged. Walking to his closet, he dug around in a large toy bin, searching for something he felt like playing with.

Veering off, the boy ran to the bathroom to quickly change. Once done, he took his bloodied clothes to Mrs. Sparks before running back to Spence's room.
"I'm back Spencey!"

Spence, meanwhile had pulled out a pair of laser shooters. "Lets play outside! You're the alien and I'm the hero!" Spence instructed, shoving one of the guns at Demy.

Demy took the laser shooter, blinking at it a moment before looking back to Spence. Tail wagging, he waited to be led off outside.

Spence grinned a bit, his tail wagging in equal excitement. "PEW PEW!" He shouted, imitating laser noises as he pointed the gun at Demy. Whirling about, he charged off down the hall, heading outside and away from the evil alien before it had a chance to recover.

The boy flinched before realizing it was simply a harmless laser. Giggling,k he ran off after Spence, shooting his own gun at him.
"PEW PEW! I'mma getchu Spencey!"

Spence grabbed his arm as though he'd been hit. "OW!..PEW PEW PEW!" He shouted, "firing" at Demy as he dove behind one of the cars in the driveway.

Whimpering, Demy dove behind the other car. Ears flat, the youth stayed put, almost afraid to look back out and try firing again.

"PEW!" Spence shot at the back of the boy's head. "GOT YOU! I win!!!" the elder boy shouted in triumph.

Blinking, the boy turned around to eye Spence. Head tilted a moment, Demy studied him before quickly lifting his gun and firing off a shot.
