Here's another thing that gets stuck in my head all the time:
"When "I" and "E" go walking, the last one does the talking."
Weiss, I sound.
Vier, E sound.

Velvy Dubix I feel stupid that I cant actually speak it because my family never wanted to teach me. But eh i''ll try Guten tag, mein freunds. Wie geht es Ihnen? Ich nein sprecken Deutsch gut, aber ich verstehe! =3 Probably got all that wrong but yea...I do understand better than I speak... which is better than I can type it thats for sure X3 if anyone wants to help me i''d be more than flattered=3 *fascinated we have two people from germany here* I want to move to germany after college, since I''m german... just been in the US since I was little so... Whereabouts do you two live curiously? We lived in Oberammergau, and Dad used to board up in Munich. Wait , I''ll correct you a bit smile Dubix Guten tag, mein freunds. Wie geht es Ihnen? Ich nein sprecken Deutsch gut, aber ich verstehe! =3 // Guten Tag , meine Freunde. Wie geht es euch? Ich spreche nicht gut Deutsch , aber ich verstehe es. But you can say "Hallo" or "Hi" too. Guten Tag is more...formal. Maybe If you''re talking to older persons or to persons who have got a higher job level then you have whee Also you dont need to say "Wie geht es euch" its easier to say "Wie geht''s euch?" or "Wie gehts" ^^ It''s a lil bit shorter ^^ You''d like to work in germany? Or just want to make holidays? I''m living in Bremerhaven (in the north of germany) since two years Have your parents got a job in the usa? @chocfudge Irgendwoher kenne ich dich *denk* (thanks for the corrections by the way) this is true...but I use everything in high german (haucht Deutsch...give or take the spelling) in the formals... because of that whole du and Sie differentiation... and when to become "casual"...so its easier^~ and also... to live for a lit... work live love visit=3 I have some relatives down there... =3 and my great grandpa and grandpa were high up in the military related to germany...so <3 I just always thought it'd be neat... not to mention that i'm unnatrually attracted to guys who are and can speak german ... like my stepbrothers best friend sweatdrop heart

Umm...I started taking German a year ago. I don't know a lot, but can figure out most things. It would be neat to talk in German online, but a lot of german words have umlauts (sp? the 2 dots over the letters) how do you get those on the computer?

On an English keyboard, you have to press down on alt then type in certain numbers, I can't remember which ones... however, please note that typing accents and/or umlauts is forbidden in this guild because they do not work on gaia.
