Celebor blinked, somewhat startled.
"Just because I said our first meeting was brief," he protested, "that doesn't mean that this one has to be!"
On the contrary, if he was honest with himself he had to admit that he didn't want it to end for quite a long time.
He had had someone kneeling over him like that once before, but all he had felt at that time was irritation, the feeling that he was being crowded and that he wanted more space ... but now ... he didn't feel like that at all. He didn't mind Niyana being where she was ... the way she was ... not at all.
Now he had reached a dilemma. He didn't want to stop. He didn't know what might come next, but whatever it was, he wanted it to come. But at the same time, he knew that whatever it was that he wanted so badly was forbidden to him at the moment - because, despite not knowing what it was that he wanted, he knew that it was something special, reserved only for mates, and that mates were for life. For love.
Which begged the question, was was he feeling? He hardly knew Niyana, could he love her? His heart was telling him yes ... but how could he know for certain? How could he know what love was? He had no experience, not even in just a normal relationship with a girl!
But he knew that this was anything but normal.
"Niyana?" he murmured softly, his brow furrowing anxiously.

Niyana nods, "I know...I don't want this one to be short either...I am really enjoying your company Celebor."
Unlike the young prince she didn't fully share the same morals. She knew not everyone did things out of love or with the one they loved. She always wanted to do adult things first with the one she loved. And she didn't know know what she was fully feeling for the young prince.
She looked over him and moved back to sitting over him her hands away from his sides and lean back to give him more freedom. "I am sorry....am I making you uncomfortable Celebor?" She reached up to moved her braid back behind her. Her thick shirt lifting a bit exposing the long yellow tie ribbon around her waist.
She sighed. This surely had to be pure lust. She was just getting so caught up in her little day dream. She didn't know anything about Celebor but he was stirring up feelings within her.

Celebor's brow furrowed even more and he moved to one elbow so that he could look at her again.
"No," he said honestly, "no ... I'm not uncomfortable ... I just ..."
He hesitated. What if he said the wrong thing? Scared her off? Would he be able to live with himself?
Well, he reasoned, if she did leave him, then it meant that she wasn't the one for him, and he wouldn't have done anything wrong.
"I just ... was wondering ..."
His eyes were drawn by her movement to the lifting of her shirt, and he swallowed hard and quickly moved his gaze to her eyes, his face reddening once more.
"I was just wondering ... is this ... love?" he finally managed to say. "Because ... I can't ... can't keep going like this ... not unless you're the one ... mine ... forever ... as my mate ..."
He bit his lip, wondering if - hoping - hoping desperately - that she would understand, that she wouldn't be angry, or laugh at him ... but it was important, it was a matter of honour ...

Niyana lowered her arm and looked at him her arms resting on her hips.
"What were you wondering?" she watched him blushed and moved her hand down to feel over his cheek wanting to make sure he was not growing ill.
She looked into his eyes her hand rubbing his cheek softly ask he finally asked her. She felt heat rise to her own cheeks and she looked down, "I...Well to be honest I don't know.....I have never been in love before."
She looked back up at him with a soft sad smile. "I know...we should not continue on if we don't know if what we are feeling is true. I am very sorry...I guess I was getting carried away....you are doing things to me....though I do not know what they are."
Smiling warmly she leans forward and kisses his cheek, "You are a true gentlemen my lord." She watches him, her eyes seemed to show she understood what he was trying to say.

Celebor turned his head slightly to kiss her cheek as she did his, but he missed and got her ear instead.
"I don't know what's happening to me, either," he murmured, reaching up with one hand and placing it against her cheek, brushing her nose gently with his thumb, "but ... I think this is love ... I think I love you ..."
He swallowed hardly. "Neither of us has loved before ... but isn't that an indication that love comes only once? Is it not possible ... that that is what this is?"
He stopped himself. He was getting carried away, and he knew it. Just because he wanted something to happen, that didn't mean that it was happening.
"I'm sorry," he murmured, lowering his eyes and his hand. "I'm putting pressure on both of us ..."
But how could he know?

Niyana laughed lightly as he kissed her ear. She leaned into his hand and smiled at him. "Well it could be love..."
She smiled at him. He was so bold and being so brave she turns and kisses the plam of his hand. "Well neither of us do know what love feels like and for some lucky people the first time when feel it it is the real deal. This could very well be love my dear lord."
She smiles at him and reaches up to take his hand. "I think I am pressuring us as well. I know what I am feeling if strong. But I don't want you to regret anything you do with me Celebor."
Could this feeling be true? She had never met many people and Celebor was the only male, of the three she had met, that had started a fire within her.
She reached a hand up to run her fingers threw his hair. "If you think we should take things more slowly we can do that...and see...if this really is love..."

Her words were not matching her actions ... she said they could go slowly and see if it was love ... but her fingers in his hair ... her lips on his hands ... his heart was pounding, thudding so powerfully in his chest that he couldn't think straight ...
He took a deep breath, twining his fingers with hers, his eyes watching her fingers as they grasped his hand, remembering how they felt, kneading the knots out of his back only a short while beforehand ...
"Yes," he breathed finally, closing his eyes and attempting to catch his breath. "Yes ... we have to ... take it slowly ... and find out if this really is love ..."
He was hoping desperately, with all of his heart, that it was.
He cracked his eyes open and smiled at her, leaning forward once more and placing his forehead against her.
"And," he murmured, his lips brushing against hers as he spoke, "I think I'm starting to enjoy ... hearing you call me lord ..."

His hair was softer than she thought it would be. She really was starting to hope that it was love. She wanted this to work. The prince and the orphaned warrior.
She looked down at his closed eyes and blushed. She would love to wake in the night to see that handsome face. She shook her head. No she should not be thinking like this so soon.
She watched him move and shifted back a bit to allow him to sit up fully. When he lay his forehead against hers she moved to lean hers against his and smiled at him.
She looked into his eyes and down feeling his lips brushing over hers. She looked up at his words her eyes sparkling brightly into his she wanted to get lost in his eyes, "I am sorry i could not help it. I am only using it as a term of affection Celebor...I think do love you..."
She laughed softly and shifting she moved off of his lap keeping her forehead leaning against his.

Celebor's eyes grew bright at her words.
"And I accept it as a term of affection," he whispered, his heart beginning to pound once again. He turned his head slightly and brushed his lips across her cheek, then rose abruptly to his feet, his hand still holding hers.
"Come," he said warmly, tugging her to her feet as well. "When I found you you seemed to be searching for something ... I imagine the search will be more enjoyable with company."
His eyes gleamed as if he were teasing her, but he wanted to do more than just sit ... he knew that to find out if love was real, they had to find out what it would be like to do other things together ... more things together ...

Niyana smiled and nods as he would allow her to call him her lord and she gasped as he took her hand and tugged her to her feet.
Laughing she nods, "Yes I was like always searching for some dye and more henna plants...oh I forgot to ask, did your sister like the plant I sent back?"
She smiles at him her hand still holding his. She did enjoy his teasing eyes it seemed finally he was fully and truly relaxing with her.
I hope I didn't bore him, or don't bore him for that matter. She thought to herself. She still could not believe she had tried to seduce him. She hoped he was feeling the same, and it really wasn't just her.

Celebor was feeling, for quite possibly the first time since he had met her, not at all embarrassed. He had thoroughly enjoyed what had just happened - though he had to admit, he hoped that she didn't think he was bored or scared of it, just because he was changing their activity.
"She loved it," he assured her, drawing her close and linking his arm with hers. "She still has lots left, though, so don't worry about finding more for her today." His eyes shone as he looked at her. "Today," he murmured, leaning over and whispering in her ear, "is about you, with me." And he leaned just a little bit closer and kissed her ear once more.

Niyana smiled, "I am very glad she has a great natural talen..." she stoped as he moved to link thier arms. She laughed softly feeling like a lady for once in her life and then gasped softly as he leaned in and whispered too her.
"Alright my lord, just you and me....and this beautiful day." It truly was a wonderful day. She had never had such a great day, no jealous or too much worry.
"Well I guess we should get to know each other better then...to see if this is what we think it is..." she smiled at him, "If you are always saving the children and others you must be a good fighter right?"
She tried to move the coversation towards less tempting things for she knew she would find a way to get him back in the long grass. She laughed at the thought.

Celebor flushed a bit when she called him lord again, but this time it was with pleasure rather than embarrassment - though he did feel a little embarrassed when she laughed, thinking it pertained to the comment about him being a fighter.
"Well, I mostly snipe," he admitted, "so I haven't really been tested with hand-to-hand weapons ... we try to get rid of the slavers as quickly and quietly as possible so that the children are kept out of as much danger as possible."
He relaxed a bit. "What about you?" he asked. "You're a warrior ... you must be an excellent fighter - or bodyguard at least, considering how much you wanted to serve me at first." He chuckled at the memory.

Niyana smiled and kissed Celebor's cheek, "Oh I see...I was going to say we could spar sometime. But I guess you are right it would be better for your line of business to take them out from afar."
She laughed and nods, "Well I don't know how well I would be...I mean I can work a staff pretty well...and well I am not to shabby with a dagger." she winked, "Oh I would still like to serve you one day," She let go of his arm to duck down and cut a small herb from the ground, "In one way or another."
She looked up at the young handsome prince. It was truly surprising that he did not already have a wife. But with all the action he saw she was not surprised.
"You really do amaze me my lord. Your such a great male, caring and sweet to your family. Protective and strong with those children who need you. You are a very fine prince...and a even better man."
She stood and placed the herb in a small pouch in a thin pocket next to her henna jar.

Celebor flushed self-consciously.
"You're just flattering me," he mumbled, though he had to admit it felt good. "When I was a surprise, my Mom was sort of dating this guy who ... turned out to be a jerk. She broke up with him, and I haven't seen him since - but Mom was so upset afterwards that ... it killed me that I couldn't help her. I swore that I would always help anyone I could, wherever and whenever I could ... that doesn't make me a great anything."
He paused as she put the herb she had picked away in the pouch.
"Besides," he added, "I still don't think I'm doing enough. I only go once a month as it is ... I spend way more time in this world, or in Gaia. If I were truly a great man, I would be there all the time, spending all of my time getting those kids out of their horrible situation."
He spotted a plant that looked similar to the ones Niyana was picking and knelt to pluck it from the ground. "Is this right?" he asked, holding it out to show her.
