"Sure." Lucky said happily. Then the filly cantered out towards the field after touching Max. They where playing tag.
"Hi nice to meet you." Sundancer said to Dancing Flames. "Yes you may join if you like."

Azumi laughed and cantered after the filly. He had never really got the chance to play with other foals. He tossed his creamy mane prancing around.

"thank you, Sundancer!" Dancing Flames lifted her head and flared her nostrils, pricking her ears at the sun, feeling its warmth on her flaming chestnut pelt. without even thinking about it, Flame started flociking about. i know this is always embarising for a grown horse like me.....but i still love it! Flame returned to the herd, ready to graze.... ((more later! :3 nodding))

Arina looked up at the new member and said, "Hello, I am Arina, the lead mare of this herd, and yes you are welcome to join our herd." She then looked around and walkled over to Sundancer, "Just to tell you for next time Sundancer, it is up to me or Whisper as to who joins the herd. I know you were being kind, but this is just to let you know."
Max whinned and raced after Lucky, and playfully nipped to her when he caught up. Then wheeled around and raced away calling, "You're it!," over his shoulder.

Sundancer nodded. "I understand." She said. "I'm sorry."
Lucky laughed and raced over to Azumi and touched him before calling "Your it!" and galloping into the forest.

Azumi laughed running after Max. He caught up to him bumping against him gently. "You are it!"he called galloping away.

Lucky trotted away from the others and behind a tree so they wouldn't see her. All of a sudden she herd a loud growl. She froze. Lucky turned to look and saw a wild beast lurking towards her. She screamed with fear and galloped as fast as she could out of the forest but the beast was on her tail and pounced onto her, making her thump to the ground. The beast was now ontop of Lucky so she couldn't get away. Lucky screamed with fear.
Sundancer looked up from the first call of her filly and before anyone could go after her she jumped into action and galloped towards the wild best.

Dancing Flames saw Sundancer galloping towards her filly. " NOO!!" cried Dancing Flames. Flame raced to the couger and reared, her ears flat. She Will DO ANYTHING to protect her new herd, and its foals. bringing her hooves down on the couger, she bashed it with her sharp flinty hooves, and biting it with her strong teeth. She got the cougar off the filly and tried to run the cougar off. After a deep cougar swipe on her ear later, Flame finally succeded in running the cougar off and away from her herd. Snorting in exhaustion, Dancing Flames plodded to her herd and collapsed on the ground. my ear is bleeding, yeah.....soooooooo tired tooo.... she thought, not comprehending how bad her ear was. Dancing Flames sighed. She had fought agianest a cougar and won, and now she was tired. Dozing, Flame let the nice sun warm her tired, flaming pelt, for she wanted a nice nap.... soon she fell asleep: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Lucky whinnied happily to Flame and nuzzled her before she fell asleep.
"Thank you Dancing Flames. Thank you alot." Sundancer said as Lucky nuzzled her mother. Sundancer nuzzled back Lucky.

"Are you ok?"Azumi asked galloping up to Lucky. He had always been a sweet sensitive young foal. He nuzzled the little filly.

Arina got up and raced over, even though the cougar was gone. "Is everyone alright?" she asked the herd, she saw the gash on Flame's ear and saw that she was asleep. "Flame," she said as she nudged the mare awake, "We need to get that ear cleaned off."
Max nuzzled Lucky also and then laid down beside her, he was scared and tired as well.

Lucky sniffed. "Yes i'm ok. Just a little scared." The little filly said nuzzling Azumi and Max back.
"Where fine." Sundancer said as she to nuzzled Lucky again.

Dancing Flames snorted as she got to her feet. " i'm coming, but i'm not fully awake yet." Soon, the sleep was cleared out of her eyes and was able to follow Arina to a small pond. "Um..." Flame twitched her hurt ear, wondering how to get the blood off her ear. Twitching her other ear, she heard the rising and falling hooves of the foals playing, Sundancer grazing, Arina next to her, and somehow she couldn't place Whisper, he was silient, and she didn't know where he was. Dropping her head to look at the water to look at her reflection, Flame whispered "Sundancer and you are so lucky.....you have foals and a Stallion to keep you comanpy when your lonly, sad, etc, and i have no one to keep me company, nada... no foals, nothing. i feel so left out..... i don't know how to place it, maybe you can help?" Flame kept looking at her refletion in the water, hoping it would make her feel better, but it didn't. It only made her more misable and finally, one tear slipped from her eye, making way for the dam of tears to flow.

Arina nuzzled the other mare comfortingly, "It is okay. I know what it is like to be alone also, but now you won't have to be alone again. Now, dip your head into the water to wash the gash off." She watched the other female and waited.
Max yawned, then stood and stretched his long black legs.

Lucky was still shaken from the attack. She whinnied weakly for her mother.
Sundancer nuzzled Lucky before lieing down with her and checking her over to see if the wild cat had done anything to her.
