Perry chose that moment to go over to Jole's. He knocked on the door, shoving his hands in his pockets. He smirked slightly when he remembered Charlie's frustrated smile, but didn't help her. Wasn't his fault she didn't understand Greek Philosophers.

The old sign with one letter missing made Abby's heart stop. Just by the sight of the outside made Abby think of old memories.
Nothings changed. She thought. Carefully, she walked in and took in all the details. Everything was right where she left it. The red booths now a little faded with age. Then she saw it. The jukebox.
How could something so old seem so beautiful? Abby thought to herself. She didn't realize how much she really missed it until she saw the old thing. She noticed someone sitting by the window who looked oddly familiar. At first she hesitated.
"Charlie?" She asked.

A sharp knock on the door made Jole look up. He stared warily at the door for a few seconds, contemplating whether or not to answer it. Then, taking a deep breath, he called out, "Who is it?"

"Perry!" He called out. "You DO know I have a key don't you?"
Charlie's head shot up, her eyes glistening. YAY! A distraction- no better! ABBY! She shot out of the booth, throwing her arms around her friend's shoulders. "ABBY!" She shrieked.
Perry's ears perked. "You'll miss Abby!"

Abby hugged Charlie tightly. "I've missed you so much." She pulled away. "Let me look at you. Well, you haven't changed one bit. Don't get me wrong I like it that way." Abby looked at Perry. "Hey Perry, is it too much to ask for my usual?" She asked. "I'm starving."

((Perry's next door at Jole's house)) "But look at you!" Charlie stepped back, grinning. "Wow!" She sighed. "Yeah, me. The same. Except with more homework than is humanely possible."

Of course Jole knew he had a key. This interruption didn't bother him in the least. He settled his head back into his hands and called out, "I'm not in the mood right now, bud."
"You'll miss Abby!"
Jole's head jerked up, his eyes wide and dreaming.
Abby...
"Abby's here?" he shouted out, a lump rising in his throat.

(Hehe.....I knew that)
Abby nodded. "I understand. My college professors just love to give us as much homework as possible." Again Abby looked around. "This place hasn't changed for sure. So what have you been doing since the rest of us left?"

"Yep, just walked into the Waffle House... aaaaawwwh, they're hugging! You're missing out on the hug fest Jole!" He took the key out and prepared to put it in the lock.
"Not much." She shrugged. "Mostly the same, 'cept I met a guy." She grinned at her friend.

Abby raised her eyebrows. "OoO. And who might this be?" She asked. Abby leaned in. "Is he cute?" She asked giving Charlie a wink.

"He's Billy, he's in my English class." She smiled, winking back. The cue for 'Yeah, he's cute'. "He doesn't seem to like Jole though..." She looked out the window, not sure if that meant anything or not. Many people didn't like Jole... well... maybe.

"Billy? His name is Billy?" Abby put her hands on her hips. "Billy's probably jealous." She said nodded. All the guys in her college became jealous very easily. By now she was used to it and assumed that every guy was the same.

Jole heard a key turning in the lock, and hastily jumped up, brushing his hair with his fingers. The door swung open to reveal Perry, who stared at him with a knowing expression on his face.
Jole's breath caught in his throat, and he leaned around the doorframe. He could just make out the Waffle House, but dusk had already fallen by now, and there was no way he could make any figures out inside. He swallowed nervously, the weight in his chest tightening and pulling his insides together.
"You're not pulling my leg, are you?" he muttered, his eyes darting back to Perry.

"Well, we were hugging just before he walked in..." she trailed off. "Yeah, that's probably it." She smiled at Abby. "Anyways, you want food?"

"Yes! Please! I'm starving and I have missed the food here!" Abby looked around. "Where's Perry?" She asked. Usually, Perry automatically knew what to make the second she walked in the Waffle House. "Is he sick today?"
