Laughing a little with both Kaki and Serena, Amber replied, "I am slighly famished as well. I saw a jar of cookies on top of the shop counter just now. I wonder if they could be eaten. There was something funny about it when I saw it while walking into the shop though..."

Walking slowly along, Rimi neared the store she'd heard so much about. Apparently this was where she'd come from, or at least that's what she'd been told. Now, she hoped by going back here so could get some answers about herself and others like her. She'd never met any others like her, but her owner, Misty, had shown her some pictures of others in bright and dark colors. The ones who wore dark colors scared her, they just looked mean. But the bright ones, they looked beautiful and friendly.
She was coming here while Misty was at work, she'd snuck out unnoticied, and now before her was the place she seeked. Slowly, sitting for a moment, she sucked in her breath. This had been a tiring journey, and inside she hoped that she'd be able to sit or lay down somewhere.
Then, she walked in.

While turning over to look at the cookie jar she was talking about, Amber noticed a purple and orange winged female walking into the shop... From the look of it, she must have been walking all the way here herself. Amber walked slowly towards her.
"Hi, my name is Amber. What is yours? You look tired as well... Want to sit down at the couch over there?"
Trying to suppress her curiosity so as to not irritate the female, she points to a soft and comfortable looking sofa.

Rimi was immediately attacked by a peppy orange color female headed her direction. Cringing away slightly, she nodded at her, acknowledging her. She then looked away, embarassed by this forwardness. "...Rimi," she mumbled, still looking away.
Sitting down, she realizied she was really tired and might as well take up the female's offer. Smiling slightly, and blushing beneath all her fur, she moved toward the plush couch.

Rain mumbled something incoherently and rolled over a bit. "Ugg fine." She make a face and rubbed her face with her paws. "I'm coming, I'm coming." She leaped easily down from the bean bag chair and landed gracefully. She turned to look back to Yukai.

Seeing that Rimi was embarrassed, Amber tried not to scare her anymore. And after seeing her seated on the couch said, "There. Isn't that much better?" Amber smiled at Rimi, trying to lift the tension off the female kit and wondered how she could make her feel more at home here.
"I guess you must have come from here as well. How does it feel like to be back? Although you do not remember it... Do you? I don't. But I do have a most pleasant feeling being here,"

Yukai looked confused at Rain and followed her out to suddenly see a new female. She was angelic too! He felt excited! "Hello... Nice wings." He ruffled his own as he went to talk to Rimi, forgetting about his hunger. This kit was so brightly colored, it made his eyes hurt.
Kaki grinned. "Cookies! Good idea!" He jumped up the counter, he had some touble but he made it up and found the jar. "Does everyone want some cookies? How many?" He pulled out two for himself and waited for answers, his tail wagging. He spotted the new female and waved to her from the top of the counter.

Turning about in a circle before laying down, folding her legs delicately beneath her, she then turned her attention back to the peppy female. Nodding as she seemed to talk ever further. The last part struck her though, this all did seem pretty familiar. She closed her eyes, trying to remember when her thoughts were inturrepted yet again by a party of kits emerging from somewhere else.
One talked to her and commented her wings, this was the first male kit she'd ever met. She opened her eyes when she heard his voice, and immediately was nausated by his dark appearance. Cringing back away from him, she "growled" slightly, slinking back into the couch cushions. Why was he so... Dark? It made him seem like he was filled with an evil power. Yet, he had angelic wings like her, it didn't make any sense!
Her focus was only on him as she hissed slightly, pulling back further and fluffing up her fur and wings herself, trying to make herself seem larger than she actually was. Even though the other kits were much larger as they were older then her.

Yukai felt hurt. She suddenly growled at him and looked very angry and scared. What had he done? He blinked confused then suddenly got angry himself. Fine! If she wanted to be like that. Without another word, he turned around, frowning, and stormed off. He wasnt threatened by her, infact he thought of her mostly as a joke, but he was certainly angry. He was just being nice to fellow kin! He walked into the kitchen and sat infront of a counter and started to whack his head onto the cabnets over and over again. Trying to calm himself down.
Kaki looked alarmed when he heard the whacking. He saw Yukai banging his head. "Woah! Yukai? What happened. And stop that! Its bad for your head!" He jumped down, forgetting about the cookies for a moment to take care of Yukai. Kaki rubbed the place where Yukai whacked himself a couple times.

Amber looked at Kaki, wondering if she should have a cookie when a sudden hostile air filled the room. Looking around to see what that was all about, she saw Rimi fluffling up her wings and Yukai stomping out of the room. Amber flinched when she heard noises that sounded like someone is knocking his head onto the cabinets in the kitchen.
Running over to Rimi, Amber tried to calm the girl down. She does not look that angry. She looked slight scared and sick as well... 'What is going on!?'
Amber tried calming Rimi down. "It is okay. Yukai is a nice kit. He would never hurt a soul," Amber flinches some more as she heard more banging and saw Kaki running into the kitchen to care for Yukai.

She hissed some more as the kit stormed off, before finally stopping. The peppy fox then came to her, infuriated in a sense. She seemed to blow up in Rimi's face. Rimi looked away from the kit, she apparently didn't understand the evil that that other fiend held within him. Slowly licking her paws, as if they were wounds from her previous battle, she settled herself back down on the couch.
"He's evil," was all she stated to the peppy fox. She stared calmly up at her before glancing over toward the kitchen where violet bangs and yips could be heard.

Yukai frowned even more, a small trickle of blood ran down his forehead. "Why did she seem so freaked at me?! I was being nice!" He said, slightly growling. His wings drooped at his sides as he irritatedly scratched at the floor.
Kaki sighed and started to lick the blood comming off his forehead. "I have no idea what you are talking about. She must have some bad past experiance with you then." He licked his chops and smiled at Yukai.

Amber looked at Rimi and contemplated solemnly. 'Maybe bright coloured kits just do not like dark coloured ones...'
"You should never judge someone by their appearance. Yukai maybe dark but he has a heart of gold," she says slowly.
"Why don't you two make up? I am sure this is just a misunderstanding," Amber tried to get Rimi to get up from the couch.

She listened to noise from the kitchen, it sounded as if someone was hurt. Then she turned her focus to the peppy kit again, this kit was very persistent. Maybe it hadn't been the right decision for her to have come here today, maybe she should've waited for Misty to come with her.
Frowning, she listened to her comments about appearances. 'But he is evil, why would one wear such a dark coat if not to show his true colors.' Standing up, she hopped off the couch. She looked over her shoulder at the peppy fox, "Doesn't everyone just wear their hearts on their sleeves, Amber."
Walking slowly and carefully to the kitchen door, she peered inside. A small trickle of blood came from the dark kit, 'why is he doing this! My comment shouldn't have hurt him one bit.' She fumed in her head, not understanding the world. Her ears twitched with irritation, 'why doesn’t everyone just say how they feel and look like what they are!'
Wings thrusting out to the side, she walked toward the kit, moving in front of his line of sight. There, she looked him straight in the eyes. "You're a fake, but you shouldn't hurt yourself trying to deny your nature." She stated this calmly, no fluctuations in her voice.

Shade padded silently into the shop. The blood-red chopstick swayed from a silver collar, engraved with the line "Will find the light," as taken from his personal haiku. It felt odd for a fox of his age to grow so soon. He had made seldom friends as a kit, but was curious to see if anyone else grew as well. A disruptance came from the kitchen. He cast a breif, longing glance at the dark corner of the shop where he wrote his poetry.. It was not his nature to pry into another's buisness, but the sound from the kitchen area was unsettling, and would not put his mind to rest. Revealing a small sigh, the dark, red-masked male trotted over to the kitchen's doorway. His silver eyes gave a questioning glance to the kits as if to ask 'Is everything alright?'
