Well you always had the best defensive tackle combo in the NFL, but Jared Allen really improves your pass rush. You join teams like the Giants, Patriots, Cowboys, and Chargers.

I think jaguars will have a great season and a possible super bowl but its kind of to early to judge.

Adams is a Pro Bowl type player, and the Bucs have a good pass rush, but are just below the tier of elite teams I mentioned.

And the Browns will definitely improve, but their acquisitions are overhyped. Shaun Rodgers is overrated and overpaid. He did a decent job in Detroit, but did not perform at the level which I thought he would.

Well the Browns could have improved their secondary or gotten another primetime free agent linebacker with that money.

...But yeah, that Rodgers INT highlight was a tear-shedder. Especially the stiff-arm and dive at the end. What surprised me most, though, was how the Lions somehow slaughtered the Broncos in that game...

i agree, they should have tried harder for Asante. They coudl sign Takito spikes, hes a gret LB with some years left in him, and why not give Trotter a try, he can still make big hits, and is good on special teams

Trotter is a great LB. I'd pick him up in heartbeat if I didn't have one of the hardest hitters in the game already. EJ Henderson ftw

They could have tried to sign a lot of defensive free agents, who have already proven themselves in the league. Kearse, Samuel, Gay, Colvin, Vilma, Spikes...maybe even make an offer for Jason Taylor?

Well thats the problem, they couldent offer for taylor because they had nothing lol, they traded their picks away before jason was "on the market" per say.

Well that's just Jason Taylor. They really could have offered new deals to other defensive free agents. Despite acquiring Shaun Rodgers, their defensive line was still bad, but not the worst defensive quality of their team, which was the secondary. They really could have pushed to get Asante Samuel, Takirto Spikes, Gbril Wilson, or Randall Gay.

Tha Carolina Panthers r looking pretty gud.
I hope they can go 2 tha playoffs and tha super bowl dis year.
Jake Delhomme iz healthy.
Steve Smith iz Steve Smith.
We got Deangelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, and Lebrandon Toefield az Running Backs.
We got Mushin Mahummad back.
Hopefully Dwyane Jarett does gud in his 2nd year.
D.J. Hackett can b possibly another gud wide reciever in tha mix.
We still got Julius Peppers.
Jon Beason iz pretty gud.
We got anotha LB in tha Draft which iz Dan Connor, I hope he iz a gud edition.
I hope Ryan Khalil can do betta in hiz 2nd season.
Another edition 2 our offense iz Jeff Otah.
I think our defense haz sum unknown namez there since Jenkins,Morgan, and Minter have gone.

To adress a few issues.
The Vikings really don't scare me as a team as of this moment.
They do not have a average Quarterback in Tavaris Jackson. When teams stack 8-9 men in the box, even All Day can't bust thier backs.

Tavaris has an exciting battalion of recievers in Bernard Berrian, but he's a nice downfield threat, with great speed and hands.
Thier Defense is very good, but had they gotten Asante Samuel it would've been so much better. Thier Pass D, is nothing short of terrible.

My team? Philadelphia.
McNabb turned it on with 3 meaningless games last year to get us to 8-8.
However, his stats were impressive in those three starts.
I see DeSean Jackson being a poor mans Devin Hester, but our offense goes in the shakey knees of Brian Westbrook. However he goes, the offense goes.
If he stays healthy for 16 games and L.J Smith returns to form, Philadelphia can win 11-12 games.
But one injury, and they're boned.

@JCSB1993- Bro, Trotter is washed up.
He has rickity knees, and is injury prone, and is slower than Byron Leftwich. He isn't a complete LB anymore. Is he better than any of Phillys OTHER MLB's? Yah. But E.J Henderson really isn't the hardest hitters in the game.
xDDD
Thats laughable.

Patrick Willis FTW. 174 tckls creams henderson's 118.
In fact Willis had a 135 SOLO tackles on a San Francisco Defense that has literally no stars to draw the attention away.

OH YEAH BBY.
[ oh. FIDDLESTICKS] IS BACKKK

I actually think that the Saints will win the NFC South, but I think the Panthers can make a threat at the wild card spot. They deeply improved their offense, especially with their running game and receivers. Plus, Delhomme is healthy. Dan Connor was a day two steal in the draft. Jeff Otah was a nice pick, and it was good to bring in Muhammed and DJ Hackett. The only draft risk I saw was taking Jonathan Stewart early, when their were better backs on the board.

The Panthers linebackers are alright, but they need secondary and defensive line help. They're not like they used to be on defense (like 3 years ago).
