I think that Hatori plans on Tamaki and Haruhi, based on how the story's going, but then again, mangaka's surprise you, that's why they're mangakas....

Hikaru x Kaoru is my all-time favourite, there's just something really enticing about their brotherly - and forbidden - love. The thrill of doing something that's considered very wrong and loving someone that looks just like you - WOW.
At first I was all for Tamaki x Haruhi, but after I realized Kyouya (at least my RP Kyouya) has a huge crush on Tamaki, I'm torn between the two pairings. Which one to choose? Tamaki x Haruhi, which is totally cute and sugary and the princess gets his prince type, or Tamaki x Kyouya, the best friends and opposites attract type? I love pairings where the two are best friends at first (like Kyle x Stan from South Park or Taichi x Koushiro from Digimon), but Tamaki x Haruhi somehow manages to be extremely cute, and I really like it despite the fact that it's very cliched.
I don't knoooow, choosing is too hard D8
I've read a couple of Twins x Kyouya fics too, and they're somehow very, VERY interesting. Well, they're my top three characters, so... biggrin
Because the topic is "Pairings?" and not "Which pairings are your favourite", I guess I'll say something about the pairings I don't like, too. This is not meant to be offending towards anyone, I respect everyone's opinions on pairings. biggrin I don't hate the people that like these pairings, only the pairings themselves. ;3
I hate it when one of the twins is paired up with someone else than the other twin. So I don't read fics or look at fanart that contain the twins but is something else than Hikaru x Kaoru. When I really like a pairing, I want them to have a happy ending. And I really, really like Hikaru x Kaoru. But I do see why people like Hikaru x Haruhi, for example, or Kyouya x Kaoru. :3

They're just so lovely together. I love how Kyouya secretly has a soft side for Haruhi (and dare I say, Tamaki).
Of course, I don't mind KyouyaxTamaki, either. ;3 The whole best friends thing is so sweet. 3nodding
