"Youre welcome" a voice rang back, it belonging to Coven but if anyone else herd it, they would probably have wondered who the bodiless and faceless voice belonged to.
"Right, now that shes gone" he said as he picked up the basket, walked in and shut the door behind them, nuzzling her after her triipping over her garland "careful" he said hoping she was alright "you alright?" He asked as he looked around this place also. Deco had only been here a couple or times, three tops, he didnt really like comming here much, not like some of the others in the herd. Deco always found contentment in surrounding himself with decorations or doing something christmasy regardless of what time of year it was, the others in the herd liked to come here and chill out instead so thus why he had only been here less then a handful of times.
"It is beautiful, Raven and Moonlight did a beautiful job on this place, deffinatly a favorite spot for my herd members, I just dont usually come here, it isnt that i dont love the place, I do, just that the herd members, more times then not, come here to chill out and rest. I am happy just doing something christmasy or surrounding myself with decorations or something to chill out then have the need to come here, so this will only be my second or third time here" he said as he took in the beauty of thi place as much as he could.

"I'm okay. Thank you..." Garland said as she straightened herself out. She took the garland and put it in its proper place. She would have to be a bit more careful about where it fell.
Garland listened to the other and smiled. "I can understand that. I love decorating too after all. I would do it all day if I could. It's just..." She paused and looked around again. "It's weird, but I find a place like this inspiring... to do even more decorating. I want to make everywhere as beautiful as this. Every single little room, garden, everything... Especially around Christmas time..." She laughed a little and looked back at Deco, happily. "Maybe that's kind of weird... Oh well. We should probably start the picnic now, right?"

"If its weird then please, by all means, call me weird to" he said chuckling "then again I guess since decorating IS a talent of ours, it is sort of understandable" he as he opened up the basket, pulled out the blanket and spred it out before starting on spredding out the food ont said blanket. "Please, take a seat" he said as he gestured towards the picnic blanket moments later, assortment of food on the blankets, everything from ham and cheese/cheese and tomato, lettace and ham and two or three more choices of sandwaches to choose from in the sandwhiches department to different cake slices and even a Strawberry cheesecake and a ouble chocolate gataue.
The chocolate strawberries were there, white and milk and an assortment of muffins, scones, a greek salad, chicken wraps, coleslaw, cheesy bread sticks and more, Coven really did go all out but what was he complaining for? All the food looked delicious and thankfully she had packed plates and silverware to "I guess, take your pick at where you wish to start?" He said wondering what to eat first himself.

( Sorry for the delay. Got back from vacation like at the begining of the week so I'm catching up... ))
Garland look over the assortment of food. Coven seemed to have gone all out for them, or at least it looked like she had to Garland. There was so much to choose from afterall. She wasn't used to seeing things like picnics appear like magic so she wasn't very sure if this was a big deal or not, but she pleased with it. The greek salad had caught Garland's eye. She loved all kinds of salads, but she hadn't seen that type before. "That salad looks good, have you had one before?" She curiously asked Deco after deciding to start with the salad. She took a bite of it and smiled. She liked the taste. "Oh it is as good as it looks," She said after swallowing it down.

Though I guess im sorry for the late reply now to? I just decided to check in here... XD;; ))
"Salads I have had" he said as he sat down next to her "but as for greek salads, no, I have not" he said, glad she liked the picnic and dished some out onto a plate for her and himself "thought you might like it" he said as he licked her cheek and handed her a plate as he placed the other in front of himself. Deco reached over and gt a couple of ham and tomato sandwhiches and placed them on a plate, starting to nibble at his salad "your right" he said swollowing "it is good" he finished before taking another bite.

(( YOu're only a day late. O.o; THat's not even late. I'm the sad one... <<;; *mumbles and wonders how she managed to almost forget to post for so long* So sorry. ;~; ))
Garland took some more of the food, wanting to just taste a little bit of the wide selection that seemed to be there. A small smile appeared on her face as she ate. Clearly she was enjoying herself quite a bit. Here she was with someone she felt was very close to her while eating a nice little meal. It would be difficult not to be happy in this situtation. "I have to say, I don't think I've ever been as happy as I am right now. Today just seems so.... perfect."

"And I completely agree with you on that, today was perfect" he said as he kissed her temple and then pulled away and blushed...that was WAY to foward even for him and yet it felt so right to do "s...sorry about that" he said softly before he decided to hide his blush by pouring himsel a glass of orange juice and taking a sip.

Garland's face turned scarley. A... kiss? He had kissed her? She felt like she could felt. "N-no! I don't mind at all... I mean..." She bit her lip and looked away for a moment as she debated on what to do. She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and turned away so he couldn't see her. "There... were even. And... Y... You're very sweet."

Deco blushed more and carried on drinking till his glass was empty and poured himself more juice and drank half of that glass before putting said glass down and clearing his throat "I...thank you but I could and I do say the same about you, though more then me I think" he said as he felt his blush start to slowly die down a bit.

Garland shook her head. "No... You've done so many nice thngs for me. There is no way I'm that sweet..." She said, almost murmuring it. She was begining to grow shy. She looked away to look at all the sceneary around her. "Thank you again for... for the lovely meal and everything. Everything was perfect."

"Your modest" he said as he nuzzled her once more, finding her shyness cute "but i swear, you are THAT cute" he said as he got a double chocolate muffin and broke it in half and offered her half "youre welcome, but then, I would do anything for a beautiful lady." Deco said as happily, half true with the sentiment, given that she was the only beautiful lady he wanted to do stuff form, the sentiment, obviously, wasnt 100% true but that wasnt important.

Garland took the comment a bit more negativly than the male probably meant it. "Any beautiful lady..?" She questioned after taking the chocolate and murmuring another thank you. So she wasn't special to him or anything? Well she wasn't surprised, but she felt a little betrayed. "I see...." No longer did she really want to be here. "I... I think I have to go home now. They're probably... uhm... wondering about me."

And these two had children!? Lets hope their children are better around the opposite sex then their father is... XD; ))
Deco bit his lip, great, he had REALLY put his foot in his mouth this time, he nuzzled her and shook his head "the sentiment, while I admit wasnt one hundred percent true, I meant that he only thing I want to do things for is you, im sorry I said the wrong thing, I guess im still not used to the adult way of thinking. But please stay? I swear I didnt mean it like I said, belive me, you are special but what I meant was, that in this place, there are beautiful ladies, you are most beautiful, but if one needed help, im not about to just ignore her and walk on by.
I meant it in that sense, not that you are just the 'common, run-of-the-mill beautiful girl', you beauty surpasses any other girls, I just am the kind to help others, regardless of their beauty, thats all" he said as he thought over what he said and realised that didnt sound much better. "And I guess I lso dont know how to talk to woman..." he said with a sigh "I guess you can leave if you want, I obviously have been a child far to long and I need to do a bit of mental growing up, im sorry for upsetting you, it wasnt my intention" he said sincerly to the other.

OH! HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY! I forgot to say that I think. o__o; Your birthday is on Thanksgiving huh? Wow. I've met people with Christmas brithdays but that's a first. If I get some more gold I'll try to get you a gift soon. You gave me something for my birthday and all. ))
Garland listened to him and thought over what he said for a while. She didn't look at him directly for some long moments. "Fine.... I'll stay, but I do not wish to be compared with beauty wise. Sure, I like being called pretty but...." She stopped mid-sentance. "Nevermind... It... It's alright. Just be yourself." She forced a weak smile. Yes, now she understood what he meant, but she wasn't a hundred percent sure about what was happening here anymore.

Right, so that was cleared up but now what? He sighed and nibbled on a strawberry "so..." he said as he smiled at her, unsure what to say now, he was a tad scared what to say also, he didnt want to screw this up but he knew talking could either have him dig his own grave more so or he could end up being rude if he didnt talk, could he win? He didnt know but he didnt want to take either risk yet they both cancled out each other and thus he was at a loss at wat to do.
