The dragon looked down at Paroparo with his strangely colored eyes before giving him a soft smile. Odd that he would find someone like this a comfort to be around. He was oddly happy to see the Fae clinging to his side as he was. It must mean that he was at least rated higher then the things in the museum that were scaring him.
"My favorite food? I would say certain types of sweets rate high on my list followed by various sorts of meat so long as they are prepared right." He said, to him, "The sweets I like far above the rest are the ones I make." Making them on his own allowed Carys to be picky.
"How about you?" He asked, posing the question to the Fae.
The walk toward the coffee shop was relatively relaxing, the night air was much cooler then the air within the museum and it was much less crowded as well.

The purpled hair man looked up at the dragon a bit in shock. He felt his eyes go big and round as the dragon explained that he liked sweet foods...just like him! He kinda figured that the half dragon also prefered meat.. it made him shudder inside but he could understand it. Tolerate it anyway. The sheer fact the dragon like candy made his day!
"Really? Gosh! I love sweets and candies! I ..I would be honored to try some of your home made treats.." He nearly begged as he found nothing more alluring than a fresh sweety! He gave a flip of his hand as he giggeled a bit.
"I work in a bakery! So I am surronded by sweets all the time!"

Carys thought on it for a long moment, seeming to be considering something important. There were so very few people he allowed in his apartment, in his most personal territory. Kern, his mother, and his father were the only ones to set foot inside... it would be a rather big step for him. It seemed like it should be the next step after the first couple he'd taken, the first being going on a date with Paroparo, the next allowing the Fae to hold onto him.
"If you would like I can cook something special up for you sometime." He offered the Fae.

Giving an excited sound in his throat the fae moved in to hug the half dragon's arm. His purple hair getting a bit messy as he basically snuggled into him for joy. The dragon was going to cook for him! That made him so excited he couldn't slow his heart down. Now he had to choose something appropriate to wear..
"I would love that! I should have you over sometime as well!" He pipped up after a moments thought. He would need to clean house though...and he panicked a moment wondering if the dragon might think him a bit too gay with his bright colored walls....and jars of sweets everywhere.
It seemed his original fear of being eaten had passed for the moment. Sure to resurface if he actually stopped long enough to dwell on things.
As they neared the cafe, short fae could already smell the delightful aroma of the pastries. He nearly drooled but managed to stop himself as he looked up at Carys his eyes shinning.
"What would you like? My treat!"

Carys turned his attention to the shop, doing his best to keep his stomach from grumbling but failed. He flushed a little bit before giving a grin, "Rather hungry I am up for almost anything." He said, moving forward to open the door to the cafe for his date, stepping back so that Paroparo could go in first and he followed after him.
The scents of the cafe inside had the half dragon nearly drooling. The counter was glass revealing all sorts of treats that were both pretty and delicious looking, each of them seeming to be a work of art made of our sweets. He starred at them a moment before giving a chuckle, "What I make won't look nearly as pretty as these." He warned the Fae before pointing at something rich, chocolate on the outside and mousse on the inside, and in the shape of a pyramid.
"Those are really good." He told the Fae before ordering one for himself. If Paroparo picked something else he would share with the Fae so he could at least taste the delicious treat.

Paroparo looked more than just eager to eat something from the selection in front of them. Without hesitation he ordered a strawberry tart a one person sized mini cheesecake a vanilla mouse cup as well a hot chocolate for drink. He quickly corrected it to be two hot chocolates.
Looking up at Carys he hoped the man wouldn't be annoyed with him presuming he would want a hot chocolate as well. He offered a quirky small smile .
"Um...I hope you don't mind I ordered you a drink.." He murmured his ears hanging a bit low like a puppy expecting to be beaten.

"I don't mind at all, hot chocolate sounds good." He said in an assuring voice, not wanting for Paroparo to think he would be angry at him for such a simple thing. He looked at the Fae's ears and couldn't help but look a little worried. He looked a bit unsure didn't he? He wondered if his date was still worried due to his dragon blood?
"You shouldn't worry so much Paroparo, I assure you that I am quite even tempered." He told him, he felt the desire rise in him to help pay for the treats and drinks but didn't want to insult the Fae who had said he would be paying for their stuff, "Shall we sit in one of the booths in the back? More privacy there."

Looking quite embaressed the fae's ears drooped a bit more he forced a smile though he still looked a bit abashed. Fiddling with his cup as he picked it up absent mindedly.
"Ah...s..sorry. I guess I am just...nervous...its be been a long time since I've been on a da...date." He stuttered feeling a bit foolish for being so nervous about it. It was their second date after all. He perked up a bit more as the half dragon mentioned sitting int he booth he nodded his head liking hte idea of having more privacy.
"D..do you mind holding the drinks? I can carry the treats..." he asked shyly.

Carys nodded his head, reaching over to pick up the drinks before they headed back to the corner where they could enjoy the rest of their conversation in privacy and peace. They were a rather interesting pair and it was the strangeness of the two of them together that the half dragon was starting to enjoy. He would be more then happy to be able to spend a bit more time with the Fae... and as they ate their treats, drank their drinks, and talked he started to plot... he had an idea for their next date and he could only hope that Paroparo would see it as something fun... not as Carys trying to get him alone so he could eat him.
