Nathaniel gave a final glowing green glance at his would-be companion and nodded, a small grateful nod. Yes. He had appreciated this boy and their small chatter. It was really quite interesting to find someone who had an open mind and a knack for intelligence. There was a way about him that made Nat comfortable to discuss strange topics and not feel judged. He wondered if it was because the boy was polite and simple, or perhaps something deeper. But he did want a repeat of this encounter. It might be good to see him again.
And with these thoughts in mind, he closed up his books, and turned to More for the last word. "Thank you again for the pleasant conversation. I hope we might talk like this again sometime, I would enjoy it..." And with that, the British boy was gone. Back to dormitories and studying, back to the world where time seemed to move again. And it seemed impossible how it had frozen for those moments in the book store, sitting side by side with a curiously strange lad that Nat could almost consider a friend.
