Crimson_Enigma
A figure laced by the surrounding light entered the city. Her long, flowing hair brushing against the bare skin of her shoulders as it waved in longing to the heavens. Her eyes glowed a brilliant yellow, as they often shifted from scarlet to a pale moonlight, today they were dazzling with curiosity. A smile that signaled a peak in her adrenaline level appeared, one that didn't know her might mistake it for sinister. As she approached the city her figure began to become coherent, strangers within the town could easily identify her as female. She doubt seriously that anyone would know her, anyone in this generation. Those before these beings had probably passed or moved on with their lives. She hadn't been able to do so.

Crimson's boots tapped upon the foundation of what some people would call "home." The straps of her outfit rustling behind her as a small current was created from the rhythm of her walk. There were scents upon the air, she caught the aroma within her net of senses. Which was the leader she couldn't tell. She hadn't a clue as to who the leader was. Crimson had no desire to meet him simply to request shelter. The simple requirements was something she didn't need. Her goal was only to meet, see, and talk with him. She was certain he wouldn't be aware of her existence but her curiosity irked her onward. Crimson latched onto the scent of the beings with the strongest power and set about her path to complete her goal. She couldn't stop herself from wondering if anyone would be able to detect her presence.

-400 Years ago Enishi finally died, but his connection with Crimson countined on. When she left this place, it was weakened until now..."help...me..." -his ghost spoke to her silently in the back of her mind. His weak spirit now only resided inside her while his body rested in peace...and over the years...he forgot where it was laid. The ghost that haunted Crimson was of Enishi in his younger days, back when he was a adopted prince. Those days long since past. His hair was showing signs of black, the normal silver slowly resorting...he was getting younger until his spirit would finally vanish from her and he would never be able to return.

"Help me my love.."

Crimson hesitated, stopping immediately mid walk. Her foot an inches or less above the earth beneath her. Her current task became a complete haze. A voice she hadn't heard in ages filled her ears, a sensation she could only describe as a pounding on her ear drums. Her temples throbbed and she pinched her mouth shut, her ruby lips turning pale from the pressure.

She searched for an alley or a small space where there weren't many people. She scanned the area a moment and found a suitable place between two buildings. Crimson ducked in the shadows. An image approached her mind, one that she was all too familiar with, even after the long eternity apart from him. There was someone. Someone from the first generation and she could bring him back. There was a way and she was willing to risk it.

Crimson smiled a gentle smile, her cheeks flushed with the thrill of his soul, conscious, and being within her. "Hello my darling. What will you have me do?"

-He smiled in her mind, wanting to feel her warmth again. At the current moment, that was impossible- "I need you to bring me back. I..don't have much time left...my spirit is fading."

-He did his best to give her a small flash of what he remembered about where his body was. His skeleton in his armor, resting with his beloved sword-

"I don't know how...but I need you to do it for me."

For some, the sooty air of the Fire Clan city was quite the hinderence if one was not used to it. As for some, the air was an everyday thing. Perhaps it was the hard air that made warriors from Fire more hearty, and perhaps it was also the reason some could keep going where some could not. Maaske on the other hand, was not affected by this at all. In his home near the castle, he was training in his courtyard, swinging sword and ax and shield. He practiced this day after day after day, hoping to make his swings deadlier and quicker. The sun was higher in the sooty sky, telling Maaske it was time to find something to fill his growling stomach.

He put on his everyday clothing, leaving his ax and shield at home today as he want out to shop, his longsword equipped at his side. He browsed the markets, picking up his usual supplies. He looked at the meats on display, cutting his own side of beef as he tossed the butcher a few coins for the beef. Next he went to the vegetables, picking a few peppers and onions for his usual morning stew.

After acquiring his supplies, he went back home to make his stew.

"A fine meal that was, as usual." Maaske said to himself as he finished his large pot of morning breakfast. Now was the time of day he went out, searching for something new he had not seen in Fire, which he usually never found.

With Shield, Ax and Sword on his back, he went out searching for the one thing to tie him to Fire. Perhaps today was a day where something interesting might happen.

(Not exactly the best introductory post I've had, but I have NO idea where you all are. I left it open so someone might be able to find me. sweatdrop )

Crimson's smile turned to a melancholy frown. The images filling her mind reeled her head with such a force her brain seemed like it was going to over load and exploded. She suddenly felt the urge to have someone slam her skull into the building next to her if only it could give her release from the torrent of memories. She shut her eyes tight and stopped fighting the feelings, it all became easier and she heard his voice once more. The frown became a look of absolute doubt. "How the hell am I supposed to find his grave? He's been dead for 400 years and I haven't stepped foot in the Fire Clan for 100 more than his passing." She growled out of frustration as she left the solitude and security of the dark alley.

Crimson vaguely remembered some gibberish among locals. There was a series of mines underneath the city. If Enishi's body was going to be located anywhere it seems obvious that that would be the first place to look. He was basically exiled from the territory of shadow and darkness. All the other clans despised him, the Fire Clan was the only clan that gave him a second chance. A smirk appeared on her face, "Thanks to me." It made sense that he would have been buried here.

This was going to be difficult...she had absolutely no sense of direction. So, with her best foot forward she set out to aimlessly wandering about in search of the mine entrance.

Fate thought for a second. He was not proficient with any ranged weapons, all he had was his magic and a sword. Can I hunt with those? he thought.
He made a weird look with his face, it seemed to be a cross between a frown and a smile. "Well, I would gladly do so. However, I have no skill in ranged weapons. I have my magic and a sword, but I might accidentally damage the meat before getting it here. I'll try, but don't expect the best results."
Fate smiled and looked at the sword on his back. It was a b*****d-sword, which is something that is somewhere in between a great sword and a long sword. It's doable with one hand, but that's usually only if you're strong enough for such a thing.
He then looked back at Kagai and Miiro, he expected that Kagai would say something along the lines of "Just do your best, and if doesn't work out just come back anyways and give me what you have". But that was just a guess.

Kagai massaged his chin wile Fate spoke could tell that fate was going to state a problem by his facial features. After he stated the problem Kagai looked down at the ground thinking then back up at fate and placed his hand back to his side.

"So you don't have any skill with throwing knives or daggers and your not proficient at stalking pray. Ah well ill take care of it myself once i am done here then. I was asked to do the hunting as it is and you don't seem very confertable with the idea of hunting yourself so don't worrie about it." Kagai said

Miiro adjusted the cloth around his face "surely, if he isn't skilled, you should take him with you so that he should learn?" Miiro questioned "you seem to have quite a few at above average strength here what...oh ha! there they are!" Miiro said pointing to a group of earth clan humans walking towards the village

-When she soon dicovered about the mines, several old flashs raced through his ghostly mind. A series of tunnels, the cold damp rocks and the every so often tap of water on the small pool under it. That was all he could remember at the moment, but it was something that led them in the right direction.
Something did stir in his mind for a brief moment. That wasn't his sword by his side in the grave...-

"My love, you might need my sword to revive me...I believe it would be near the old gardens or over time have wanted to return to me...you have two places."

For once, Maaske found his adventure for this day. The clan leader, and a few others, seemed to be somewhere near the entrance to the city. As he walked towards them off in the distance, or at least he assumed that might be them, he waved toward the many merchants that littered the sides of the streets. He neared the gates and saw Earth clan people walking toward the city, their faces wrapped in cloth like the many tourists who traveled here.

He continued to walk on, hoping to run into the clan leader.

Fate laughed when Kagai said what he said. He quickly caught himself, though. He had just laughed at his leader.
He looked at Kagai and said simply "You do me no justice, honorable leader. I said I was not proficient with ranged weapons, not with stalking prey." He said with a slightly evil grin on his face.
He just couldn't help himself, sometimes.

kagai looked off past fate watching Maaske walking in there direction though he was still a little ways off. Kagai then smiled slightly at fate before speaking.

"You o me nothing more then the same loyalty you deserve from me. Laugh, question and argue with me if you must. I am always open to suggestions and input form my fellow clans memebers. You don't have to use such formal speech my father named me Kagai for a reason. Know to the hunting matter Why not try stalking as best you could and sneak attack or bate something into you. You seem like you want to try your hand at it so thats the task i give you bring me back at least one kill and ill buy you a drink." Kagai said to fate he was not ignoring Miiro but felt like his friend wouldn't be offended if he was addressed last.

Kagai looked over at Miiro with a discouraged look but even that was hidden in a neutral expression.

"I wish to discuss much with you but its not looking like you picked the best time to pay me a visit. Things are picking up around here trade matters and other important things may need to wait unless what you have to say can be heard by all with out a care. So those or the humans not very impressed but they are humans after all." Kagai said the last bit with out really thinking before speaking.

"come now, there is a limited amount of beings with power that can exist in a world, though they may lack power, they do have other redeeming qualities, stop kidding around, they need permission to build tracks in fire clan" Miiro said smiling, covering for Kagai's sake "discuss your trading with them, it is thier sweat and effort the the earth rewards, it should be thier trade to make...they may need more metal for the tracks as well."

Miiro looked out towards river clan "perhaps i should pay them a visit....we'll have to catch up another time it seems" he said re-fastening his cloak

((feel free to rp the earth clan humans how you see fit))

It looked as though Kagai had noticed him walking in his direction, then turned back to talk to his friend. Maaske walked swifter toward them, finally reaching their position.

"Good afternoon Kagai, how might you and your friend be this fine day?" He asked them, slightly smiling at him and his friend.

(Short as hell, sorry.)
