Freckles snorted and splashed at the water irately with a paw. {It's no fun if you always get one,} she said. {And I like getting wet!} She inched downstream on her belly, head half in the water, and looked under all of the overhangs to see if there were any catchable fish.

Pax didn't want to be left out of the action. He ran towards the water and jumped in with a splash. {Did I get one?} He got up and looked around for anything that might show if he did indeed catch a fish.

{Hey, I like getting wet, too!} Cart said enthusiastically. He galloped into the stream, sending up waves of water. He paused and caught two fish. Each one speared on claws from an opposite paw, he played with them, giving the right one a squeaky voice and the other a deeper one. {Grr, I shall eat you up! O no, don't eat me, noble dragon! Mwahaha!! You are tasty with herbs! Eek, don't eat me, please, mighty dragon! I'm hungry! I shall eat you! Om nom nom nom nom!!} Cart grabbed both of the fish and brought them back to shore.

Freckles slipped on a rock when she heard Cart's conversation. Her paws went every which way and she landed flat on her stomach. Much to her delight, however, this startled a fish, who made a run for it downstream. She leapt back up and ran after the fish. It darted under a log, but she closed her eyes and plunged her head after it, snagging it in her mouth. She pulled her head back out with the wriggling prize in her mouth, and leapt back onto the stream bank. She shook herself all over, sending a fine spray of water every which way, and padded back to rest. {And that is how you catch fish.}

Cart nodded. {And the best part is, you have fun and get wet simultaneously!}
Sfor watched, inwardly giggling. {Hey, Cart, when will we go south?} she asked unexpectedly.
{Erm...once everyone knows how to fish, I guess...} Cart replied, panicking inside.

Freckles looked up from where she was tearing into her fish. {I want to say good-bye to Khala first. We grew up together; it's not right to leave without saying good-bye.}

Pax pulled himself up and waited for a fish to go by him. One swam past him but he did not move to catch it. Another swam past him and he leaped on it with full force. {Gotcha!} He picked the fish up out of the water with his mouth. He walked out of the water and sat on the bank, eating. He was listening to the conversation between the others when he heard about going south. {I get to leave right? I caught a fish.} He had his mouth full. He hoped the they were able to understand him through his spluttering of the fish from his mouth.

Cart thought about it for a moment. {We'll leave soon,} he promised. {But I also want to say good-bye to Khala. And we should all say good-bye to Madra and Jabari. But other than that...I think we're ready.}

Freckles finishes off her fish. {With nothing holding us back, then, we should probably go say good-bye to her now. There's no telling when Old Silverback will return.}

{Then there's no use waiting around,} Freckles said. {Old Silverback might come back any time!} Worried that Khala might leave without them, Freckles bounded back to the cave.((OoC: Sorry to rush things guys, but the next flatsale is on Friday, so... yeah. x3))

Cart followed her, racing back to the cave to say his last good-byes to Khala and Jabari.
Before she left, Sfor turned towards the others. {Good-bye, Madra. It's been fun...hopefully we'll see each other again someday.} With that, she ran off to follow Cart.

Emblem slowly padded up to Madra, his head bowed. {Well, sis, it seems it's time for me to go, and we might not be back...} he started, but the orange dragon shook his head. {No, no. I'll come back, I promise.} EMblem said, looking up at Madra. {I promise you and Jabari that we'll all come back safely, okay?} Emblem said. He turned to dart back to the cave with Cart and Sfor. {See you then, sis!} he called, bounding off.

Madra was sad the others were going to leave soon but atleast she wouldn't be alone. Following the others back to the cave Madra was sure it would be exciting soon, she didn't know why but she had a feeling something was gonna happen.
