The dagger clanked against the ground, and then Zeph curled his tail back, "Eh? So he's still around? Well I don't have any business with him at all. It's just that we used to know each other a long time ago."
Zeph stepped closer to Shinzui, then slung his tail back out, but this time aiming for the wolf's side.

Zeph saw that his attack didn't do anything at all, then he leaned forward and landed on two hands, sniffing the air. When he discovered that the wolf didn't have a scent, he frowned, "You could have mentioned that earlier!"
He crawled up along the side of a building and put on his camouflage again, "Well then I guess I should go hunt something or somebody else."
Zeph swung himself onto the top of the roof and moved even further into the town, where there were more people.
((I'll change the post if you want. I'm not too sure how to react to this situation either.))

Zeph jumped off a roof and quietly landed in an alleyway. He wandered out into the streets and found that there was a girl who was carrying a peculiar bird within her arms, I wonder what that tastes like..
He smirked before he got along side of the girl, then bent his head down and chomped down on the bird's neck and yanked it out of the girl's grasp. His fangs gave the creature a quick death and a rather bloody one. The girl screamed upon seeing her now dead bird flying through the air as if it had been the victim of black magic. When the other towns folk saw what the scream was about, they almost had the same reaction. Zeph gave a muffled laugh, clearly amused by the reactions and he sped down the street.
One of the people wouldn't let such a thing slide, and he unsheathed his sword to cut down the bird to stop it, or whatever was controlling it. Zeph simply moved his head back, and the sword made a gash through the bird's chest. He froze, pretending as though the attack was successful, then he whipped his tail around and smacked the back of the warrior's neck, knocking him out cold. Afterwards, Zeph wrapped his tail around the person's waist and lifted him up, Heh, meal for the trip.
He crawled up along the wall and onto the rooftops again, and ran towards the outer edge of the town.

sakabato kumori "an intruder? wolf you say? if you mean shinzui...his methods are not mine but, he shares my purpose" getsuei said with a twinge of annoyance in his voice
He stepped forward, listening more towards the breeze but he could not pinpoint the exact location of the 'intruder'.
"I'm going to the town first. I'll see you later." Reiki bowed slightly, and within seconds, he changed into his fox form, and sped towards the town, worrying for the town's people.

When Zeph got outside of the town, he sat on top of a boulder and placed the fellow down next to himself. He eagerly bit into the bird and ripped part of it off, then swallowed that part whole. To a normal person, it would be a gruesome sight to view the bird's flesh being pulled apart in mid-air. Zeph swished his tail back and forth, enjoying his meal, So it tastes like regular chicken, hmm..

Getsuei simply smiled and disapeared
however, Shinzui let out a howl in a warning to the being he had encoutered earlier...in response to the howl, some of the larger trees began to stir

"Huh?" Zeph could hear some movement above himself. He looked up and saw that some of the trees were moving, "Eh? What in the blazes?"
He didn't want to stay to find out so he picked up the man with his tail again after finishing the bird, and then he zipped off down a path he saw.

groans from the trees could be heard and if zeph would notice, earth shaking footstep could be heard starting at a slow pace

"Noooo!!! Not again!!! I thought I already got enough of this back in Hell!" Zeph recognized the sound now, and was well familiar with it. He picked up his pace, not knowing how far from the northern clans he was, but he headed in that direction anyways, "I...miss my wings..."

if he would look behind him he would see a large tree like creature heading towards him at a frightening pace. this particular one was an oak tree...it's trunk split in two, to allow for walking, and one side of it was covered in moss. Many of the birds that lived in its branches were swarming about frantically

Up ahead he could see that he was getting closer and closer to one of the cliffs in the area. He felt that his safety was secured if he could just reach it. When he got there, he mustered all of his strength to speed his way along the cliff face and looked back only once, seeing that there was a huge tree that had followed him all the way over there.

Watching the being climb up the cliff face the tree turned around and walked slowly back to it's roots
