Zinnia let Itomaru continue until she started to feel the slightest bit light-headed. Now, while she never had her blood drawn before, she guessed that this was the point at which any additional blood taken would be risky. She nudged him gently with her paw, and said in a gentle tone, "I think that's enough, Itomaru. I'm starting to get a little light-headed."

Itomaru gasped in a way as he lifted his mouth from Zinnia's neck, the last bits of blood dripping down his chin and onto the branches below. His eyes were now glowing with the slightest hint of red, and he looked at the bite marks on her neck. They were no longer flowing, but blood still remained painted around them, and down her fur on that side. He looked down from the corner of his eye, and looked away as he said to her, "I'm sorry, I was unable to control myself."

Zinnia inspected the 'damage' by running a paw over her neck. The wound was just a bit sore, but it wasn't bleeding and the blood would wash off with little effort. The same was too be said of the blood that had run down her fur. She then said, "That's okay, I'm alright. No harm done," she added with a smile and a cheery tone. She hoped that he wouldn't feel guilty for too long.

Itomaru looked back at Zinnia as he wiped his mouth and chin with his arm, the red smearing across it. The glow around his eyes and her pendent came to a stop there, and he was finally back in full control. He smiled softly and replied, "Thank you, Miss Zinnia... You have quite delicious blood." He still felt guilty, but he at least felt that she hadn't minded it all that much, so it made him feel better.

"Really? Thanks! And it was no problem at all. I always wondered what it would be like to have my blood sucked," Zinnia admitted. She wasn't sure if she had told him that before. She then looked both her and Itomaru over, concluding with a laugh, "Maybe we should find a pond or a lake before the night is done and wash up."

Itomaru bowed to her and smiled as he half-jokingly replied to her, "It was a pleasure to be of service then, Miss Zinnia." He then walked over to the edge of the branch, careful to keep his balance so he wouldn't fall off into the sea of leaves and branches below. The wind blew strongly as he reached the end of the branch, and he looked below, scanning for a pond among the dark ground. "I beleive I see one, Miss Zinnia," he called back as he looked harder.

Zinnia watched as Itomaru walked toward the end of the branch, hoping he wouldn't fall off. She kept still to help avoid making the branch move suddenly. Not that she really thought her movements would make too much of a difference since she was sitting toward the base of the branch. Besides, he spent a lot of his time in the trees, so it wasn't likely for him to fall. Well, while he was awake anyway, she thought to herself, recalling that one time he fell out of the tree on her. "Okay then, let's get done and wash up," she replied when he said he found a pond.

Itomaru nodded as he jumped down onto the ground, before looking back up at Zinnia. "If you jump, I promise I will catch you Miss Zinnia," he called up to her. He then held out his arms, assuming that she will choose to jump.

To be honest, before Itomaru jumped down to the ground and offered to catch her, Zinnia was just planning on climbing down. But since Itomaru was being so kind and was going to catch her she may as well jump. That just seemed to her the most polite thing to do. Besides, jumping from a tree might be fun. "Okay!" She positioned herself over Itomaru, and leaped straight down.

Itomaru moved in little motions as Zinnia fell down, just to be sure he wouldn't miss her. He smiled as she fell into his arms, and he spun to keep her from falling out. "It seems the princess has arrived," he said as the spinning came to a stop, and he set her down softly on the dewing grass.

Zinnia smiled as Itomaru caught her, happy she wasn't dropped. Not that she thought that he was going to drop her. She was just glad that he didn't. She blushed slightly at being called a princess, and was about to say that she wasn't one, but then realized that that could be considered compliment fishing. "That was fun," she replied, "Okay, to the pond!"

Itomaru smiled as he held out his paw in a gesture of politeness to help her up. "Yes, let us venture to the pond and clean off," he said as he smiled softly and then chuckled a bit. "We can even get in that fishing that has eluded us for so long once we arrive there."

Zinnia took the paw and rose to her feet. She smiled at the mention of the fishing that they've been unable to do. "Yeah, we can. Unless something weird happens and we can't. The number of times that we've been unable to fish makes me wonder if somebody out there is against it." She laughed, showing that she was joking.

Itomaru laughed along with Zinnia and she stood up. He started to walk towards the lake as he commented to her, "Yes, it would seem as if someone doesn't want us to fish." As he walked, he began to wonder if what had happened earlier had anything to do with her locket. He then shook his head to this and thought, 'Nah it couldn't have...'.

Zinnia walked along beside Itomaru. He seemed somewhat distracted to her. She wasn't sure if it was anything important, or if it was any of her business at all, but she asked, "Something on your mind?" She was curious, especially after the slight shake of the head.
