The rainbow wolf seamed to snap back mentally, Reicher was not really a topic he wanted to think about, even if River was there with him. It was the shear fact that Reicher owned Rivers life that made it even worse to think on. He pondered again thinking of what they would do together if either survived. "We could claim a nice territory of our own, by the waterside maybe." He shurged again. "I honestly don't know, the only thing I am certain on is that I want anything I do in life from this point to involve you- nothing else will do for me. "Thats why I think we should just run away- forget Reicher...he'll only kill you if you go back- bathing in a river or not he's still going to smell me. And believe me you he dose not want my happyness one bit. Your pup friend will be fine. It's you I'm worried about- if you go back and he kills you...the Pup will be worse off then before. I know Reicher- he's like that..." He flinched slightly thinking about this in the long run. Both of there lives were in mortal danger- and with River returning she'd be as good as dead. He knew it- but wished she'd know that too.

River looked at Diego sadly, "I have to go back, I am bound to the pack. The pups, I guess Sashta would give to Realin if I left.. but.. Diego I have to go back. Even if not right into the pack, I want to see Ran one last time!" IF the only way of being with Diego was to leave the pack, she would have to, though not before saying good bye to Ran. Nothing would stop her. She didn't have to talk to the young wolf as she would only run back to her mother but she wanted to see her one last time. "If we go.. we aren't going to be able to see anyone are we?" She sighed, knowing the only pack she would be in would be one of two wolves.

Diego shook his head knowing the truth. "No we''d be in danger if we spoke to anyone- and possibly even put others in danger...If Reicher catches word of this he''ll stop at nothing to kill either one of us- Thats why I implore you not to go back." From his gullet emited a heart breaking whine. "I know Reicher- I know that you''ll be punished or killed if you go back. I don''t want that-" He placed a paw on her tenderly. "Ran will be fine. I''m sure her mother dose a very good job taking care of her, and just think after we''ve been gone long enough you two will see each other again and she won''t be bound to the pack...Its the best for the both of you..." He dipped his head low. "I must sound heartless..." His ears pinned agaist his head and he sighed again. He too was giving up alot if they did choose to run away together. He''d never see his adoptive mother Whisper again- Oh how he''d miss her; she always did know how to make everything right. It was just the way she was. "Please don''t go back...." He said more firmly hoping that she would understand the sevarity of the situation.

River looked at Diego and nodded her head, "Ok I won't go back. I also wont not talk to anyone. Reicher is too busy wrapped up in hisself to really care about us. Why would he come after us? There is no real reason! We shall talk to who we wish and he can keep working out how to take over the world and kill innocent lives at the same time!" She held her head as high as she could making it very clear that she wouldn't not talk to anyone. She nuzzled Diego and smiled, "I am sorry, I cant see him coming after us, there is no point in it! We will go, have our own family and if need be create a pack, one of care and not based on fighting and hurt." She tilted her head looking at him lovingly. She had said all she needed.

He nodded, his mind set on this. "Yes a pack based on love and kindness." He couldn't see much of a reason for Reicher comming after them anyway. He didn't much care when he left in the first place- so why would it matter if he was gone now. Anyway he lived up to his end of the bargin with Sashta brining in a female to save his life. So if Reicher hunted him down it would really be going agaist her word; and though he hated Sashta he doubted that she would backstab anyone unlike Reicher. "Why don't we start our pack now? And after we've found good packlands we'll come back and find others who want to join-" He paused. "I think there is a good space not to far from here in the mountians- that would be a perfect place to start a new pack!" He nuzzled her getting more excited as he thought about it.

River smiled at Diego, it was amazing how different he really was. He wasn't half as stupid as others made him out to be. The idea of her own pack was great. That would shove it in realins face especially if they managed to prove how much an idiot Reicher was. They could attempt to ruin his plans. It would be a great thing and they could help others, that seemed lost in themselves or others classed as outcasts. After all the strange were wonderful. "Our own pack would be great. We can keep everyone safe who has ever been abused or been put down. The ones who feel they are nothing!" She smiled at Diego and licked at his maw happily.

Diego couldn't be more excited. "And we could have everyone equal in the pack! Nobody ruleing over any of the others!" His tail fluttered back and forth quicker and quicker. "I'm sure we could find alot of wolves that feel they don't fit in- more so wolves that were in Reichers pack that just got fed up with him." A playful smile spread across his maw. "I honstly can't wait to see his face when he finds out his two worst enmys(sp) started a pack...with pack members he didn't want in the first place..." He laughed so hard that he wound up knocking over his acorns once again with his paw.

River smiled, her tail started to wag behind her, "We would be the Alphas, but just so we can keep everything in order though really we wont be any different from others!" She nuzzled at Diego, buring her maw in his fur. "If Reicher comes after us we will fight. He can't hurt us! I wont let him!" A snarl emmited from her throat as she looked at the ground before smiling at Diego.

"Same as I, m'love same as I..." He chuckled looking down at the acorns again. "Well I guess there is no need for those considering I'm a wolf again- but I'll take some for the road...they are so very tasty." He nodded to himself picking up one in his muzzle. "So before it gets dark- lets start our journey to those mountians..." He looked up at the sun in the sky. "And after everything is set up we'll come back and find wolves that need homes badly..."

River smiled and nodded, "Yes lets leave and quick. Once we have found our lands we can do what we need!" She smiled and nuzzled him happily before turning back to Diego, "Oh yeah! I liked you as a squirrel aswell! You were really cute!" She smiled cheekily at him before turning, her tail swishing behind her, hitting his maw as she started to walk towards the mountains.

As River passed before him he lightly nipped at her tail. Then sprinted forward to walk next to her. "I'm not quite sure as to what mountians they were- but I believe they were beyond the freelands..." He tilted his head having some vegue recolection of them. "My parent's raised me there- so I know it would be a great place to start a pack." Although he didn't know the real reason his parents had abandoned him. If there had not have been humans hunting around there they would probally all still be together. But Diego thinking that they just didn't want him anymore thanks to his pelt kept walking in that direction.

River smiled at him and it suddenly dawned on her how little they really knew about each other. She licked at his maw happily and smiled, "How long have you been alone?" She hoped she wasn't being too nosy about anything. She didn't want to upset him at all.

He stoped walking for a few seconds, the relization dawning on him that he always had been alone. "Well I was alone- untill I met you..." He smirked and started walking again. It was true Diego never really fit in anywhere he went; his bizaar pelt always made him stand out amoust the others. He knew that his differences scared many people and that was why he was always by himself. But River made him feel whole- like he belonged. He liked that feeling- finally he was accepted and loved for who he was. His smile grew larger. "Lets not ever be alone again- either one of us..."

River looked a little saddened and then smiled as he said the alst, "No we will never be alone again I promise!" She turned to him lovingly and nuzzled him, "I will always be with you Diego, forever!" She smiled happily, a loving look in her eyes. Diego was special, different. She loved him, she actually loved him.

Her responce was good enough for him. "And I will always be there for you." He licked the top of her head tenderly. Walking forward the forest seamed to go on for endless miles. Although the distance to where he grew up seamed shorted then when he had first made the journay- it was probally thanks to longer legs. As the trees grew more dence Diego has this thought that he had been in this area before. Prehaps these were the freelands?
