I got into Full Metal Alchemist by hearing about it at a University Anime Club that I am in..... *Thinking back to lost memories* Well, the Anime Club moderator had it in his CD-R collection and I had heard that it was pretty good. Though, I am still not sure if I saw the anime first or the manga.... Both were about the same time. So I checked them out, and then a week later the series got licensed. He had up to 16, but recently I was able to get up to 26..... though, as of now, I am downloaded 1-52, because I had downloaded the 1-26 and then when the guy came out with the rest he just grouped it all into a 1-52 package..... which sucks, because I am just torrenting the same friggin files over again...... kind of like the fact that I had 1-16 and then had to download 1-26.........
Man, toooooo many copies, though, I just deleted the extras..... But this 1-52 is going to take me a while.......
Anyways...... I think that the manga is a lot better than the anime.... Though, I should save that for another topic.......

Sadly, it all began with Malice Mizer. sweatdrop
It was last year at Otakon. My friend caught me watching a MM music video, so she naturally assumed I was into J-Rock in general stare . So she shoved the flyer for Otakon in my face and started ranting about some band who sung the FullMetal Alchemist theme. I kind of looked at her funny, and she decided to drag me to the concert that night.
I went, and decided that L'Arc~en~Ciel was pretty cool. And according to my tradition, bought the first CD of thiers I could find, Which turned out to be SMILE sweatdrop . I saw the little sticker on the front that said "Featuring Ready, Steady, Go the theme from Cartoon Network's smash hit: Fullmetal Alchemist" So I was like, Cartoon Network, wonderful, another anime butchered for the sake of money. stare
So I looked at my friend, and went "What is FullMetal Alchemist?" and she told me, and I promptly went and found it on the internet. And so, I met Roy, and I am here. xd

No, the crotchless pants belong to TMR. Malice Mizer are the ones with the dresses and the shiny vinyl/patent leather bodysuits. xd

first, I saw a lil' description in some anime magazine. It was written here that "atmosphere is a little bit similar to Trigun series", I LOVEW Trigun, so I was curious. Then I saw 1st episode on convent; I've started to be really interested. Then I was begging my friend to download some episodes, and it began whee (I saw only 1-27 episodes, but I was reading manga on anime-source; I'm a BIG fan on manga, it's better than anime; I also LOVE FMA music)
I can say I'm a long-time fan; it started about 1,5 years ago, I think sweatdrop

I refer to it as the Miniskirt episode. biggrin lol biggrin I saw that and I've been hooked ever since. Heh my mom got on me because was telling the TV not to let Greed out. First she looked at me starnge and told me Greed should stay wherever it was then she told me to be quite because my sister was asleep. I was on the floor laughing. biggrin lol biggrin

I hate it when they do that. evil
