She went back to digging until her whole body ached. Her fur was covered in dirt making her once lovely purple and white fur a brown and grey coloration. The burrow wasn't neat and it wasn't as big as she really wanted. "It will have to do" she mumbled to herself. Seeing her paws were filthy and feeling dirty all over, she left her new home to find a water source.
Along the way she left a few light scratches on the trees to find her way back. Soon she heard the faint noise from the beach, the occassional bird noises. It wasn't until she stepped out of the line of trees ending the forest that she noticed it was getting dark. Peering around she hoped no one would see her a mess. She quickly trotted towards the water.

Red had been running along the beach, racing along the waves but never touching them for some time now. He grew bored and walked up onto the sandy beach where the sand was warm and dry and turned around in a circle only to lay down for a spell. He was in that stat of being half asleep and half awake so he didn't notice something purple come his way.

Seeing no one in particular she walked out onto the sand. Her small paws sunk in with each step and kicked it up as she moved towards the water. She saw something, that red again. Turning her gaze to focus on it she realized what she already figured out. It was him again. He had invaded her mind while she was on her own and now this. She had half a mind to say something, anything even something rude but kept her muzzle shut tight.
Slinking passed him trying to go unnoticed, she moved to the water to wash off. Wading into the surf she took a deep breath to clear her mind and settle on cleaning herself no longer in the mood for a swim. She dunked under the water enough to clean her fur from head to toe then stepped out again. The wind wasn't strong, blowing enough to dry her fur withing an hour or two. Seeing him still there she walked over, standing in his sunlight whatever was left of it.

Red growled an moaned. "Five more minutes eh? Thats not much to ask for now is it?" Red was still half awake and could tell that someone was in his light. He had also heard someone splashing around and his mind worked that into his dreams. It had to do with a large tadpole.

Andariel smirked and sat down before him, watching him sleep. She leaned over at one point to look at his tail, a single drop of water that had clung to her sparkling hair fell on his nose. "Wow it's bright.." she was curious about his tail being aflame still and it didn't seem to bother him. Then she got this feeling of deja voo. "Ah.." she couldn't explain that any more then the pull to him.

Red's eyes shot open and he woke up with a start from a drop of water that had gotten on this tail. His claws extended into the soft sand as he jumped up and looked about wildly, at first he hadn't even seen Andariel. Twice he looked around wildly till he saw what was right in front of him. "You!!?..." he started. "Umm what are you still doing here?" He was wakened up too quickly, his thoughts where still jumbled. He thought he was still dreaming. "Look, will you just leave me be? I don't know what you want and you not talking isn't helping me any....? Hey where did that tadpole go?"

Andariel almost fell back, scooting out of his way quickly. She stammered trying to apologize but frowned, her ears falling back against her head. "I.. I'm sorry.." She bit back a sob having a little more pride then to start balling at his harsh words. Getting up she turned before he could see the hurt look in her eyes. "You won't see me again" she called over her shoulder, not catching the tadpole question.
She quickly trotted off muttering to herself. Stupid Andariel.. he's not interested. He doesn't even want to look at you.

Red shook his head, he was still very groggy. "Oi!!" He yelled out at the top of his lungs. "OI! I SAID!" He yelled again to get her to stop walking off. Did she just talk? He wondered. He was starting to wonder if this was even still a dream.

She kept going. Hearing his odd way of protesting didn't phase her a bit. It could have ment anything. She almost stopped to look back at him but her feelings were quite bruised. Picking up the pace she tried to run for cover in the forest, a tear streaking a line down her cheek fur.

The deep orange male with the tattoo XIII across his arm yelled one last time at the top of his lungs. "Whats the matter chicken!? Why are you running away!" He huffed and sat down. He's tail flicked from side to side.

Andariel looked for somewhere to hide. If she could she would have shrunk into a small ball and shut everything out. She opted to climb a tree and curl up on a thick branch instead. Am I really so aweful to be around? Her head pressed into the trunk of the tree, inhaling pine and a faint smell of sap. I'm useless

'What a wuss." Red told him self as he sat there all alone and deadly aware of the fact that his is not dreaming any more. He looked off to the sunset, it matched his tail nicely. He laid down again but faced the setting sun this time. "Stupid girl." He muttered.

Rubbing her head against the hard trunk she sighed. She wanted to be his friend if nothing else, then he had to say those things. "Hmph" If he didn't care for her she wouldn't let it bother her. "Plenty of others..." she mumbled. But the more she thought about it the more she hated the idea.
~Short time skip~
Andariel lifted her head to look up at the sky. What little she could see with the thick covering of the trees it was well into the night. Climbing down from her perch she walked back to the beach. If he was still there she would give him a peace of her mind for being so mean. She didn't know when she did see him that thought would go right out the door and she would feel hurt again. Sucking it up she marched over to him "Why do you dislike me so much?" she asked bluntly.

Red watched the sky above him turn from a light blue to a yellow, red, purpled and then at last it became a navy blue that was lite up with thousandths of diamonds the sky. The full moon shone down on the ocean and it became a reflexion of the sky above it. It was beautiful but not that Red cared. No he was still thinking about that dumb girl. Why was she like that? Why did she plague his mind so?
Red was so deep in thought that he didn't notice her coming up from behind him. He stared at her wide eyed. "Did I ever say that?" For a moment he wondered if he was day dreaming again but he knew the last time wasn't a dream so this time must not be one too. How did odd she was to make him self doubt him self.

She stared down at him, unsure what to think. For all she knew he was just playing a bunch of head games. "In a round about way, yes. I will leave for good if you just answer the question."
